My partner and I unfortunately had a terrible experience with this business. I first want to share…read morewe were repeat customers prior to this and really liked the ultrasound tech in racine. However we will likely never go back due to how they treated this extremely avoidable incident. My partner and I went in on 01/26 for a DNA early gender determination test. Which per the website states "RESULTS WITHIN TWO DAYS!!!" A very deceiving claim, considering our sample sat in the building until 4 pm on Saturday 01/30. We did not receive our result until the following Monday 01/02. So I guess results within two days of the lab receiving it.. but they'll ship it out when they feel like it. Although we paid $130 and the package had overnight shipping. We specifically picked this business because we trusted their quick turnaround and wanted a more sterile environment than our home to avoid cross contamination. The ultrasound tech also said we would definitely get our results no later than end of day Thursday 01/29 putting us even more at ease. We we tried to call them on Thursday 01/29 during business hours with no answer and I left a voicemail. Called again early Friday and spoke with a woman who said she would provide us a tracking number shortly. Surprise, We never received a call back with the tracking number. We had to follow up with them on Friday evening, which is when we were told our sample along with, "50 other people's samples" , "never left the building". We had friends and family that flew and drove in from out of state for a gender reveal that was ultimately canceled due to their extremely avoidable negligence. I wish I would've remembered the woman we spoke with over the phone, but she stated verbatim that they would not give us a refund because if they gave us one, they would have to give the other fifty people refunds whose samples were delayed. She also made sure we knew they were a family owned business. A refund in my opinion was the least they could do. I am never one to leave a review at all, let alone a negative one on a family owned business.. but I was compelled to given the fact that they didn't care to rectify this situation and caused undue stress on me and my pregnant wife.

Today I got to come back because they were training someone (yay extra time to see baby) and I agreed to come in :) Great experiences each time. I went to KRC for the first time in January 2023, for an MRI, for my shoulder…read more My first visit was fine, but everything I've had to deal with KRC since then has been nothing but confusion and stress. I lost my insurance a month after my visit, which caused alot of confusion regarding my bill. It took several months, but eventually it got sorted out. However, trying to get ahold of the billing department was ridiculous. I made several calls attempting to pay my bill, left several voicemails explaining myself, only to be called back once or twice while I was still at work and unable to take phonecalls. I've never had such a difficult time trying to contact a billing department. Eventually I was able to talk to someone and get my bill paid. Then, literally a whole month after I paid, I got a call from a collections agency regarding the same bill. I still haven't been able to figure out if this whole thing is going to poorly impact me at all. But I tried my very best to avoid this kind of thing happening, only for it to happen anyway. And I can't blame anything else except the poor communication from KRC. I'll be getting MRI's from somewhere else going forward, if I can help it.

Endeavor Health | Health Center & Immediate Care - Northbrook

Exceptional care and life changing results at the Northbrook ENT and Audiology team…read more My godmother, "Flo", turned 95 this year. At her birthday party she smiled from ear to ear because she could hear us sing Happy Birthday to her, something she had not been able to enjoy. That moment was made possible by the ENT and audiology team at Endeavor Health NorthShore's Northbrook location at 501 Skokie Boulevard. A little over a year ago, Flo lost all hearing in her only good ear. She could hear sound but could not make out words. She became withdrawn and depressed and lost more than 30 pounds. She stopped going to her church women's club and barely engaged with friends and family. Her world went silent. We began with Dr. Janet Han at the Swedish Hospital location in Chicago. She tried a hearing aid plan with several fittings and a loaner. When that did not help, we met in Northbrook with Dr. David D. Walker and his team, Dr. Samantha Schneider and Dr. Margaret Molloy, to talk about a cochlear implant. With guidance from Flo's geriatrician, Dr. Erica Hutz, I chose to move forward knowing there was only a fifty fifty chance it would help, because any improvement could change her quality of life. From the first appointment, this team was kind, patient, and clear. They explained every step in plain language, returned calls quickly, and coordinated scheduling so travel and visits were manageable. They spoke to Flo in a way she could follow and made her feel included in her own care. They treated me as a partner in every decision. Over the next year I attended every follow up and adjustment. There were hard days when we wondered if we made the right choice, but the team's encouragement and skill kept us going. The changes have been remarkable. Flo gained back 30 pounds, returned to her women's club, attends the senior monthly meetings at the police station, watches television again, and starts conversations with friends and caregivers. She laughs, connects, and participates in life again. If you are considering a cochlear implant or need ENT care, I highly recommend this team. Thank you to Dr. Janet Han, Au.D., Dr. Samantha Schneider, Au.D., Dr. Margaret Molloy, Au.D., Dr. David D. Walker, MD, and Dr. Erica Hutz, MD. You gave Flo back her independence, her joy, and her will to live. We are grateful beyond words.

I first went to the closest location, but they couldn't get me in for a couple of hours. I didn't even realize urgent care offered appointments. The receptionist there kindly told me about another nearby location where I could make it in time for an available appointment in about 15 minutes. I'm so grateful she mentioned that option because the pain I was in was unbearable. I was also very anxious and nervous since I didn't know how serious the issue might be and I wasn't very comfortable seeing a doctor I didn't know. From the moment I arrived, the staff was kind and calming. Dr. Paulson immediately recognized how anxious I was and put me at ease right away. She was incredibly understanding and compassionate, and during the procedure she talked with me to keep my mind occupied. Before I knew it, the situation was taken care of. This experience completely changed how I feel about urgent care. I won't hesitate to go again if the situation ever arises. Even though the building is currently under construction, the location was convenient, parking was easy, and the care I received was excellent. I'm very grateful to have this facility nearby and for the wonderful staff who helped me.

I recently had an MRI at MH Imaging at 2500 W. Layton St. and give the company owners and staff…read morethere high marks. The layout of the imaging suite I had was well designed and bathed with warm accent lighting. MRI machines are loud, so the technician offered ear plugs, head phones (with my choice of music) or both. I chose both enjoying some great 70's Eagles tunes to pass the time while the GE 3T MRI performed its magic. There was an issue getting my Doctor's imaging order communicated to MH Imaging, but that was not MH Imaging's fault. Once I got the order corrected and resent from my physician's office, the MRI image scan process went smoothly. I want to personally thank MH Imaging for making this State of the Art MRI technology available and price competitive vs. other Milwaukee area imaging options. MH Imaging is a great option to consider. G.W.

I visited MH Imaging for a scan and will not be returning to this location or any MH Imaging…read morefacility. I arrived about fifteen minutes late due to confusion with their multiple locations on the same street (Layton ave in Milwaukee)--there's another center just two miles away, which is an understandable mix-up. However, the receptionist showed no empathy or effort to understand the situation. When I tried to explain that I was in severe pain and needed to be scanned urgently and also drove 30 miles, she refused to listen, said 'I'm not gonna speak with you anymore' and 'I think you need to leave now.' She offered only 'I can get you in tomorrow' before turning her back on me. I'm sure I'm not the first patient to mix up the locations, especially since only the main facility shows up online. Not to mention she also condoned a hostile patients threatening behavior towards me. Their follow-up communications are also vague and don't even include appointment times. As a healthcare professional myself, I would never interact with patients this way and will not be sending my patients here. We are taught that, as healthcare professionals, patients come in to the facilities on some of the worst days of their lives and these employees showed no understanding of that. The staff could definitely benefit from training in patient interaction and professionalism. Better location clarity and proper follow-up are also needed of course.
