After talking to 3 companies that were all recommended by my coworkers, I ended up going with Dinu for the following reasons. - his passion for hardwood. i want someone who is passionate about his work. Dinu is the man - knowledge. i ended up chatting with all of them and found Dinu to be very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Because this is something he is passionate about , he would spend enough time to explain his thoughts. - integrity. his estimate was very buttoned up without any funny stuff Honestly, there are lots of people who know how to install hardwood floors. I've done that on my own so for me, finding a guy that i can trust and rely on mattered more than anything else. Dinu is that type of the guy. Because the work can only start after closing the house, I had to time everything perfectly and even with a perfect plan, things always go wrong, and it is a matter of a call or text to him to take care of it. Of course, the installation done by his crews (great guys too. there is this older gentleman who is very professional and put all the young guys to shame!!! I believe his name was Mike. It was such a pleasure to get to know the crews as well. I am pleased with the quality for the planning, communication and installation done by Dinu and his team. Scubbed, sanded, stained and the best taping job I have ever seen to protect my plants and house. Not the cheapest quote but, you get what you pay for and we are thrilled. I didn't end up doing the work but 15 months later, I was ready to go forward with one of the rooms I had previously asked them to estimate and two newly remodeled rooms- so, it was a new estimate for work, and I was planning to use Seal Team One for the work. They sent a technician who took about 10 minutes to measure the rooms. The following day, I received the estimate and was surprised to see the total costs, especially since the same room from last year was now twice as much this year. I politely asked a few questions of their customer service representative, and she said the previous estimate had been in error and this new one was correct. I thanked her and her company for the time but that the costs were too much and I won't be accepting their bid. Their customer service representative could not have been more rude, and told me to look elsewhere for tile sealing in the future, and that I wasted their technician's valuable time. Given the estimate, I'd say their technicians time must be very valuable. Hard to believe that this is a service company. So, if you are looking for a business where people with no social or business skills are in charge of customer service, then by all means, go to Seal Team One. I must assume that this individual reflects the company's culture, and I am so glad that I found this out before a signed a contract to pay them almost $4,000 to seal my tile. You should avoid this company at all costs!

I called in a new contractor, SealTeamOne Kirkland, experienced in sealing pavers to "fix" the appearance problem. Leonard was timely in his appointments, reviewed and discussed how to deal with the problem ~ and completed the process yesterday. Graham is the owner operator of Seattle Bathtub Solutions who did a top notch refinish job on my 1952 seafoam green cast iron bathtub that was previously refinished 10 years ago and had started to peel and flake after 1 year. Graham's prep work of stripping, cleaning and etching is solid and his refinish work is flawless. I couldn't be happier with how the project turned out. Graham also went the extra mile and cleaned all the calcium build up on the faucet handles and spigot which he didn't have to do and made it look all brand new. Communicating and scheduling with Graham was very easy and is also very patient and personable especially considering how busy he is. Do yourself a favor and book early with him especially if you are on a time table to give yourself the best shot of having this pro work on your tub.
