Laima is a gem whenever I need to get my glasses fixed or shopping for a new pair! Highly recommend this location!!!

The glasses were delivered within the timeframe that was originally promised. That is where the good comments end. The glasses that were given to me to be fitted were totally unacceptable. The room was a blur. I needed the test card 5 or 6 inches from my face to read it. The only clear vision was across the room outside the window. I told the young lady that the glasses were totally unacceptable and I could see much better with my old glasses. She kept insisting that they were fine and I had to get used to them with time. When I pointed out how useless the bifocals were, she said that seamless trifocals might be the solution. I repeated several times that the glasses were totally unacceptable and I wasn't going to argue with her. Instead of referring this to the doctor (that was not seeing a patient at the time.) - she continued to insist that "I needed to get used to them". I have been wearing glasses my entire life and NEVER have refused a new pair of glasses. I told her a final time that I was not going to argue with her and got up and walked out without the new glasses. I have talked with my insurance carrier and was told after issuing a complaint that I cannot be covered to go to a different eye doctor for new glasses for a year because Dr Roy Wilson's exam used up my coverage. It would be totally out of pocket for another exam for glasses.

Good place to get an eye exam, with a pretty solid selection of glasses. The optometrist who helped…read moreme was great and helped me find a burgundy pair of glasses that I absolutely love (Bebe brand). They initially told me it would take about two weeks for my glasses to arrive, but both pairs came in sooner than expected, which was a nice surprise. Tip: Pick up your glasses on a weekday or during a less busy time to avoid waiting in line. That said, even when it was busy, the staff was thoughtful and came over to ask if we wanted to sit instead of standing. The first pickup on a weekday there was no line! Overall, a pleasant experience!

I've noticed that my glasses aren't as helpful as they used to be, so I decided it was time to…read morereturn to OptimEyes. (With the encouragement of the messages they'd left me.) I didn't realize that OptimEyes and the Henry Fort Ophthalmolgy were separate; the last time I was there, it was all the same people. They asked me which I was there for, and then the rather curt assistant said, "Well, it must be OptimEyes because we don't have anybody until 1:00." So, I walked a few feet down to the other end OF THE SAME DESK and a very nice woman checked me in. I waited for less than 5 minutes before they called me. I didn't get the name of the technician (a tall woman with short silver hair and lots of fun pins on her shirt), but she was very pleasant and fun to talk to. She did all of the pre-exam stuff and the puff of air thing. I'm probably the only person in the world who likes that! After that, I waited in a room for maybe 10-15 minutes for the intern to come in. He was really good as well. (I forgot his name.) And then, Dr. Jimenez came in, and he went over what the intern did, re-checked a couple things and sent me on my way. Everybody there (with the exception of the first person at the Welcome desk) was so nice, patient and kind. Even after trying on a dozen pair of frames and then deciding that the glasses were more than I wanted to spend, the assistant was very understanding. I will definitely continue to go there.
