The store itself is by Washington Square park so it's super convenient to get to. Ziv fixed a lock that everyone else gave up on…read more The inside handle on my front door broke off. As my door has an unusual mortise lock, finding a replacement was extremely challenging. I had to call several locksmiths and Mul-T-Lock itself before I found Ziv. He immediately recognized this ("that's an Italian door"). He had the handles in stock, filed them to fit, fashioned a spindle, and had every back together and working. He also took the time to correct other problems with the lock, including a stripped screw and bent deadbolt. Impressed with his work, and sensing this was a good opportunity to get everything fixed at once, I had him re-key the cylinder. Turns out the previous locksmith had broken it (which explained why my key didn't work on the inside of the door). Ziv replaced it with a new cylinder. He showed off his cleverness by reusing the old parts and drilling an access hole for the set screw. Despite taking longer than expected, he stuck to his original quoted price.
