From the first day we met with the team, everyone was so helpful and was quick to answer our many questions. It took us some time to find the right home and get through the process. Michael continually checked in and explained everything to us as we navigated what can be a complex, frustrating, or stressful experience. However, between Michael, Justin, and Bethany, we felt so well taken care of and they helped ease much of the complexity and stress. They were always very professional, quick to respond, and very efficient. They were also very transparent with the process, made it clear when certain items were time sensitive, and helped us understand what was standard so we wouldn't worry. We'd definitely recommend Capital M to any of our friends and family and will use them in the future if we move again!

We were in a very competitive situation where time to close was a meaningful part of our offer. Both my wife and I are self-employed so we had a fairly atypical application and the Swanson Home Loans team came through with flying colors. As usual, Evan's team was extremely communicative, laying out the steps in the process and telling us exactly what they needed, when they needed it. And all of our questions were answered within an hour of us asking, if not within minutes. Of course Evan got us a terrific rate in a challenging macro environment and laid out all of our options very clearly as far as the term of the loan and which features were in our interest. Just an extremely professional experience all the way around. We recommend Swanson Home Loans highly.

Even so, Jason and his team remained focused on our goals and worked tirelessly to ensure they were met. We were especially impressed by Jason's attention to detail and thorough preparation throughout the process of marketing our home. After every showing, Jason would sit down with us to debrief, sharing specific feedback about whether a visitor was a serious buyer, what they liked or didn't like, and how well our house fit their needs. He was particularly skilled at helping potential buyers envision how the house could be transformed into their ideal home. Beyond working directly with buyers, Jason demonstrated a deep knowledge of the real estate market. He regularly stopped by to discuss trends in interest rates, the types of buyers currently active in the market, and how this information should shape our marketing strategy. Despite the difficult market conditions, we never lost confidence in Jason and his team. In the end, our house sold and our goals were achieved, thanks to their hard work and professionalism. This was the most extraordinary care and service. Professional, kind, market savvy and informative, the team walked us through a process that we hadn't known (since we hadn't bought a home in the USA in the past decade.) Man, what can I even say about James Adair? If you are reading this review wondering whether or not…read moreyou should work with him, YOU SHOULD. HE IS AWESOME. I was an incredibly anxious, first-time homebuyer in 2014. I was terrified of the financing falling through because of a tight timeline. My husband and I were attempting to bump a contingent offer and everything was on the line. We were out of a month-to-month apartment, and if things fell through with our financing, we'd lose our dream home AND have nowhere to live. I was quitting the worst job of my life to start a new one, and was working a lot of hours. Long story short: James' team made the entire process easy and seamless. Working with someone local was paramount. When I made a few mistakes with documentation and paperwork, I was able to just drive it over to their office to make it right in less than 24 hours. They even stayed after hours to make sure I could drop things off. They were comforting and reassuring and really listened to me, and most importantly, they got the job done. Now, fast forward 6 years later. I'm very thankful for the equity I've built in my house and the updates James still sends me about it! I find his emails legitimately helpful and they keep me motivating to look at the big picture of my finances. I can call him to ask his advice about financial instruments and how different choices might impact my property value upon eventual sale. He still listens sincerely without rushing, even when there's no immediate profit in it for him. James is in this business of the long game. He will help you buy this house and, if he can, your next house and the one after that. He's a relationship lender in the truest possible sense and I would send any close friend or immediate family member to him without hesitation.
