These are the dentist that actually make real dentist look bad. These dentists are the reason people don't go to the dentist and why there is a stigma and a stereotype. This office right here. I had been having a dental infection for THREE YEARS on and off. I broke down in the ER weeks ago and called this office and was told by the call center supervisor Julie to go to the ER in Richland and that there was a dental surgeon that contracted with them that could help me. I went to the ER and they looked at me like I was stupid because it was a stupid thing to do because it's not true. They sent me away and then I went back to the ER later that night because I'm in pain. Horrible pain that makes me want to end my life. Horrible pain that I have been dealing with for three f****** years. So would emergency consultation was scheduled for Monday morning and I was told that I did not have to have anybody with me in that I could be dropped off. I show up. All of a sudden one thing can't happen. And then another thing can't happen. And then it turns out someone was actually supposed to stay with me and not drop me off. It is my emergency but I am working with the schedule of my ride. What is so hard to understand or consider around that? And why is that the thing that prevented my care? Not having someone with me WHEN YOU YOURSELF SAID THAT I COULD BE DROPPED OFF. IF YOU HAD TOLD ME AT THE ER THAT I NEEDED SOMEONE WITH ME THEN THAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED BUT YOU SAID I COULD BE DROPPED OFF AND THEN YOU TURNED ME AWAY BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE SOMEONE WITH ME AND YOU DID NOT ALLOW ME TO RESCHEDULE. My friends have a life, like everyone else, and this is not their emergency. The earliest I could reschedule to fit in a time where my friend could be with me was Friday. Dr Cooper I think it is told me that this is an emergency and it needs to happen that day and if it's not happening then it's not going to happen. And doctor, YOU may not think that I am important enough to reschedule for but my friends do think that I am important enough to schedule around. What you think of my worth does not define who I am as a person and I think that you are a worthless dentist and doctor for that reasoning. You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope you are. I pray that you are. Cuz then at least, maybe there's some humanity in you? Maybe. I have fantasized everyday about throwing myself off the blue bridge because I am still in pain. After you turned me away, after you refuse to see me because I left two negative reviews because you turned me away while I was in emergency dental pain, yeah I do think of you when I fantasize about throwing myself off the damn bridge because I felt so f****** worthless and small when I left your office. You showed me that my pain and my trauma is completely insignificant. So why would anybody care. I'm sure you're going to laugh when you read this but I did have to go get help so that I didn't end my f****** life over this. You are dirty for that. Dr. Week and the entire team are so great. From the moment you walk through the front door, the time in the chair, to when you leave; you find the office and staff are so warm and pleasant. And they are all so good and obviously well trained and knowledgeable too. Dr. Week is a great orthodontist, very kind, and a terrific personality. From the front office to all the assistants, most of whom I have gotten to know so well since I have been going (Stacy, Jody, Sara, Maddie, Coletta, Karen, Anna, and Tiffanie) are all just wonderful. So nice and really fun to be around. I don't mind going to my appointments at all, and actually enjoy my time with them. But don't just take my word for it...go see them yourself. You won't be disappointed. As a side note, if you are concerned about how braces might look; my experience is I don't think people even notice. What I mean is that braces don't "stand out" like one might feel they would. So don't let that thought prevent you from a great smile. And really, contrary to stories you may have heard, braces are not bad at all. :D

The dentist and hygienists are great at interpreting English when you try to speak while numbed up and have your mouth stuffed with cotton balls and tools. I am happy to have found a dentist where I feel comfortable, and I feel like they care and do a great, thorough job. The lobby is very nice, albeit fairly small, and from some rooms you can see the fountain with duck decoys (supposed to keep the ducks away?). I saw a mallard in there today.

For whatever…read morereason the past few years it's been really hard for me to get an appointment with him specifically. Because I really needed an appointment, I agreed to see Dr. Rhoten. Dr. Rhoten is fine for regular dental business, but I would advise against using him for a occlusal guard. I had regular jaw pain before, but I was in life altering chronic pain for months while trying out the guard and getting adjustments. Even though I shelled out hundreds on the piece I had to start using my old retainer piece just to function. He's a fine person and regular Dr., but please use caution in regard to jaw issues. This experience was very upsetting and I will not be returning because of it.
