Excellent Orthopedic Surgeon subspecializing in lower back problems. Osteopathic Medicine grad trained at the Orthopedic Surgery program at Midwestern University in Chicago - I always look up the educational background of physicians because it makes a difference to me. Thorough but efficient exam led to immediate hope though I'm taking the painful and difficult (but safer) route of physical therapy. He has been very supportive of my choice, he explains the evolving situation with great respect to my intelligence and overinflated sense of medical and anatomical knowledge. Nice equipment and good professional staff in his group clinic practices, but I have had problems with the Orthopedic Institute of Wisconsin that has very poorly trained telephone staff. It's hard to get that initial appointment in, and they are so much more concerned with patient ability to pay than actual health but physicians have little control over these sorts of things nowadays. read more
