I didn't think it was possible to remove the dirt and mysterious grime on the carpets, and resigned myself to replacing them. I contacted Bonnie at Advanced Systems Carpet Cleaning because of their wonderful reviews and I can say it was absolutely the right choice. I was scheduled immediately and Bonnie and her son literally performed magic, doing a deep cleaning of the damaged areas. I was stunned that they were able to get our carpets back to pristine, beautiful condition. Bonnie is super responsive, easy to work with, fairly priced and a perfectionist about her work. I am ecstatic over the results. Later had them do a clean, color and protectant seal of all of our 1st floor tile. The results were gorgeous and beyond my expectations. No more babying the tile or wasting time doing backbreaking grout scrubbing. Best decision ever. I am looking forward to having Bonnie and her team do the rest of our floors. Thank you for everything!

EDIT: Although I did not receive a call, email or text from a manager, we did get a text message…read morethis morning (7-21-26) that someone would be out between 8 am and noon. Shortly after Brandon showed up. He did an AMAZING job on our carpet. He genuinely cared, was sorry about the experience we had the day before and did an outstanding job. I was extremely impressed with his friendly personality, caring nature, and professionalism. I do appreciate they took care of this and it is unfortunate that I had to lose 2 days getting 1 room of carpet cleaned and the aggravation accompanying it. However, in the end, they did come through. If you are going to use them make sure you ask for Brandon. He is awesome!!!! I never write a review unless I first reach out to the company to try to resolve this. However, I feel it is necessary to warn others. For many years I used a different and amazing carpet cleaning company. When they left, it looked like brand new carpet! My boyfriend wanted to try Stanley Steemer, so I reluctantly agreed to it. According to reviews, they did warn about how they will try to upsell you. Which of course he did within the first 5 minutes of arriving. I firmly said no I only want what I had scheduled for. I have 2 cameras in the room he was cleaning the carpet in. I was watching him the entire time and saw what he did or did not do. He did not pretreat any stains (their customer service rep said they are supposed to), and missed many spots. When he was finished which was about 20 minutes later I went to see the carpet and it looked terrible. I pointed things out to him and he got very defensive. I told him the previous carpet cleaning company always had the carpets look beautiful and I couldn't understand why ours did not remotely look like that. Instead of being professional and working on it some more so we were satisfied with it, he got very combative and confrontational. Almost to the point of scary. It just seemed like he wanted to get in and out of here and go home. I contacted customer service and spoke with an amazing and wonderful rep named Debbie. She went above and beyond and said she reached out to his manager and I should be expecting a call back. Debbie even went as far as calling me at 7:30 pm tonight to see if he called. I did not receive any call, email, text, nothing. I have pictures of how terrible my carpet looks and video of how he spoke to me. As of right now, 6 hours later our carpet is still soaking wet. So I don't know if he didn't suck up enough water or what. I would never recommend this company EVER! Paid $205 for 1 bedroom carpet and a hallway runner. And now have to call the previous and awesome carpet cleaning company to redo it.E

"Gimme three steps, gimme three steps, mister Gimme three…read moresteps towards the door?" (Lynyrd Skynyrd) After we had our hardwood floors and steps sanded and refinished, we decided to pretty up those steps with a carpet runner, which explains why we visited Galaxy Discount Carpet Store today. That decision ended up being a FIVE STAR experience. Their two floor showroom is just incredible! Sample boards, rolls stacked on the floor in rows, area rugs hanging from the ceiling, gorgeous stuff everywhere. We met with Charlie and explained to him what we were looking for. He said that staircase runners can either be pre-manufactured in big rolls, or custom cut from carpeting meant for rooms. We knew we wanted a runner in some shade of gray to complement our wall color, and decided on a carpet runner to be cut from a big grayish roll and then finished with black binding along the edges, to complement the black stair rail and contrast with the white stair risers. It was installed 72 hours later, and that was pretty amazing in it's own right. Communication with Galaxy was great. Charlie was a dream to work with, the installers called us the day before install to confirm the date and time window, and the van with two workers arrived as scheduled mid-afternoon and did a neat professional job on the install. Charlie's price was $140 less than one we had from a flooring company out in our neck of the woods, and the carpet quality was better at Galaxy. Everything went well, and the stairs look great!
