I had seen other PTs for pelvic floor issues after my pregnancies and while those PTs were wonderful, I think Dr. Swapnali has been more effective in helping me target and correctly use muscles in my core and pelvic floor. I was a competitive swimmer for years, I've always seemed to be in good (even great!) shape, but for years I still suspected I wasn't using my core or pelvic floor correctly. Dr. Swapnali was careful and thorough in first working to isolate movements/muscles to make sure I was using the correct muscles and not compensating with with poor form/the wrong muscles. I'm sure Dr. Swapnali can explain it better than I can, but I was fascinated from the start, and noticed a difference from the first session. Dr. Swapnali has also been kind and easy to work with. She asks thoughtful questions about my performance/week, and I have been able to ask lots of questions during sessions. Furthermore, Dr. Savedra helped ease me into the experience, as I was afraid to have someone manipulating my spine, as I'd never had it done before. She explained everything to me very well and started me off with a variety of gentle techniques, always making me a partner in my care and always sensitive to what I was prepared to try. What I also appreciated about Dr. Savedra is the fact that she was interested in my overall health. There were many times that I discussed with her a particular health issue, only to find at my next visit that she had done further research about my concern and had information and/or books to suggest to me so that I could learn more about it for myself. The concierge service he tries his best to sell you presented in a way that would mimmic a used car salesman's pitch on a junk yard dud. He brings this up at the last part of your appointment and as soon as you tell him NO just the minimum he jumps up and takes off sending in someone else to finish up. Then the "scheduler" calls you and tells you that the next surgery appointment is 10 months out. And then here we go again.. They ask "well were you not told about the concierge service?" I told that person to take a hike. You have a choice for "expedited" surgery for either $7795.00 or $15995.00. This Goldberg is full of himself. You are left feeling lied to and taken advantage of after the appointment. Find another surgeon!!!! Save yourself the exposure to this ridiculous behavior and a waste of good time. Not to mention the waste of good oxygen. It took all of 5 minutes to find a very qualified surgeon that does the exact same thing and is a teaching surgeon as well.

They made me comfortable starting day one when I walked (hobbled) into the door. I had a total hip replacement and they worked with me on the goals I wanted to achieve. My brother tore both ligaments in both knees due to a fall and had to have them surgically repaired which left his legs unable to bend without therapy. Our goal is to get full range of motion back. This will be a difficult journey but we intend with the help of his Therapist to get back to normal activities. I will update as time goes by but we are off to a great start.
