I have an aversion to dentists from poor treatment as a child but I never worry when I go to Dr. Rietz' office. They are patient first and it shows. They communicate throughout treatment so there is no mystery what's going on. Some of my dental care has been a challenge but they always have an answer. I'm a patient for life.

I wholeheartedly understood that it would take a few months to be seen by their "family doctors", but when I was told they only had 3 available doctors taking new patients I was perfectly fine with the schedule to wait. Then the receptionist tells me which doctor I wanted and mentioned Dr. Wagner as a first option so I opt that my two kids and I be seen by Dr. Wagner. Then here's the catch: the receptionist asks you a bunch of MEDICAL questions and current meds you're on and Dr. Wagner will then "DECIDE" if he will see us?! WHAT IN THE HEALTH CARE WORLD?! I was shocked by her statement and received a call two days later saying that Dr. Wagner decline to "care" or see my kids and I. BRAVO, DR. WAGNER! I bet denying and getting to pick and chose who you want to see makes you feel better about yourself as a practicing doctor who took the Hippocratic oath LIKE ALL DOCTORS DO and now that you're a "big time Dr" in a small town that oath DOES NOT apply to you. This clinic and how they run is truly unbelievable! They called me a few days later REPEATEDLY to let me know another available doctor in their clinic is willing to see me and my children. YEAH.....NO! You may think you are the "it" clinic in WW, but I managed to get myself and my children a good family doctor in WW and could care less about you offering up your next doctor. Walla Walla clinic I truly appreciate the laughs. Now from what I'm reading, Dr. Wagner isn't that great of a doctor anyway so, thank you for denying myself and my two children care! The grass IS IN FACT greener on the other side, folks! She recommended and assisted in the referral to Dr. Arthur Giebel who was also amazing. Yesterday was mom's second and final post-surgery follow-up with Dr. Ferguson and she confirmed that everything is right on tract. Mom has much better vision and no longer needs glasses. But just as important, she is very comfortable and confident in Dr. Ferguson's care. And as the son who lives 4 hours away, I couldn't be happier.

Apparently, Vision Source decided to cancel my appointment without talking to me. Preferring to tell me in person that I am too poor to be seen there. Was it fun to try to humiliate me in person with a haughty attitude when I asked why I couldn't just pay cash for my appointment? I was also refused the possibility of rescheduling my appointment, because "their system was down." What an incredibly condescending and horrible experience. I was just trying to get my eyes examined so I could have surgery. I was the victim of extreme domestic violence- I have a complicated case and partial blindness. It's hard to get up the courage to go to an eye doctor to have my trauma addressed. Prepare to be humiliated and treated poorly by office staff if you have had any domestic violence related injury. I walked out of that office bawling, in tears, after finding out that my appointment had been cancelled. What a horrific experience.

I had some hearing aids refurbished. I was charged $5000, more than the hearing aids cost new. I…read morewas told that is "what it cost". My last visit, I asked to skip one service as my primary care provider had just performed that service the previous week. They did skip that service but I was charged for that service anyway- Was that part of the visit though it is itemized and charged individually? Now I am told that since the hearing aids are more than 5 years old, they can not continue to clean and check the hearing aids- they are too old- I must buy new hearing aids. They did say that they would "teach me to clean and check them myself". If I could learn to "clean and check them myself", why was I not taught this previously rather than requiring me to come in every 3-4 months for checks that were an out of pocket expense, not covered by insurance? I had asked if there was another solution and was told they had to to the checks. I question the ethics of not teaching folks to do things they could apparently do for themselves - is this to increase billing? I also question forcing folks to buy new equipment because of elapsed time rather than product performance- stated reason for forcing the purchase of new equipment "because of liability"
