When that got settled, Ryan sent in another team to do the restoration which included new carpet padding, stretching & repairing the carpet, installing new drywall, patching the holes from where the heating machines had to go into the wall, painting (they went to Home Depot and did color matching), and shampooing the carpet. Based on his recommendation during the estimate, I paid about $200 to have an electrical outlet relocated before the radon system was installed. The outlet ended up not being needed at all because the fan was installed in a completely different location. Even the technician suggested the original assessment was incorrect. When I brought this up, I wasn't asking to be reimbursed for the full amount. I simply requested a small $50 credit as a goodwill gesture. Justin refused. No apology, no accountability, and no effort to make things right after his recommendation caused me to spend money unnecessarily. Anyone can make a mistake. What separates good companies from bad ones is how they handle it. My experience was that once the contract was signed, customer satisfaction was no longer a priority. I won't be using this company again, and I wouldn't recommend them to friends or neighbors.

Then, they removed 80% of the house's drywall, it's about a 3200 square-foot house-in one weekend. That's right, two days. Not even two full days-they were finished by Sunday early afternoon. That wasn't even the most amazing thing-they mopped and vacuumed. By the time we came in, the place was spotless. Cleaner than before they came in. The owner Miguel takes a lot of pride in his work. You can see it in his face when he shows you around afterwards-he is good, and is proud of that! Even our general contractor was floored by Miguel's company's performance. The final thing I will add-we had quotes from three different companies, and Miguel's was the lowest. By FAR the lowest- 1/3 of the highest bid. Even though his bid was the lowest-he promised the most work, even hand polishing the concrete. Promised-and then he delivered. We have two more rooms that need the drywall removed-but those will be later in the renovation. We will only call Miguel for those- no need to seek anybody else. If you are still reading this-trust me. Give him a try, you won't be disappointed.

Before purchasing the property I had called to get a rough estimate of the cost from these folks. They answered all my questions and were super friendly. Upon purchasing he house I called back told them the exact address and they told me that they had reviewed the property months earlier for another perspective buyer. Jim and jimmy showed up and provided me with the comprehensive report of the property that the previous guy had paid for, a super nice and super honest thing to do. Eddie showed up, did the work in the exact time quoted, and left my house cleaner than I gave it to them. They were not the cheapest, but If I had to do it again there is no question who I would use.
