Dr. Economides did an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck and lipo) for me after losing 100+lbs through gastric bypass surgery. I was pretty nervous about the procedure and the recovery process, but he and his staff were SO great and supportive. Even little things like providing lots of bandages and cotton padding every time I went in for a check up, and prescribing sleep aids because it was difficult for me to sleep upright after surgery made me so happy I picked his office. The revision surgery experience with Dr. Economides and the staff at Advanced Plastic Surgery Center has been amazing. I wasn't expecting a whole lot after having bad experiences with two previous plastic surgeries as well as with plastic surgeons' offices in general. First off, the staff at other plastic surgery practices I've been to has mostly consisted of gaggles of inauthentic, overly friendly barbie dolls with robotic personalities, all of whom seem to do little more than hand out price estimate folders. The staff at Advanced Plastic Surgery Center were the complete opposite, and genuinely made me feel welcome from the beginning, instead of creeped out and uncomfortably. At my consultation, Alycia immediately made me feel comfortable with her great sense of humor, warm personality, and excellent folder handing out abilities. Gianna was always incredibly kind and is a very skilled nurse, which made me feel like I was in good hands at every appointment. I was also blown away by how friendly, laid back, and humble Dr. Economides was. Sadly, this is a rare combination of traits for a surgeon of any specialty, especially plastics. Unlike the previous plastic surgeons I saw, Dr. Economides made an effort to fully understand what my desired outcome was, and made me feel like my input mattered. By combining his surgical expertise with actual knowledge of my goal, he was able to achieve my desired result when other surgeons couldn't. I can honestly say that Dr. Economides is not only the best plastic surgeon, but best doctor of any specialty that I've ever been under the care of. What ultimately set this practice apart for me was everyone's willingness to go the extra mile for patients. I saw this firsthand when I experienced a post-op complication due to my plethora of other medical issues while Dr. Economides happened to be out of the area. Within minutes of calling the office, Alycia and Gianna arranged for Dr. Munasafi to see me later that day. After treating me, Dr. Munasafi went out of his way to ensure I got a same-day appointment with a specialist at VHC. As soon as Dr. Economides returned, Brittany called multiple hospitals and surgery centers to find an open OR slot. The entire time, Dr. Economides constantly checked on me, and directly answered any concerns I had no matter the time of day. Finally, Alycia went completely above and beyond for me more times than I can count throughout this whole ordeal. This guy tries to be a jack of all trades but he is a master of NONE. Nice personality but no real specialty. I had him address spider veins in leg and after several tries with the laser machine (which he didn't seem very confident in using) and hundreds of dollars later AND telling me not to worry - that it would clear up in 8 weeks - TWICE, they now look worse than when I went to him. Agree with previous poster - a hack. And PS. when you're making thousands off of your patients who private pay cosmetic work, you could at least validate the $5 parking - it's pretty cheap of him not to. read more

Don't let Dr. Economides touch you with any needle... lip injections were so incredibly uneven and lumpy. It has been months since I got them done by him and I still see the horrible effects he caused. Also asked for botox in the crowsfeet area, he didn't listen to me, and instead shot my whole forehead with botox. I couldn't even look upward there was so much botox and it made my eyes look so squinted, which was the exact opposite of what I wanted. read more

My experience with this practice was a few years ago but I was just reminded of it when I stumbled across a fraudulent bill that I received 10 months after my procedure. Dr. Munasifi's billing company attempted to get me to pay a balance far in excess of the agreed-upon payment in full that I made prior to my surgery. I challenged the bill and was told I didn't have to pay it after all, but a more gullible (and wealthy) patient might well have paid it when they were under no obligation to do so. This sort of thing is unfortunately all too common in the medical profession. As for Dr. Munasifi's skills as a surgeon, he made my broken nose straighter but the aesthetic results are pretty poor, and the tip of my nose is still somewhat numb after 3 years even though he said it would only take up to 18 months to regain full sensation. read more

After talking to Dr Munasifi I knew 5 minutes into the consultation he was the man to do my procedure, and I have been with him and WILL continue to be with him. He has done breast augmentation, eye lift, lower face lift and minor procedures in the 16 years I have been his patient. From start to finish I have had the best experience with Dr. Munasifi, Ms. Cami (patient coordinator) and the rest of the staff! I had a revision breast augmentation and a full tummy tuck. I decided to add the tummy tuck 5 days before the surgery and both the Dr. and surgery center were completely accommodating. Dr. Munasifi is so gentle during the surgery that you have minimal downtime. As long as you follow all pre and post-op instructions you will feel great after surgery. I had no pain and never had to take any pain medication besides Tylenol. Since the surgery, I have also gotten a facial and my first botox injections from PA Danielle (who is also very gentle). I live 1hr away but I plan to come here for everything in the future, completely worth it! I even have friends from different parts of the US that want to fly to Dr. Munasifi to have procedures done by him because of my experience and incredible heal time and results. read more
