I've gotten two rings here a couple of months ago, and they are already broken. I treat my rings very well, so I'm surprised the amethyst on the one chipped and the garnet on my other one came out of the ring. These rings were not cheap either! I'm extremely disappointed in lotus, their shop has turn to more of a cheap tourist trap shop than a quality made crystal store like I use to know. I'm not coming back. read more

My wife and I had a terrible experience at Lotus on June 3rd. Despite initially hesitating to share this, I felt compelled to do so after hearing the manager mention an internal investigation and reprimanding the employee, instead of firing her immediately. Here are some key facts: 1. On June 3rd, 2023, Kadence Terry was the acting supervisor. 2. Lotus's return/exchange policy allows for 30 days if the item is in the same condition. 3. We bought the item, a tower, at Lotus on May 12th for $303.62, including tax. 4. The new tower we wanted to exchange for was priced at $777 with a 40% discount. Upon entering the store, we approached the front counter and politely asked a blonde woman if someone could take us to the backroom to check if the desired tower was available. We mentioned that we didn't have the receipt but could show our bank statement to help locate the sale. Kadence seemed annoyed when she learned about our intention to exchange the tower. She claimed she had never seen the tower before until another confirmed that she had sold it to us. Despite being within the 30-day return window, Kadence insisted on not issuing a refund and said we must purchase an item of equal or greater value. We brushed off her behavior for the moment since we planned to purchase a more expensive tower. Kadence was called to help with the transaction. She asked for the card used for the initial purchase, which I handed over to her to find the transaction for the credit amount. Kadence repeatedly made errors calculating the amount due for the new tower. She claimed the balance was $306.96 plus tax. When I inquired about her math, she responded rudely and explained her incorrect equation: New Tower: $777 - $300 (credit from returned tower) - 40% discount = $286.20 $286.20 * 1.0725 (tax) = $306.96 However, the correct calculation should have been: (($777 - 40%) - $300) * 1.0725 = $178.21 I tried explaining this to Kadence, but she rudely interrupted me. At this point, I confronted her about her rude behavior since we entered the store. In response, she committed fraud by charging my card without my knowledge or approval. She charged $214.50, and then told us to leave the store and handed us a box which I though was the original tower. Outside, I realized what she had done when I saw the new tower and a receipt in the box. However, I couldn't go back into the store due to the risk of violating Criminal Trespass under Utah code 76-6-206 (2) (b) (i). I had no knowledge of the charge on my card. She likely charged me using the card info from the previous transaction or when my card was near the card sensor. The day after the incident, on June 4th at 5:00 PM, I spoke with the manager, Austin, during a 13-minute call. He refunded $21.75, but the correct refund should have been $36.29. There is still a remaining balance owed to us of $14.54. During our conversation, Austin mentioned that there would be disciplinary action. I was surprised to hear that Kadence was still employed after her misconduct and criminal actions against customers. Due to Kadence's actions and lack of communication from Lotus, I am filling a criminal complaint against her with the Draper Police Department and the District Attorney's office. She violated Utah 76-6-506.2, section (2) d, subsection (iii), which constitutes a class B misdemeanor. Kadence's behavior falls under the category of unlawful use of a financial transaction card according to Utah law. She made an unauthorized charge without my knowledge or agreement. Utah Code 76-6-506.2 Unlawful use of financial transaction card: (2) An individual commits unlawful use of a financial transaction card if they: (D) knowingly, with the intent to defraud, present or cause to be presented to the issuer or an authorized credit card merchant, any credit card sales draft for payment or collection, if: (iii) the purported sale was not authorized by the cardholder. read more

Wow!!!! This is an amazing crystal Store. There is an huge variety of crystals, gems, rocks, stones, and fossils. There are also some incense, herb bundles, and books. I have gotten some amazing crystals from Lotus. I have two necklaces that are on silver chains I got from Lotus. The chains are high quality and the crystals are amazing. The atmosphere is warm, relaxing and peaceful. There is friendly staff members who provide great customer service. The crystals are priced well and worth the value that you pay. read more

Lotus is a very interesting store. You can find crystals, bamboo plants, Buddhas, and Tibetan prayer flags. It smells amazing and the people who work there are super nice. My boyfriend took me because he knew I wanted to buy some prayer flags to decorate my apartment. My BF used to work at the factory outlet mall so he actually knows the people who work there. It was a nice friendly environment and they have alot of neat things there. I plan on going back there that is for sure. Now do not get me wrong, I'm not a space cadet and I do not believe in alot of the things there (like crystals or things like that) I just find the store to be refreshing, since I now live in Utah and everything is so WHITE here. I'm used to an Urban environment of the SF Bay Area... So finding a store that is on a different wave length from Mormon Country... its just a little refreshing. read more

I come here all the time, there always getting new products in and the owner is super friendly. There aren't many shops like this in the salt lake valley, so it's really great to be able to go there. I buy alot of stones here as well as some jewelry and their prices are pretty good here . We love this place so much. When we are in the draper area this is a must stop. They have an excellent selection of cheap rocks for the kids and really nice stuff for the adults behind the counter.
