However, since seeing him in his office and the last two visits with PA Steiner, my opinion has completely changed on these guys. First off I'll say, I will never go back here and I don't recommend them. As pulmonary doctors, having asthma, a PFT test should be done, but that's not the biggest issue. I have a history of pneumonia in my right lung along with other issues. The last time I saw PA Steiner, I was extremely sick with pneumonia and other issues. He did absolutely nothing for me. Didn't offer any medications, no advice, nothing. I fortunately decided to go to pulmonary at the VA. She immediately ran a boat load of blood tests, ordered a CT Scan and a PFT initially which after that one a more advanced one. So this is why I'm not recommending these guys.... The blood work came back showing issues, the CT of my lungs came back showing issues, I'm waiting for the second PFT. These guys are Intensive and Pulmonary and did absolutely nothing for me or made any attempt to diagnose me. Beware if you have serious pulmonary issues. I should not have to request or demand for them to do their job. I'll stick with the VA as these guys did not want to do anything to help me or earn my business or recommendation.

When we first began to see this doctor a few months ago, they knew nothing about the medication my daughter was already getting as an injection (Ilaris) every month. Dr. Yung rolls in every 3 months and asks my daughter if she has any pain. No thorough examination. The charges my insurance $60. more dollars on top of the $30. co-pay for "seeing the doctor." Her other doctor (before she aged out) was Dr. Rob Lowe (I highly recommend!), who would do a thorough examination as it should be done, all the while asking if this or that was painful. Meanwhile, there are side effects of Ilaris that are never discussed with my daughter (like fluid around the heart). We are actively searching for another (better) doctor.

She was able to answer all of our questions with confidence and explained how their services are offered. She really sold us and was able to get me to sign up for the concierge service and it was the best decision I've made regarding my health. After speaking with Kathryn , I scheduled my appointment with Dr. Alfreda at the Henderson office. Stepping into their office isn't like a normal doctors facility--both locations are beautifully designed with a level of class that you aren't expecting but you quickly feel comfortable and at home. Dr. Alfreda is the first doctor in my adult life that I can have an appointment with and feel completely normal. He speaks to you as a human being, as a close friend or family member and you can tell that he cares about you. He's not a typical Doctor--he explains everything clearly and in everyday terms. He takes time to answer your questions and is able to offer a variety of solutions for the medical issue you're dealing with. From my first appointment until now, two years later, he hasn't changed one bit and he's continued to be the most amazing Doctor I've ever had. He truly cares and you'll be able to see this from the first time meeting with him. His staff--Ashley, Tiffany, Michelle and the others have been just as amazing as Dr. Alfreda and Kathryn. I've had some issues with traveling for work and needing their help and they've always come through to assist me. The last few weeks I've been very sick and Ashley and Michelle have made sure that I've had the things I need and have made sure that I'm okay. Katherine has clearly taken her time to make the hiring decisions for this office and it's evident. There has been two or three times that we've had a breakdown in communication but it's always been quickly resolved. I can't say enough about Health4Life, Dr. Alfreda, Kathryn and their entire team. I have no plans to leave his office because of the excellent care and service I get on each and every visit. Even when I haven't been the best patient or I've had to rush things because of schedule changes or things happen outside of my control with my work travel, they've not treated me any different. Trust me, if you're looking for a new healthcare provider, please give Katherine the opportunity to talk to you about the ways they can assist you. I had an emergency appendectomy a few weeks ago and luckily Dr Simon was the one on call so he…read moreperformed my surgery. My surgery ended up being at midnight so I didn't meet him until right before. As soon as I met him I knew I was in good hands. He was friendly and even joked a bit which I appreciated because it helped with my anxiety. Since my surgery was so late he told me that he wouldn't be seeing me before discharge which was fine given the late hour. However he met with my hubby after the surgery and explained how everything went which was well. I didn't get to the unit until 2 am just because it took awhile for me to wake up. I was discharged later that day after lunch. I scheduled a follow up for two weeks post op and that went well. He has a great bedside manner. His office was clean and the staff were all friendly. In fact, I made an appt for him to check out some vein issues I have. I'm glad he was the one on call that night! Highly recommend him!

Month ago I had 3 hernia's repaired by Dr. Simon. Delayed offering the review until I was fully…read morerecovered. The four incisions healed and the black and blue discoloration is gone. Pain lasted about a week, he prescribed meds that enabled me to be active almost immediately. The abdominal swelling was minimal. Discomfort a month later is very minimal. His office team is friendly and attentive. I hope I never have a hernia again; however, if I did I'd revisit Dr. Simon and I do recommend his hernia repair services.
