In February of 24' I was given an appointment for dental work (fillings) to be done in early January of 25' . Strange ,right? So I called 1/3/25 and left a message about confirming my appointment. I did not receive callback. Today,1/7/25 I called and actually was able to speak to someone. They kindly told me they had sent me a text message in December of 24' advising THEY had cancelled my appointment. A snicker and a big F.Y. is what I fely coming over the phone line. What a load of horse crap! Advantage my @ss! These people SUCK! I should have had the fillings placed where I had my denture re made, after Advantage couldn't get it correct. My bad! I'd leave 0 stars if I could. It is impossible to schedule cleanings on the recommended schedule.. The cleaning schedule available almost once a year, even if you need speciality care. They tell you appointments are scheduled but then the appointments just disappear. The receptionists / front desk employees are unable to give you explanations as to what has happened. I was fine using this dental office due to convenience but the lack of ability to get any information or schedule any appointments is complete BS. The Boardman office is better, and super friendly - the only issue is they don't have any dentists on staff. read more

The receptionist or whoever quotes bills is trained to upsell... this company plays dumb when you call the manager even asking for explanations. They have no idea how real business is done. upsell upsell upsell, get you in the office then charges you some more! This clinic is rude and they won't listen to you at all I had an appt where I was going to be a few min late and I tried to call but couldn't get through and I drove an hour and approx 15 min and they told me I had to reschedule it even though I tried to call them this is absolutely rediculous read more

I did NOT like this dental office I've been trying to get a appointment for over a month now and I can't even get someone to answer the phone, don't go here. They should be more professional and always make sure their phones are answered I called four times in a row and didn't get even a call back. Very unprofessional!!!!! read more

Dentist is so overbooked that it is 3 to 4 months out between visits. Unacceptable. Got myself a new dentist.

Zero star rating. I first saw Advantage before COVID hit. They gave me a plan of care, to pull all 21 of my teeth at once, and instead of gauze, slap the dentures into my mouth and call it good. Sounds barbaric, but I just wanted it done. I set up my next appointment, then the pandemic started, and my appointment was cancelled by advantage. With 21 teeth all but 4 broken off at the gum line, I had some abscesses, made emergency appointments to take care of the abscesses, they were cancelled. At that point advantage in Boardman scheduled an appointment, a ght in in Boardman where 4 of my bad teeth were pulled with excellent service and care in Boardman. However they said that I would have to go back to the Hermiston office for the rest of the work. I made appoint after appointment after appointment at Hermiston office only to have all appointments (4) cancelled the day beforehand. So I waited until the pandemic slowed down and attempted to make an appointment by calling, but they no longer answer the phones in person, so I left message after message saying that I NEEDED to have the work done, as my digestion was becoming VERY BAD because I have almost 0 teeth to chew anything, and they were abcess, after abcess. I called and left message after message for them to call me back to set up appointments to resume my dental work, and to this day they have not returned ANY of my calls. I've left probably 15 messages with ZERO calls back. Very unprofessional, considering my health is declining rapidly due to not being able to chew my food whatsoever. I've been trying to get advantage to fix my teeth since 2019, and all I get is cancelled appointments, and zero of many calls returned. This place is ridiculous when it comes to every aspect of my dental care(or lack thereof). I would not recommend them to ANYONE. THEY COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS, AT LEAST WHEN OT COMES TO MYSELF AND MY DENTAL CARE! They have not even acted like they wanted to help me in the slightest, a terrible office in my opinion. Hopefully I am the only one they treat like this, but I highly doubt it. I went here for 2 months to get ready to have my lower teeth pulled. That happened May 29, 2019. I am still having issues with bone spurs, and can not wear my lower dentures, which do not fit. First Dr Sharon assumed I was on state insurance and started to explain what they don't pay for. I said I have a job with insurance thank you. This is when the nurse popped up with, but you maxed it out with your extractions. The dr then goes on to tell me my upper gums don't look sore, and I explained that was because they were done 8-9 years ago, refitted 5 years ago. I only had my lowers done. Then he tells me they can fix my bone spurs with a little surgery. I HAVE AT LEAST 6!! Then he says, these teeth are huge, we have to fill them with a rubbery substance (not exact words) and it takes about 8-9 minutes to set up. Then I'll cut off the excess, and they should fit for a couple months. That will be 350.00. Excuse me?? We were led to believe that service was included in the 3000.00 we already paid. No. Ok, My husband has the medical card we use to pay for things at his work. After we're done I'll go get it and come back and pay. Nope. But we have an appt at 2:00 today. That way you can get the card and pay when services rendered. I thought you had time now?? We do, but you don't have your card to pay with. At that point I walked out. This is bologna and they are terrible providers. They have horrible customer service. read more

HORRIBLE. The only people that are nice, caring and competent are the dental assistants. If you want to be treated with respect and caring concern AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. You will not get the care you deserve. Even the dentist was rude and shamed me for not getting 2 crowns that I could not afford. I want in for an infection and was given antibiotics and an appointment for and URGENTLY needed root canal 3 MONTHS IN THE FUTURE. I expressed my concern at having to wait so long and was told that I was on a cancellation list so "it should be sooner than that". Fast forward a month later, the infection started again. I called the office and the receptionist took a detailed message and assured me that she would talk to the dentist about giving me more antibiotics and call me back. She never did. I ended up going to urgent care because of it. Fast forward another month and a half and the infection was coming back. I again called the office, knowing that they will not be able to do my root canal if there is an infection and my appointment was in a week. Then I was told that I did not have an appointment for a root canal, I had an appointment for fillings. Excuse me what??? "So you are telling me that I came in for this tooth problem and you scheduled me for filings?".... The receptionist did not even respond she just put me on hold without a single word....RUDE. AND I was left on hold for 13 minutes before she came back on and said "we can get you in but not until January.....this is November....I told her this would not work for me. I already waited 3 months. She cut me off and put me on hold again with out asking me to hold. She came back on and offered me an appointment a month away. I asked to speak to the manager and was put on eternal hold.....after 10 minutes I hung up. I called a new dentist Dr. Larson and they got me scheduled for a new patient appointment 7 days out. I called back and cancelled my appointment and told them I was transferring care. Also they are going to have to redo the fillings that were previously done at Advantage less than a year ago because they were not done correctly.......BAD BAD BAD customer service and BAD patient care! read more
