Shawn was able to find, pick up, and deliver all the pieces I needed at a great price. This level of service went far above my expectations. I highly recomend The Cabinet Gallery.

We give Tony the highest marks possible for a general contractor. He replaced a large, wooden…read moresliding glass door on the second floor of our 100 year old Spanish style house, replaced rotted wood around a window on the second floor, repaired a leaking wall above a window on the second floor and installed awnings over windows on the first floor. He painted the area around the work, inside and out, so that there was no evidence that any changes to the house had been made. All the work was done to code, and the Beverly Hills inspectors said the work was very well done. He is a true Renaissance Man, able to replace, repair or construct anything. He brought assistants and whatever equipment (including scaffolding) was needed. He always texted to let us know his schedule. His estimates were thorough and easy to understand. If there were extra fees required because of unforeseen circumstances (which frequently happens when walls are opened) he explained them and submitted written change orders for work that was agreed upon. If we need any work done in the future we will definitely contact Tony. We have worked with many contractors previously and none have been as professional, competent or courteous as he is. Four aces and five stars for Tony.

At 10:30 a new dishwasher was delivered to be installed by the place where it was purchased. I sure wish I was smart enough to read these reviews before I hired him. Those 1 and 2 star reviews…read moresaid it all. I found him rude, condescending, arrogant and certainly not forthcoming in his pricing. I should have asked all those questions like, how much, how many men, have you done this before, references please? But I didn't. When I approached him on this project last year, he said he could do the job, that in fact he could do anything. I sent him photos and description of the item to review then I asked him to walk the job to be sure the project was feasible. He refused saying as long as it fits it will be good. *****I got several estimates, all around the same, 2 men, 4-5 hours and 5 to $600. He was charming and self confident.. 1st red flag! When I asked if he could pick up and deliver the item from Costco he said no problem. I offered to pay for his trip and again he said "that's Ok" I live right there, which implied to me "no fee". No other contractor has ever charged me to pick up things that I can't. He then sent his partner ( brother) to install the item. Later he showed up and was very testy with his brother/partner/hire. Stephan was verbally annoyed that he had to stay and help him. It was clearly a 2 man job from beginning to end but after an hour he left his brother to do it alone saying to me "you don't want to pay 2 men, do you? He never made clear that 2 men would be double the price. But after listening to his brother cough every 5 minutes, get increasing slower and weaker, I called Stephan to tell him. He was so rude that he said if I didn't like it to get someone else to finish the job. He tried to gaslight me into believing I was hearing and seeing things. After which he said his brother was worse yesterday. Who puts an obviously ill man on a job clearly meant for two people? Actually Stepan's personality changes concerned me. He agreed to come back the next day by himself to finish the job. Then presented me with the bill. I paid it only under duress because I wanted him out of my home. He said he wouldn't charge me for his brother's time ( lack) but he charged $310 for delivery. ( all other estimates I received were under $100. ) . Then he added an extra hour from the delivery charge to the (2) hours he said he was here helping his brother. Again it is my fault for not getting an itemized estimate of charges ( which he would have known if he actually had done the same job in the past), How many people, their fee, extra fees, and time? No, he was not forthcoming in his pricing. But again, my fault for not asking but .......So if you are thinking of hiring him get everything in writing and make him commit to what he says because I found that his memory will change. ***** After installing the posts and anchoring them, he said to me " I can't guarantee the posts will stay because they are anchored into pavers and the pavers will come up in an earthquake. WOW. If only he wasn't so arrogant about being able to do anything and just walked the job before hand......
