Excellent customer service! Keith was prompt and did an excellent job. Not only does my door shut better but it looks great. He installed a deadbolt and replaced the bottom doorknob. I called another place and they were rude, go with Advanced Lock and Key! They are accommodating to a work schedule since most of us work! read more

Came in to get a key copied. It only took a few seconds. Cheap. Friendly business. Great, fast service.

They got us hooked up with two programmed keys quickly. Done and done. I don't need to say anything else

Went over to get a special car key cut today, and I have to say Jacob the owner was a real class act. It took a little extra finesse to cut the new key as the old one was badly worn, but Jacob got it nailed down in under 10 mins. Can't recommend this business enough if you're in need of a solid locksmith! read more

Kirk Ciccarello went out of his way to make a service call to me the other day to fix my car that had been broken by another shop. He was supposed to be ending his shift soon and was nice enough to stop by and help me out first. My car wouldn't start until he fixed my MyKey Ford issue. I am grateful and highly recommend ! read more

They were on it!! Got to my car in under 20 minutes to help me unlock my door. Super impressed. Will definitely use in the future if need be. Highly recommend! read more

I am sorry that I had to select one star. I went to Advanced Lock & Key, to have a key made for a like new high end vehicle that I had just purchased. They cut through the ONLY original key at their shop, then proceeded to blame me for distracting them by looking around the shop. They were not going to tell me they had cut through the original key until I noticed they were going back and forth from the shop to the vehicle. The employee was literally going out and trying to crank over the engine with a make-shift key, coming back inside to see if he could somehow get it right and when I asked if we should contact the dealership, he said "No". Long story short, because of their lack of expertise, I ended up having to have the ignition, door locks and battery replaced at significant cost, because the vehicle's ignition has an anti-theft mechanism, that was fouled by their employee's poor workmanship. I was disappointed that they tried to make me somehow feel inferior for their mistake, AND were unwilling to cover the damage to the vehicle. It is unfortunate when businesses like this handle business so poorly. read more

We had a key for a very old lock that Kirk and crew was able to eventually find a match or near match and duplicate. They were determined and courteous and, because it was not a "perfect" match and could not guarantee it would work, did not charge for their time or service. Very professional! Absolutely recommend. read more

I was in and out in 10 minutes with a new key and fob and they even threw in a spare for me! Very inexpensive and super cool guys! Highly recommended! read more

Have car with keyless ignition and did not want to travel to Mexico without spare key hidden on car. These are the folks with the solution and very reasonable cost. They have my future business! read more

This place is legit, fast, & reasonably priced. Came in having issues with my key fob and wanted to get a knew one. O-Shay I believe is how you spell his name, apologize if I spelt it wrong, but he fixed my old fob and set me up with a new for half the price of the dealer cost and took 10-15mins rather than having to leave my truck at the dealer for a day. I'd recommend these guys any day. read more

Excellent fast service, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Christian especially is extremely professional and a cool dude to boot. He was very responsive to an issue I had and hooked me up with a replacement key when the first one didn't jive with my truck the way i was expecting. Great price for a duplicate key for my F150, cost me probably half of what the dealer would have charged. read more

Justin came to my home two weeks ago to look at a sliding door that wouldn't lock. I had been told by a contractor that a very expensive -- $300+ -- job would be necessary, but Justin showed me a way to lock the door that was very easy and I only had to pay the $40 house call fee. Yesterday, the "fix" that Justin showed me stopped working, so I called Advanced this morning. Justin came out in the afternoon and did a much more permanent fix -- adjusting the locking mechanism. When we asked what the work would set us back, he said it was free and that he was sorry the first fix didn't last longer. We weren't even charged the $40 house call fee, since we had paid that for the first visit. Justin not only saved us a lot of time and money, he stood by his work and showed some real integrity and character in the way he addressed our issue. Thank you, Justin and Advanced Lock & Key. read more

I'm at "ADVANCED LOCK KEY" on Fairview near 5 mile, got two new keys for my car, The process was quick, efficient and I got a great deal. KIRK and the gang took great care of Big Mama ! They had the keys in stock they cut them and programmed them to my car in about 15 minutes. I highly recommend ADVANCED LOCK KEY for all of your locks and keys needs. Locked our keyfob inside the vehicle. Advanced responded quickly, the technician was prompt, efficient and professional. Thanks

DO NOT RECOMMEND! They charged me an original price of $190 then when they came out to help me charged another $220, after saying on the phone that it was paid for. I called them today to figure out the payment and get my money back and when I did they were extremely rude, disrespectful and unwilling to work with me. THEY HAVE ROBBED ME FOR $200! read more

I got locked out of my vehicle when I just arrived to work. Called before my shift and was able to describe my location and car via text and in a jiffy (i.e. less than 30 minutes...DURING RUSH HOUR) a young gent entered the restaurant with my keys in his hand! MAGIC! Best locksmith experience in my book! Quick, easy, and a decent price! I know who I'll call next time my butterfingers get the best of me! read more

Let me start by saying I never right reviews on places. So when I visited this place I wasn't expecting to get blown away but I was pleasantly surprised. I was having a pretty rough day and the last place I expected to make my day was this place. Came in and was out in 3-4 minutes. Wasn't pressured into anything I didn't need, they just got straight to business. All I need was my car key cut and that's exactly what I got. Kirk helped me out and was very courteous and friendly as well as everyone else. Would recommend this place again and again can't beat great prices, and great customer service. Go here if you need anything lock or key related, you won't regret it. read more

We needed another key for our Hyundai 2015 Santa Fe and we were told at the Hyundai dealership that we had to get the full key fob and that I would be over $300. We were referred to Advanced Lock & Key and they were very friendly and professional. They had our key (luckily our model will use a regular key) made within minutes and it was way cheap! O'shea and Shawn were both really nice. Same with the owner's wife. We will definitely come back if we need them. read more

I locked my keys in my car, I called them and they were here within 25 minutes on a Sunday. The guy got my car Unlocked and I had paid in less than 10 minutes. Would call again but hopefully I don't have too! read more

Its been awhile since I last locked my keys in my car. I tried calling my husband for our extra key but didn't get an answer with him being at work. I called Advanced lock & Key who had someone to me in less then 15 minutes. Not sure what his name was but he was a very nice young man that had just recently graduated from Capital high school. Would call again with out hesitation. read more

Very good and fast. Got my new key fob programmed and on my way in 10 min. Fair price and friendly service. Thank you.

The young man working was absolutely great at what he does. He worked very hard while 5 people were in there. Will definitely come back!

Had an ok experience. They did the job, and I got what I needed, but I didn't really feel like this was the best customer service I've seen. Pros; They offer 24hr service. Which is nice because when things go wrong they go wrong late at night or on Sunday. They state that if you find a cheaper price in Boise, they will match it. (I couldn't find a cheaper price) They make car keys to manufacture standards. So they will fit as they are supposed to. Cons; Even though they are the "cheapest in town", they are still expensive. Will charge extra for Sunday, and evenings. Quasi unprofessional. They are informed on their product. They know what they are doing. But, they lack a sense of professionalism. Dirty office space, with empty coffee cups all over. very casual attire (very VERY causal). When working with these people, their cell phones seem to hold more of their attention then the customers right in front of them. The guy working the front desk had his cell go off every 30 seconds or so. If it was a text, he would stop what he was doing and respond to it. If it was a call, he would take the call and ignore the people in the lobby. If he got a text while already on a call, he would put them on speaker and reply to the text. Guy was ultra fixated with his phone. I give 3 stars because I got what I needed. But I recommend that they clean up their operation a little bit. They have a good service, but they need to provide a more professional service. If they did that I am sure I would rate them higher. read more

Kirk saved my life!!! Was visiting from CA over the 4th of July weekend and was floating down the river on inner tubes with my family when my son fell into the water and lost the remote to my car. I called the nearest Lexus dealership who told me that they wouldn't be able to help me for three more days because they said The only way to get a new keyless entry remote was to order it from Lexus. I needed to drive back to CA the next day and was getting hysterical. My sister-in-law called AAA and they sent out Advanced lock and key. By the time we finished going down the river and I got back to my car Kirk had redone my keyless entry system and cut a new laser key!! I have never been so relieved in my life, I wish I could give these guys 10 stars! read more

My son locked the doors while the car was running. I called three other locksmith's before I called Advanced. They were the only ones that said they could come right away. They were there within 15 minutes. The guy was super nice and professional. I was shocked at the price!!!! It was half of what I was expecting! read more

Went in to have an electronic key checked. Was told it was $60 to check the key and if it is bad, then that would be forwarded to the cost of a new key. It was bad (of course) but then they told me that they never said that it would be forwarded to the cost. I would have never paid 60 to be told it didn't work! read more

Quickly replaced my key fob and figured out what was wrong when sensor wasn't responding all within about 20 minutes.

My ignition in my Toyota wouldn't turn over due to broken tumblers in the lock. He quoted me a price that was fair over the phone and stuck to his word. Would highly recommend for service and professionalism. read more
