We loved spending time on the lanai every morning and winding down with sunset views in the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the full laundry room was super convenient for our beach days. The kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed the easy walk to the lagoons--plus the garage was stocked with beach chairs, a cooler, and a wagon. It was great being so close to restaurants, golf, and the marina for snorkeling. The location felt peaceful and secure, but it was still easy to get to Honolulu and Waikiki for day trips. This place really made our Oahu vacation special. Highly recommend for families!

This hotel is the perfect storm of laziness, neglect, and false advertising. From the moment I…read morestepped in, I could feel my standards lowering themselves out of self-defense. The lobby looks like it hasn't been updated since flip phones were cool, and the couch had so many stains, it looked like it belonged on a forensic files episode. The staff? Let's just say, I've seen vending machines with more personality and better customer service. I asked a simple question at check-in and got hit with a blank stare, a sigh, and a whole lot of attitude--like I was interrupting their vacation. I finally get my key card, go up to the room, and... yikes. First red flag? The door took three tries to open because the card reader looked like it had been scratched by a raccoon and half-glued back together with Elmer's. I walk in, and the vibe is immediate: "You're not supposed to be comfortable here." The room smelled like dust, old socks, and broken promises. The carpet? It had that crunchy feeling--like nobody had vacuumed since the last eclipse. The bed was a joke. Sinks in the middle, squeaks like a haunted rocking chair, and the pillows were so flat I folded one in half and it disappeared. I wouldn't even let a coat rest on those things. Tried to relax, turn on the TV--and surprise--it only has five working channels. One of them is just static, one is the hotel welcome screen that loops every 12 seconds, and the rest are news from three time zones away. I thought I was in a time machine, not a hotel. The bathroom? Not gross, but barely functioning. The water pressure was so weak I thought the shower was just giving up on life. The towels were scratchier than a wool sweater made of sandpaper, and one had a weird smell like it was dried in a basement. Also, who uses bar soap the size of a Tic Tac and expects that to count as "amenities"? Walls? Thin as paper. I could hear the guy in the next room breathing. I knew his whole Spotify playlist. I was practically a guest in his room too. And let's talk about the Wi-Fi, because this part made me want to walk out the front door and sleep in my car. It was slower than dial-up. I tried loading a webpage and had enough time to think about my life choices, stretch, and age five years. I ended up using my phone data just to open an email. Look, this hotel isn't scary. It's not filthy. It's just sad. Tired. Worn out. The kind of place you book because you're desperate, and then immediately regret because you feel like the building is also trying to quit. Honestly? I've had better nights sleeping on a school bus during a field trip. And at least back then, nobody was pretending it was a "3-star experience." I'd rate zero stars if I could

DISGUSTING HOTEL and AREA! Hotel Santo Tomas is NOT a 3-star…read morehotel by any stretch of the imagination, it is 1.5 stars AT BEST. It is located in a shanty and very dangerous part of town. Because of that, the hotel's main entrance is heavily gated with thick metal bars all the way to the roof and looks like a jail. This of course is not shown in any of its advertising photos. I have NEVER seen nor heard of a 3-star hotel (or any hotel) with metal bars in its entrance The room we stayed in, although an upgrade from economy rooms, was also unacceptable: Deeply scratched walls, dirty worn out carpets, dust everywhere, broken inside door-latch, totally broken door handle that fell off, huge stains on its curtains and chair, and fleas! This was the only room in the hotel with air-conditioning, although the hotel is located in the Tropics. Its manager Marcos is not a person to be trusted. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should anyone stay in that area and especially in this "hotel" Santo Tomas. I had to get my money back from the credit card for the booking because Marcos did not allow us to stay after I had complained about the hotel even though we had already paid for the room. I want to write much more sharp words and in great detail about this "hotel", but unfortunately the Search Engine does not allow me.

Most landlords don't know what they're doing, especially when it comes to landlord/tenant laws…read more This is where a good property manager comes into play. Many landlords won't hire a property manager because it takes money from the bottom line. But I will tell you, it can be the best money ever spent. A good property manager will SAVE you money, time, energy, hassles....the list goes on. And then there are good and bad property managers. Rob is one of the GOOD ones. If you have a property that you are renting or wanting to rent out, look no further and hire Rob as your property manager. He is fair, honest, quick to respond and looks to make sure both the landlord and the tenant are taken care of fairly and completely. Trust me, you're gonna want Rob. You can thank me later.

My family were renters in a home in Concord through Robert Miller and received exceptional service…read moreand meticulous handling of our home as a property manager. Everything was fine until the homeowner of our rental decided to fire Robert as property managers and manage the home themselves. This is where living in our Woodcrest Drive home became a huge nightmare. At month two, we started hearing running water in the home after we stopped using any water. I found water was leaking under the house and notified the owner (now property managing) they needed to hire a plumber. The next 4 days the owner had 5 plumbing companies come out to do estimates until they found a price they liked. The owner then changed their mindset into the tenant is responsible for all repairs, this was a bill for $900. After another hellish week of me arguing with the owner of who needs to pay the plumber, the owner caved paid the bill. At month six, our toilets clogged and started backing up into our showers. I notified the owner and they stated all clogs are the tenants responsibility. I rented a drain auger and tried to clear it myself. I notified the owner it was uncloggable. The owner stood firm and stated I would be breaching my lease contract if I failed to maintain the home. I reached out to Robert asking for advice. Even though he was no longer our property management he stepped in and gave guidance. I notified Concord Code Enforcement. And after 13 days of no toilets and showers the city of concord notified the owner is responsible for fixing out unhabitable home. The plumber came and fixed the issue for $700 billed to the owner. Six months into our one year lease we knew we needed to leave this home. This wasn't the last of the issues with our rental the owner failed to remedy. Ex: fence falling down, trees touching power lines, blinds breaking, bugs coming through the attic, taking our deposit, etc. When it came to leaving the home at the end of our lease. Robert happily gave our family rental refferal, answered phone calls as our property manager, and gave us a great review as rental tenants all the way till we got into our current home. This was many months of no longer being our property manager Robert helped us with our home owner and helped us secure a new home. Above and beyond the standards for a property management company. Robert is a great person to have on your side and our new friend in the city of Concord.
