Doctor Sasha Kashat is the sweetest AND knowledgeable. I love her professionalism and kindness all in one. Happy to drive an hour one way to see her.

Dr. Schulte diagnosed my son with accommodative dysfunction and recommended vision therapy. After calling the recommended vision therapy places, I was discouraged to find out the service cost was unaffordable and out of pocket only. After research, I discovered Corewell Vision Clinic. I was able to obtain the vision therapy there with the script written by Dr. Schulte and covered by insurance. Several weeks into therapy, the vision OT informed me that Dr. Schulte was not responding to the vision therapy evaluations being sent to her, thus they were unable to bill insurance. Both the vision OT and supervisor tried calling her office to speak to her and she refused. She also refused to sign the evaluations so my son's therapy was disrupted. Fortunately, after speaking with my son's pediatrician, he agreed to oversea the rehab until I was able to get in to see an ophthalmologist affiliated with Corewell. I am livid! Completely unprofessional and in my opinion unethical. I will not continue as a patient there. I will never recommend this place of business. It is unfortunate because the staff, including the other optometrist have been wonderful. I cannot say the same about Dr. Schulte!

When I picked out the glasses, they did a great job - they explained the benefit, brought out 2 trays of glasses to choose from, and were helpful in placing the order. Picking up the order, was not as great of an experience. They had my order ready, and they brought out the glasses. I always have to have glasses adjusted as my ears are not level. I asked them to do this, and they said my glasses were fine. I demonstrated they were crooked, and they still insisted they were straight. I was told "you are all set, thank you" and I left. Please note, there was no opportunity to check the vision or explain anything - no paperwork provided. I immediately drove to SVS Vision in Wixom, and they adjusted the glasses in about 45 seconds. All is well. I will be back next year for my safety glasses again if my prescription changes - I will just be prepared to immediately go to SVS Vision for an adjustment. The glasses are high quality, and they did a great job ordering them.

The glasses were delivered within the timeframe that was originally promised. That is where the good comments end. The glasses that were given to me to be fitted were totally unacceptable. The room was a blur. I needed the test card 5 or 6 inches from my face to read it. The only clear vision was across the room outside the window. I told the young lady that the glasses were totally unacceptable and I could see much better with my old glasses. She kept insisting that they were fine and I had to get used to them with time. When I pointed out how useless the bifocals were, she said that seamless trifocals might be the solution. I repeated several times that the glasses were totally unacceptable and I wasn't going to argue with her. Instead of referring this to the doctor (that was not seeing a patient at the time.) - she continued to insist that "I needed to get used to them". I have been wearing glasses my entire life and NEVER have refused a new pair of glasses. I told her a final time that I was not going to argue with her and got up and walked out without the new glasses. I have talked with my insurance carrier and was told after issuing a complaint that I cannot be covered to go to a different eye doctor for new glasses for a year because Dr Roy Wilson's exam used up my coverage. It would be totally out of pocket for another exam for glasses.
