My husband and I bought a $99 heart scan from the state fair. That should say it all. We were on a sugar high from too many crepes and fried oreos and fell for the salesmans pitch. He promised a heart scan that would be beneficial to detecting blocked arteries for 2 people for $99. We went to the appt and got right in. The good part stops there. We were then taken back by another salesman who called himself something like a wellness coordinator. That's the long winded name for salesman. He sat us down in a tiny tiny room asking health questions and then we had to sit through a 30 min salesman pitch with him trying to sell a $8000 bodyscan package to us. Told the man we can't afford it whereas he said we can just put it on a credit card. At 28% ....no thanks. Then said we can finance it. Again ..no. He finally got the hint when I repeated over and over we can't afford $8000. This man was worse than a used car salesman. Felt just as shifty. I wouldn't recommend going unless you are prepared to either listen to a 30 min sales pitch or pay $8000. But good news....you can put it on a credit card. read more

Just like many others on here, we got heart scans for $99 at a home show. We should have known better. That's just how they get you in the door so they can put you in a room with a pushy sales person who doesn't know how to take no for an answer. We told the lady multiple times that it's just not something we can make work in our budget and she wouldn't stop until my husband finally raised his voice at her. She even tried to make my husband feel guilty for not doing it, that he is not paying for something that could save my life. The prices are more than what most average families can afford. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! STAY AWAY!!! After checking in, the first thing they did was to measure my blood pressure and told me that it was high. Well, I had never had a high reading of my blood pressure from my doctor's test, lab tests and not even a home test right after I finished this awful experience. The second thing they did, instead of going straight for a scan, I was took to some sort of advisor who was actually a salesman, for a long awful sales pitch. He tried to use a scary story to convince you to buy their ridiculous expensive full body scan packages costs over $21000. The sale pitch was so stupid and long that I had to call my wife and turn on speaker to showed her I was just having a bad conversation,not being kidnapped. Eventually I had to tell the salesman that I had no time for a chick chat just GAVE ME THE HECK SCAN!!! The scan took about only 10 mins and they found nothing wrong with my lung and heart. Went to the Tulsa location for the $79 online Heart/Lung scan special - Rich gave me a compelling sales pitch on the value of early detection & advancements in CT technology, but no serious pressure to purchase a full scan on the spot. Also, the office staff were extremely gracious and very helpful during the check-in process & brief procedure, as well as letting me reschedule a few times without any fees. Everyone had a mask on, too! Highly recommend... An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! read more

In my opinion, this is a scam. After the hour long awful sales pitch, I finally told the lady who was telling me she had multiple brothers die from heart attacks in the parking lots of doctors after routine checkups (liar) that I wasn't going to buy the 7-10 year package, costing thousands of dollars. (Yeah right) She then continued to ask me to rate how important my health was on a scale of 1-10, and how important my families health was to me. I wish now I would have just left right then, but I didn't. I am a little overweight, nothing crazy. I've eaten fast food all my life, and the scan said my arteries were 0% blocked. Learn what you are signing up for before doing it would be my recommendation. I went to them after reading about the service they provide. I was aware of the benefits and was willing to pay the requested amount for that service. I agree, if I was walking around the fair and a well trained sales person sold me on something I might feel the same way. The service they provide is important and the staff is nice. I have recommended to a few people. Sales people make money on commission only talk to the ones that you can have an educated conversation about what they are trying to selling you. I wish I would have read reviews on Yelp before going there. I was introduced to a nice-look man in an office after waiting for about 10 mins. For the first 20 mins he sounded like some sort of experts who really concerned your health from his own family health problems experience. And soon after that, a price sheet came in front of me,asking for $9k-$30k contract for a full body scan. And then another 20 mins of bla bla bla with the same commercial videos shown at their hallow way. Soon after I realized that was another scared sales tactics I asked him to stopped and just give me the heck scan. The scan takes about 10 mins but I wasted an hour listening bxxxxxxt. Reviews here very concerning. We just bought 2-1 scans a Okla. Home + Garden Show this past weekend. We will not go through a one hour sales presentation to sign up for long term scan package. . . period. I was wondering was the sales person said to come in your prior to the scans so I began checking Yelp and saw reviews. I have emailed them and said scan only no sales pitch or we want refund. If this us thru very disappointed in the company and sales person not divulging this. They did refund timely without arguing. Said this is part of the discounted upfront "deal".? read more

Very interesting to see what can be found by a full body scan. I have had no symptoms of anything - good stress test physical results - but the scan found one of my arteries to have a partial blockage. Now I can work with my heart doctor to ensure this is monitored and managed. read more

Although they do have a sales pitch, this is to help You make informed decisions and make purchases for these scans in the future. You can take your free scan and leave anytime. Yes they did a thorough family history on my husband and I, yes they tried to sell us a full body scan and some other scans but we were not pressured. After the scan results, I was contacted for a concern they had. Left a message for me to return call, which I did - several times with no response. Shortly after, my husband lost his job. I contacted to pay for scans done but release us from future responsibilities and they agreed. two scans were 2000.00 each but we still owe them 5400.00??? Be careful before using this firm. I am a fully licensed Oklahoma physician, obtained my MD in 1998 and as such I cannot recommend Advanced Body Scan. I scheduled the heart/lung scan for my wife and I for Wednesday January 19, 2022 and we were basically forced to listen a 60+ minute "up-sale" presentation that was worse than a timeshare presentation! Mark Cramer who presented himself as the company's CEO attempted a full 90 minute spiel that included pictures, graphs and even an orange to scare you into upgrading your scan for the "peace of mind" that you don't have cancer! Mark's tactics were ruthless and clearly were meant to fear monger. I can only imagine how many elderly nonmedical people he has pressured into upgraded scans or worse his "family plans" like the 12 year $16,000.00! After more than an hour I asked him if we could stop the up-sale and proceed with our scans that were already purchased, at that point he got mad and quite dismissive so we asked for a refund before exiting their Tulsa facility. We have sat through timeshare presentations before so it wasn't a big deal to us. The sales presentation was very informative and I learned a lot. You have an hour+ sales pitch before your scan. They use high pressure and scare tactics to get you to buy additional scans. If you can afford $4000-$10,000, that's great. They show you pictures and tell stories of people with hidden cancers who only survived because of buying additional scans. I wish I could give ZERO stars but this won't let me! If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. We purchased a state fair special for heart and lung scan. At the fair, I asked if this was one of those time share deals once we arrived at the office and the girl assured me it was not. Wrong! My husband met me at the office on his lunch break for an hour (which the scan should take only minutes) and they kept us there over two hours - close to three. The salesman verbally told us not to worry and that we had thirty days to cancel and after that the fees for cancelling would be super high (half of the total). He verbally said AFTER 30 days. He hurried us through the paperwork and said to just initial one of the pages about what we discussed. He said he had another appointment waiting. Rush! So we initialed. We did the "free scan" and a week or so later received partial results. They did not even send all of the result! The following week (only two weeks after the purchase) my husband lost his job. We remembered what the salesman said about having 30 days to change our minds. Called three or four times and FINALLY got someone to talk with us. He said he owe over $5000 for the initial scan as initialed on the paperwork. We have no job! He would not even consider working with us on lowering the amount. The salesman, of course had pushed us to purchase the highest package. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE! In 2018 we bought a groupon to do a scan for my husband and I to have the body scan. After a very long sales pitch which was not what we signed up for we fell for purchasing 2 of the scans for the next 10 years. I can't tell you how stupid I feel. They took this awesome service and have completely turned it into taking people's money. We did get out of our contract for one of the purchases. Not completely happy about having to keep the second one but we did and paid it off. After thousands of dollars later, we have not used it yet but have an appointment coming up. I received a text reminding me of my appointment today and guess what? It says I have to pay $199 in radiology fees! SAY WHAT?!? I have already paid thousands of dollars for this service and you want to charge me more! Please do not purchase these scans or don't even think about going in if you bought a scan at a cheaper price. It's not worth it. The sales lady told me that her brother died with a heart attack and some other stories that were basically scare tactics to get us to buy. Well they worked! And I feel stupid for believing them. I can't disagree with the other reviewers about the miserable sales pitch. I gave in after 2 hrs and bought a full body scan. I am healthy with no symptoms but the body scan discovered a "mass" in my kidney that was confirmed to be malignant by further scans and a surgery to remove it. It was categorized as stage 1, with no indication of spreading, so my prognosis is excellent. Say what you want about the process, but there is no doubt that it saved my life. read more

Wasn't prepared for 1 1/2 hr. timeshare style sales pitch. Should have known when they had a question about income before we ever started. When the health counsler/salesmen had us fill out what they call a medical history questionnaire thought it was odd most of questions dealt with what made us come in and family heath history. What it was really meant to find was hot buttons and fears to close the sale at end of the presentation. While the scan maybe very worthwhile I felt the tactics used to get you in felt deceptive. I have honestly never reviewed anything online but this place is ridiculous. My wife and I went in for a couples scan for 59$, which I thought was a great deal, not so much. We went in at 9am and sat through a relentless 90 minute sales pitch, selling us years of scans for thousands of dollars. We didn't purchase any of their scan packages so they sent us out to the waiting room then back to the scan which only took about 5-10minutes. The results just showed up today and apparently my wife and I are the healthiest couple on the planet, we both received a 0% calcium score. Not bad for almost 50 years old. read more
