The issue is he wanted me to pay 1/2 the cost of the job the following morning. He had never mentioned this before & told me this at 8pm the night before. Btw California only requires you put down 10% or $1,000, whichever is less. The next morning I didn't feel ok with paying half the costs for only having the demo started. When I told him this his only response was "we'll figure it out", so I decided against the job being done. Fast forward a week & today the city left me a notice that somebody had reported me for not having a fence around my pool.....hmmm I wonder who that could've been? I've lived here over 20 yrs & never had anyone come over for this before & have no issues with my neighbors on either side? Btw no one has been in my back yard recently except for this guy. Beware of doing business with someone like this who's vindictive for questioning his business practices.

He called his boss (Darin) to tell the news, and then they talked pricing. He then got off the phone trying to sell me the news that this was going to be a large savings, but when it got down to the estimate, it was only a $55 savings from the entire cost of the first company. I pointed that out and then showed him the estimate and price of his competitor, as asked. He realized then that he should have cut back on his commission because I knew I was being taken advantage of. He tried sliding the price back, but by this point, I felt zero trust or confidence in their job or integrity.

I met Jassen, the owner, at a home and garden show in Fresno. He was very easy to talk to and had…read moremany safety options to choose from for my new pool build. Ultimately I decided to go with the automatic cover and couldn't be happier. While my pool was being built, Jassen was always great scheduling with the contractor and get his portion of the work done on time. His crew was friendly and very clean. They don't leave trash laying around like many of the pool sub contractors. My cover is amazing. It keeps my pool very clean from debris so I don't have to run the filter all that much, saving me money! I can easily walk on the cover when it's closed, which makes me very comfortable knowing if my daughter fell on it I don't have to worry. With a simple code I can open and closed the cover from a controller on my back patio. The investment was well worth it. I'll be able to swim sooner because the water will keep warm at night with the cover on, and I'll be able to enjoy the pool longer throughout the year. Additionally, because the cover blocks all sunlight, there is no algae growth before algae needs sunlight to grow! And lastly, if I have any problems, I know Jassen is willing to answer my call and help me out.
