Several months after my treatment, I was contacted and told that my insurance had denied the claim and that I now owed over $1,200 in additional charges, on top of the $700 I had already paid as a copay. After investigating with my insurance carrier, I learned that the denial occurred because the office failed to obtain a required prior authorization. Under the provider's contract with my insurance, for the procedure I received, my patient responsibility was $0. In other words, I did not legally or contractually owe anything beyond what insurance covered. Despite this, the office aggressively attempted to collect additional payment from me. Because my patient responsibility was zero, the $700 I paid was an overpayment that was only refunded after continued dispute. According to my insurance carrier, these collection attempts constituted a violation of the provider's contract. It was deeply troubling to be pressured to pay for a mistake that was not mine. I carry insurance specifically to avoid situations like this, and it is unacceptable for a provider to shift their administrative errors onto patients. While the clinical care was fine, I cannot recommend this office due to its handling of billing issues. Patients should be able to trust that insurance is processed correctly and that they will not be pressured into paying charges they do not owe.

I have had numerous root canals done in PNW large cities and Dr. Bolles ranks on the top! Selecting the Best endodontist is important for everyone, since we all want to be able to save our teeth and have them for the rest of our lives if at all possible. What I truly respected about Dr. Bolles is that he explained up- front that my tooth could be cracked and the only way he would know for sure is to go inside and look at the tooth canal with his operating microscope. This microscope greatly enhance his ability to view the tiniest details inside, and because of his expertise in diagnosis and treatment he was able to save my tooth. Selecting the right endodontist I feel is so important. My selection is based on 4 things: the doctor's education and the schools he attended for his specialty---all were excellent; his staff has experience, and most of all a caring attitude; his dental equipment is state-of-the-art, and his price is fair and reasonable--please compare I think you will surprised with the savings. Just recently received my first root canal with Dr. Bolles and was totally pleased, and tomorrow my second one will be done. Always getting the numbing injection is the hardest part, but Susan allowed the numbing gel to stay on the injection site by leaving the long Q-tip on for a while---I was able to hold it right where I needed to, for me pain is no gain. As you can probably tell I am beyond pleased by the whole experience!

Upon tepidly entering his office at different times , we were greeted by an exceptional office manager followed shortly by meeting the dental assistant and then Dr. Murdoch. Dr. Murdoch's exam was with the most thorough explanations and dental plan exceeding any past experience with a dentist. The following day a filling was completed where he and his dental assistant worked in harmony without words. Excellent experience. They know what they are doing.
