I can not thank Dr. Kaar and his team enough-- there are no words! Every one here was so friendly and awesome! Dr. Kaar did an absolute knock out job on my implants, leaving my smile looking fresh, fly, and snatched! I feel like a total movie star!

Even though I did not have my all on 4 implant procedure done at this practice I found this office to be the right fit for me I came in with a broken upper arch Dr. Kaar talk to me through the steps we needed to take and got to work right away His team is very professional nice and courteous I would definitely recommend this practice to my friends I love to smile snd now I can do that I can say for me I made the right choice

    An after picture...

Their only dental hygienist only works part time & changes her hours due to laziness. Very poor customer service & clueless office staff.

Anyone else get implants and a bridge on top teeth? I had my surgery for extractions yesterday, and just want to know if the way I feel and look is normal. I wish I could post a picture, even though I'd rather not have anyone look at me.

Yes that’s normal when i had my teeth removed as well. Dr. Kaar just finished my Dental Implants When I first started.... The day I had them removed they gave me instruction… Read more

Kaar was very gentle with the IV to the point where was pleasantly surprised at how painless it was going in.

Takeaway: Every person in this office cares about their patients. This was by far the best dental experience I've ever had! Kelly, the office manager, stated that they frequently see people who haven't been to the dentist for years, so don't let fear of shame, pain, or financial ramifications keep you from the best care that you need from an all-star staff! Detailed Walkthrough: I received two mailers in the mail from two different dental companies. I set them aside and intended on making an appointment eventually. Like most people, I've had a fair share of lousy experiences with cruddy dentists. Eventually came sooner than later when my crown popped off and the temporary cement from CVS (which over the past few years has been working relatively well) didn't work. After several attempts at getting the sucker back on, I reluctantly dragged myself to the computer at midnight and began looking at the mailers, Groupon, and Yelp. Initial Impression: I was shocked that every review on here had 5 stars. I mean this is a dentist's office. You mean to tell me not a single person had a gripe? That's so rare. I was optimistically skeptical. What Drew Me Here: 1) Free first examination and x-rays for new patients. 2) Availability. I logged in early Sunday morning and had 5 time slots to choose from for the emergency appointment, to include the very first of the morning! The Process: (For those of you who want to know what you're walking into, are on the fence about going back to the dentist after bad situations, or are a bored voyeur looking for a glimpse of a random Yelper's experience.) I entered into a very clean, comfortable, and welcoming waiting room I was promptly greeted by the receptionist, Crystal, and the office manager, Kelly. Crystal handed me the new patient forms. Kelly, Crystal and I chatted while I filled out the paperwork. They treated me more like a family member than just a client. Denise took me to the room and I put down my belongings. She lead me to a state of the art x-ray machine and took the first set of x-rays. Another set of x-rays were taken. She offered me water before the doctor came in. She, too, was very friendly and was good conversation. Dr. Haghi came in and we discussed the results of the treatment options and settled on a treatment plan. She listened to my concerns and didn't (like every dentist I've been to before) talk down to me or demand I do what she said because she was the expert. Crystal came back and discussed my treatment plan and the associated costs. She explained that I could apply for CareCredit (if my credit was good enough) and we discussed the different ways the payments could be broken up. I needed a deep cleaning and she allowed me to choose whether or not to break it up into two appointments or get it over with in one. I was grateful to have the option to get it over with in one pop. Denise came in and put a small mask over my nose to administer the nitrous oxide and gave me a blanket. (I don't care how old I get; if you offer me the comfort of a blanket, I will take it!) Kevin, the hygienist, was very attentive during the deep cleaning and was very careful not to hurt me. He allowed me breaks for enough time to cough (I'm a mouth breather who clearly thinks I'm part fish and that I'll do okay aspirating water. That folks, is 100% my fault and 0% Kevin's fault.) After the cleaning, he took more x-rays and showed me that he actually did get all the gunk out from under the gum line. He scheduled me for my free one month follow up, gave me my "goody bag" of dental items, educated me on how to better maintain my mouth at home, and suggested products that are conveniently sold there at the office for a very fair price. I opted to get a tooth extracted. Denise assisted Dr. Haghi in the process. I think the shots to help numb the area were worse than getting the tooth pulled. The tooth extraction took about five minutes. The doctor consulted me on what I normally take for pain; wrote a prescription for mouthwash, antibiotics, and my pain medication. Denise administered oxygen for five and I chilled out to the streaming music in the office. I went up front and paid. My ride hadn't gotten there. So I had a chat with Crystal and Kelly until my ride showed.

We just called to the office but the doctor's assistant is such a shameless liar! My surgery for 1 tooth extraction was on Friday, they charged me more than I should have, charged me extra for deep sleeping anesthesia. The surgery lasted about 30 minutes. At 9:04 am I went into the surgery room with the doctor's assistant (there was a monitor with the time right in front of me). I waited for the doctor until 9:30 am (when dr.Shillingburg came in, I looked at the time on the monitor again). A few minutes later I got an injection from deep sleep . They called to my husband at 10:01am so he could pick me up! I'm 100% sure surgery was about 30 minutes, maybe even less!! But the doctor's assistant lied so much that the surgery lasted 47 minutes! REALLY??? And she said the surgery started at 8:52am! What a shame! Omg ! Check your cameras before lying to a patient who trusted you! At 8:52am, I was still standing at the checkout, sorting out the bill you gave me and trying to add $3,000 for an additional service I didn't need, in addition to $3,313 for one tooth extraction! I asked for it to be removed because the bill was already huge! It was about 6.000$ ! CRAZY ! They are the most expensive in this area, but they turned out to be such scammers! I'm shocked!

I've been going to him over twenty years for multiple extractions and implants and am truly in awe of what an amazing job he does. I've never had any pain there - not during the surgery and not afterwards. He is very caring, patient, and professional. Another reviewer wrote that he is the "costliest." That's probably true. And after he's taken care of your oral surgery, you'll likely agree that it's worth the extra costs, because he does everything perfectly. So does his staff. My experience has been that I've been written information on specifics of how much everything will cost in advance (and they accept dental discount programs as well as dental insurance, which I appreciate.) He intends for every part of his patients' experience to be excellent, and so it is. You can absolutely trust everything they do, and that's worth a lot in my opinion. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Spingola; you will not find a better oral surgeon.

The staff is still there, and they are still excellent, the only reason I still left any stars... but DO NOT let this new Dr touch you. When a patient says "I felt something go very wrong. I know what this is supposed to feel like because I've had this procedure with MY doctor, and this isn't it" a decent doctor will listen and investigate. This guy WALKED OUT THE DOOR. He's still in denial that he did anything wrong, and I've given up trying to be listened to. Ask the staff for a referral to another location. You won't get decent care with Dr. Nguyen.

I had to remove 4 wisdom teeth even though my top 2 were the ones bothering me. After the initial meeting with Dr. Gregory, he basically stated that the bottom wisdom teeth needed to be removed as they were impacted. Fair enough. The initial meeting and actual procedure were really quick I probably talked to Dr. Gregory all of 4 mins total. I woke up with some swelling, nothing too bad, and was sent on my way and started on the antibiotics and pain meds as prescribed. That's when things started going downhill. I assumed that the normal recovery time of about 3 days to a week would suffice before I recovered close to full health, however, it took me almost 6 weeks before I was pain free! My pain was coming from both impacted teeth from my bottom molars. 6 weeks however is not the usual healing timeline. The problem with this office was that there was no follow up and very minimal information regarding post procedure topics. I had to look up most of the stuff online and guess my diagnosis and prayed I wasnt having dry socket or even worse an infection. It was very difficult to set up a follow up appointment due to his busy schedule and that the office is open during normal work hours. Luckily for me I recovered on my own. I had to buy a water pic and religiously use salt water for 3 weeks and was able to eat solid food again without pain 1.5 months after the procedure. Improvement in bedside manner and having a thorough follow up process would dramatically improve the overall patient experience even if the problematic patient is few and far between.
