I came in looking down a knife for my back, and in just a few months I'm able to wash dishes, vacuum a 3-bedroom home in ONE day instead of three, AND go dancing - pain free for the first time in YEARS. Everyone there is great and they all work very hard to give each client great service. I have had Dr. J. working with me for my treatment and he has been great! My spine is a real mess and I have had a fusion and when I would tell the surgeon that I was still in a lot of pain he would just keep operating on the same fusion and did not look at the rest of my spine. When I walked in and saw Dr. J. I was bent over like an 85 year old man and could hardly walk anymore. I am much improved at this point looking back a short time ago. I still have good days and bad days pain wise, but I can stand up fairly straight again and walk much better. They do not just manipulate your spine and joints they have a computer program that shows how far off your spine is and set up a plan for you and they have exercise equipment along with other equipment to help you improve. So blessed! I heard about EMTT back in 2018 when I came across an article, I was deep into dealing with my foot issues & pain, and later discovered it wasn't just plantar fasciitis but I also had a neuroma growth that had to be surgically removed in 2019. Then I started developing frequent issues in both my hip SI joints back in 2020/2021. Regular chiropractor care helped, but as time went on, and my age approaching 40, my pre-menopausal issues increased drastically & my hip pain 2021/2022 was now daily & sometimes so bad I could hardly function. Getting in/out of a seated position was extremely painful & the constant inflammation, my hips were on FIRE with pain daily. Our AMAZING Dr. Horbach advised his clients he was getting an EMTT machine (I believe the second machine in all of WI!). we determined last week to give it a try. To say I'm in tears over the results from ONE treatment is an understatement. I went from a pain level on a scale of 10, down to level 3. Yesterday I had my second emtt session & well see if a few more are needed. But WOW! When you live with chronic pain, you forget what normal feels like. I can get up/down & in/out of a seated position without having to grab something for support, or to assist me. I can walk/stand without fire pain shooting down my leg. As someone with a sedentary job, sitting all day makes anyone stiff, I do make a point to get up stretch/move around, but find I can sit much longer than before without pain & without being so stiff my hips feel locked & I can't move. I seriously thought I'm too young to need hip surgery, but after years of chronic pain, un-diagnosed & untreated female gynecological issues & years of feet issues (it ALL starts with PROPER foot alignment!), my body was just a mess. Our experience started out great but was negative in the end. We setup a treatment plan with Dr. Horbach to solve our daughter's back pain. After completing the treatment plan (but still continuing appointments) there was little to no improvement. We finally went to an orthopedic doctor who found a small fracture in her lower vertebrae. Three months in a back brace solved her problem. We found it curious that we never received a call from Horbach Chiro inquiring how she was doing or why we stopped treatment. Maybe they're so busy they don't notice when a patient stops coming. Possibly they knew they couldn't help her but we're happy to take our money as long as we kept returning... The reason I gave them two stars is because most of the staff is very friendly, they're highly organized, and other patients I spoke with were satisfied. Just don't expect them to ever tell you they can't help your condition. By the way, their X-ray machine is quite old and doesn't have the resolution to find a very small fracture. read more
