    THIS WOMAN IS A MIRACLE WORKER!!! I bought a Bridesmaids…read moredress in February (while 5 months pregnant) for a wedding on Aug 30. Fast forward to 4 days ago, IT DIDNT FIT. Not even CLOSE. I brought it to the shop in a panic with another dress of the same material and color, and she was able to cut 5 inches off the old dress to add to the new dress, let out the hips and bust, and ITS PERFECT. You cant even tell its altered!!! Thank you, Jennifer's Tailor Shop, for working miracles and ensuring my place in my best friends wedding.

I brought 2 dresses in on 9/16 for an upcoming wedding. One needed to be hemmed the other needed about a 10 inch long straight line sewn to prevent a wardrobe malfunction in a halter style top. I was told that both garments would be ready on 9/30 and that it would cost $60. Okay. I arrive on 9/30 in the morning. Jennifer looks at me asks if I am here to pick up the 2 dresses. I reply that I am. She keeps telling me that she is sorry but they aren't done, she keeps showing me a bridesmaid dress that she is working on and complains that she has too many weddings to sew for and asks me to come back later that day at 1 PM to pick up my dresses. I inform her that I can't due to previous commitments and mentioned that I don't want her rushing because I want a nice job done. Jennifer tells me to come back on Tuesday and assures me they will be ready. I agree and tell Jennifer that I will be there early Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning arrives, I go there for 9:30 AM. The hours on the door state it is supposed to open at 9AM. It is closed. No signs of life whatsoever. I call the phone number to try to find out what is going on. No answer, answering machine, just nothing. As I am calling, an elderly gentleman arrived trying to pick up his garments. He just shrugged his shoulders, rolled his eyes and walked off. I went to do some shopping in the area figuring that perhaps she was running late. After completing my shopping, I returned at 11:15 AM to try to get the dresses. Still no signs of life and nobody answering the phone. After running more errands, I call at 12:30 PM to see if Jennifer has arrived. She finally picks up. I ask if she is at the shop. She explains that she had some problems this morning but she is now there and will be there until 4 PM. I tell her I'll be right down to get my dresses. I arrive at 1PM. I look at the counter and my dress is in a pile, with a bunch of pins in it and scissors next to it. My daughters dress is hanging nearby, pins in it. Obviously not completed. She sees me and starts apologizing, telling me they will be ready in a couple of hours or maybe I could come back tomorrow??? I told her that I was extremely frustrated because this was my 4th trip to try to get my clothes. Jennifer corrected me and says you mean second. I give her the rundown of my 4 attempts to get the dresses. Jennifer then explains to me that she got stuck at Kohl's. They had some really great sales and she starts to show me some of her great finds. She says sorry again and then let's out a burp. I explained that I was very upset because I needed to get the garments today since my schedule for the rest of the week is booked up and now she would in fact be doing the rush job that I didn't want three days prior. Jennifer says to come back in 2 hours. It will be fine. She isn't rushing. I agree because she has my dress, in a pile, pinned and who else am I going to get this late in the game? I come with my daughter so we can make sure everything is set before we go. My daughter tries on her dress. Jennifer had only sewn a 1 inch line in the middle of the area that needed to be sewn which left 2 weird looking pockets. I look at the hem on my dress. The stitching and cutting is janky at best. Jennifer hand stitches the rest of the 10 inch line that we originally needed to prevent the wardrobe malfunction. My daughter tries the dress on again. It will do. I ask how much I owe. Jennifer informs me that she will only charge me $50. I pay, take my dresses and go. Although I appreciate that she made an attempt at making things right with the discount; I feel it was too little, too late. Customers shouldn't feel as if their time is of no value. I haven't been that angry, irked, annoyed, disappointed in years. If I were a cartoon character I'm sure steam would have come out of my ears especially when she burped at me. I am attaching photos of the stitching so you can see what I mean about the shoddy work.

    I rarely write reviews, but my experience here was upsetting enough that I feel the need to warn…read moreothers. After more than ten years as a loyal customer, I brought in my daughter's wedding dress for cleaning. Although it was eventually found, the way the situation was handled was extremely unprofessional. When I went in to pick up the dress, I was told that it had already been picked up. Period. I asked the two young employees to check for any additional details, and I was again told, "It says it's been picked up," without any additional information or offer of additional follow up. When I asked for a manager, I was told, "It's her day off," and even scolded to "respect her day off" when I asked them to contact her. They eventually did get the owner on the phone; she was extremely rude and even more unprofessional, making it clear that I was bothering her. While the dress was ultimately returned, at no point did I feel the situation was under control or handled responsibly, especially for a long-standing, twice-weekly customer. For something meaningful or irreplaceable, I would strongly recommend taking your garments elsewhere. I now take my business elsewhere. If I could, I would rate this business 0 stars. If you want an even shorter version (3-4 sentences max), I can create that too.

    I had a dry clean-only coat covered with dust. I brought it to Santoro's, and when I picked it up a…read moreweek later (my choice on pick up date) it was clean and in a fancy plastic bag. I was very happy with the price and ease of drop off/pick up. There aren't a crazy amount of parking spots in the front of the building, but there are several more off to the side by their sign. The interior is very vintage, with checkered tile floors and lots of brown. The signs out front are definitely dated, although maybe only to the 90s. I think it adds to the ambiance. There are washers and dryers inside, and seemed to have plenty of room for all the people using them both times I went inside. I would definitely take dry cleaning here again, and if I needed a Laundromat it seems like a good place to go for your needs.

    I would strongly caution anyone considering Stitch on Main for wedding attire or alterations…read more Our experience involved significant and repeated errors across both suits and dresses, along with extremely unprofessional behavior leading up to the wedding. Suit Issues: * All 9 rental suits arrived in the wrong sizes due to incorrect measurements taken by the shop. Several groomsmen recognized the measurements were off at the time, which is why I proactively provided correct sizes in advance, yet the suits still came in wrong. * Both fathers' purchased suits were also incorrect (pants several sizes too large, vest too small). * The groom's suit had to be purchased elsewhere days before the wedding after multiple failed reorders. * Most notably, one groomsman was given the wrong suit color entirely (the groom's color), which was only discovered on the wedding day. This is clearly visible in photos and should have been caught prior to pickup. * Groomsmen had to make multiple trips to the shop due to ongoing errors and limited business hours. Dress & Alteration Issues: * My bustle failed within an hour, forcing me to hold my dress for the remainder of the night. As shown in photos, I had to physically hold the gown to keep it off the ground, which made dancing and moving around uncomfortable and even left marks on my arm the next day. * The cups in my gown were not fully sewn, and a strap was sewn on twisted. * A visible tag showed through my dress, which I had to cut out myself on the wedding day after it was dismissed by the owner during my final fitting. * My maid of honor's dress was altered so poorly it was unwearable. * Additional bridesmaid issues included incorrect hemming, poor fit adjustments, and repeated zipper failures. Customer Experience: * When I came for final pickup, I was met with aggressive and confrontational behavior, including raised voices and items being slammed, bringing me to tears just days before my wedding. * Despite clear errors, I was told I would be charged for reorders caused by their mistakes. * After the wedding, the shop refused accountability, declined refunds, and instead contacted a groomsman directly rather than addressing the impact on us as the couple. As a group, we spent over $3,000, and the experience was stressful, disorganized, and far below what should be expected for a wedding vendor. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of ownership, professionalism, and resolution is what makes this experience especially disappointing. I hope this feedback is helpful for both the business and future couples planning their wedding.
