I found them on Zocdoc and they had good availability. Dr. Donahue was very professional, funny, and got to the bottom of things quickly. I felt so much better after his assessment and treatment. I also really appreciate that after you see the chiropractor, they bring you to one of the physical therapists to get stretches and exercises to help you deal with (and hopefully prevent) the issues from coming back. Katherine at the front desk is perhaps the friendliest office manager I've ever met. She always has a big smile and is so empathetic to every patient. She's quick to respond on things and helpful at working with insurance and scheduling appointments. Very happy to have found such a great provider in Chicago! Just don't forget to pay your meter if you park on the street, you WILL get a ticket (I learned that the hard way).

What really sets this place apart is not just the quality of care, but the energy and personality of the staff, they strike a perfect balance between professionalism and making each visit enjoyable. I was also lucky enough to experience the fun, playful side of the team. From their creative dry erase board polls to their fully committed construction-themed Halloween setup which, in my opinion, absolutely mogged the other offices (not even close) they created an atmosphere that made coming in something to look forward to. The occasional "jam session" moments just added to the positive, upbeat vibe. Especially when Tate McRae was cranked up to volume 12, I felt unstoppable! As for the care itself, Emma, Christine, and Jose were exceptional. They truly listened to my concerns about my lower back pain and guided me through every step with clarity and expertise. Their knowledge and attention to detail made my decision to come here feel like a no-brainer. The facility is clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything needed for effective treatment. I especially want to highlight the dry needling, it was a complete game changer. I only wish I had started it sooner, as it provided significantly more relief than stretching or traditional PT alone. Within a short time, I noticed a major improvement in both my pain and mobility. Overall, the care is top-notch, the staff is incredibly professional (while still keeping things fun), and I can't recommend this place enough.

Intake and appointment scheduling is very easy. The front desk staff people are friendly and professional. The therapists are top notch. They know what they're doing and are happy to explain what's happening in the body, why it's causing pain, and how various exercises will help with healing, mobility and range of motion. I've been seeing Shamshir at the 75th St. facility by Pick and Save. She's amazing. I cannot believe how much my elbow pain has subsided, and how much my range of motion has improved. An added bonus, she's a friendly and interesting person! I don't love being in pain and needing therapy. But, I am happy to have found Athletico. Highly recommend!

He was impressed by the fact that they were able to figure out what was actually causing his pain and how to address it. We are hoping that this will help him avoid surgery. The ONLY bad thing, which is why we didn't give a perfect rating, is that they will tell you what to do and walk away and work with someone else. I think that they should stay and make sure that they are doing the exercises correctly and not leave someone alone. I don't know if they are understaffed or if this is just their process, but I've had physical therapy in the past at 2 different businesses and was never left alone at either one.

I was struck by a vehicle as a pedestrian in December of 2017 and came very to losing my lower right leg. I was 48 years old at the time. I suffered traumatic ankle dislocation, fractured tibia and fibula, among several other complicated trauma injuries. Dr. Paulick performed 4 surgeries in 13 days to save my lower right leg, while I was in the hospital. Dr. Paulick has tirelessly done everything surgically and medically to provide me with the amazing gift, of being able to walk and do everything else, on my own leg. From the very first day, to my last visit with Dr. Paulick today, he has patiently and meticulously explained every medical detail to me, and graciously answered all of my questions throughout my long recovery journey. I knew from the first day that I had 100% confidence and trust in Dr. Paulick's competencies as an orthopedic surgeon. Today I can work and drive again, and do everything to enjoy living a full life, as I had prior to my accident, thanks to the remarkable medical care which Dr. Paulick has provided for me. I am so grateful to him beyond words, and am truly blessed and honored to have Dr. Paulick as my orthopedic surgeon. My health is not the best I am a diabetic and have no feeling in my legs and feet. in fact, sometimes I worry that I am a real pain. however, neither doctor nor his staff has ever given me the impression that I am. They have shown me nothing but respect and real concern. I know that finances are a very difficult thing for anyone. I know that even personally I hate it, so I can't imagine having to do it every day. I have had to meet with the business manager and she was direct but not in a disrespectful or harsh accusing manner. No one is perfect and I would be the first to say I have done insurance billing and even though I would check and double check my work and still I would get a call or the claim would come back. Sometimes even worse the patient would call or even worse yet come in so angry because the insurance led them to think that the doctor's office messed up and now they may have to pay their bill. So I can really have empathy when it comes to being on the finance part. Were ther times that I maybe put in a wrong ICD9 code, yes and when it was brought to my attention I apologized and told them that I would take care of it and thanked them for bringing it to my attention. I really hated it when I tried to be patient and the pateint was so mad that it was so hard to keep my mind from just hearing the yelling and listen to them. I would feel like a kid when their parents scream, gee maybe that is why ear phones were made for phones. makes it much easier to tune out. I guess that is why when I get a nice financial manager in a doctor's office or anywhere I let my breath out that I had been holding since I got out of my car. If I had to call, that saying oh God don't let them answer. I can say I have never gotten this feeling from any of the staff, concerning bills or co-pays. That was my experience and I am sorry that anyone should have had a bad experience cloud the expert care from an expert doctor like Dr. Thomas Paulich. I guess what I am trying to say is go make your own impression. I will never be sorry I am seeing him. His Staff that in my opinion would be a five star; if they were a hotel, are tops.
