Unfortunately, my interactions with Daniel Bertosz, a financial advisor with OnPoint/Raymond James, have been the complete opposite. In my experience, he seemed far more focused on fees than on my financial well‑being. Whenever I questioned his recommendations or asked for clarification, he became defensive and even suggested I should take my business elsewhere.I've been with OnPoint for years and never imagined wanting to leave--until I worked with Daniel. His professionalism, communication, and willingness to listen were consistently lacking. His priority appeared to be moving me into higher‑fee products under the claim of a "better portfolio." When I first trusted him with my investments, he placed me in a portfolio that ultimately lost me around $30,000, and I still haven't recovered from that decision.To be clear, OnPoint itself has been great. But based on my experience, I would strongly advise against working with Daniel Bertosz as a financial advisor. We brought it up multiple times during our signing and requested that they be fixed. Tim's reply was that they were correct and everything was fine. It clearly was not correct if we kept bringing it up. We left after the signing and received a phone call from the escrow company and Tim apologizing to us about the "misunderstanding." During that conversation Tim told us that they would pay for the correction since it was his fault for not fixing it.
