When the nurse took us back, she put us in a surgery waiting room and two hours later-still waiting and never checked on, we hear others, that came in after us-being checked on, the anesthesiologist and doctors discussing the procedures with them and taking them back. They were so over booked, but yet the others waiting were all being checked on, while we were forgotten about. Our daughter is 6, she has had tubes in her ears and a T&A and we were never treated that way. We ended up leaving. We did not trust our child's care, to medical professionals who left us in a room for two hours, did not check on us and saw every other person who had checked in after we did. I do not recommend their facility, not for a child and especially not for any special needs child.

Thre are bookshelves (take one leave one) and puzzles (community) everywhere. What I didn't realize at first, is this was the waiting room. That's because they don't walk out and shout your name like most places. Instead they mark what you're wearing/your characteristics so the nurse can come approach you one on one to come back to see the doctor. All the staff I've encountered has been so helpful and genuinely caring, spending all the time you need to explain every detail. Dr. Moxley has been a life saver. Figuratively and literally. Also... that cafeteria is delicious, which may seem trivial, but that means a whole lot when you're spending hours on end in a place. Gouda mac and cheese for the win!!

Today a massage therapist is on-site giving free massages. What a treat for patients going through…read morethis process. It's things like this that help treatment. My wife went to Dr. Parkinson and had everything set up for back surgery and he knew she was a type…read moreone diabetic. At first he okay with her A1C for surgery and sent her to see a cardiologist to see if her heart was good. Her heart was in great condition and they said she was okay for surgery. Shortly after that my wife watched a webcast about robotic back surgery and thought she would get a second opinion before the other surgery was scheduled. When we had records forwarded to the other doctor Parkinson got a little huffy and dropped my wife. Told her she had to have her A1C in the 6's, now that is practically impossible for someone who has been a Type one for 50 years. I was really surprised how lax Parkinson office was when it came to Covid 19. Not everyone was wearing a mask and his assistant didn't introduce himself. We didn't know who he was. He wasn't wearing a mask and Parkinson came in with his mask down on his face. Very poor in these times, because he just laughed the usage of masks for the virus. We just though this was so strange for a medical doctor to act this way because of our medical back grounds. I would never recommend going to Parkinson because of his lax way fo looking at medical issues and his arrogant attitude. Find a good doctor who is not so touchy and works with you, if he was really good doctor he wouldn't be offended when a person who wants a second option. Especially when it comes to such a life changing surgery and want more confidence going forward!!!! Just be aware and be careful when picking a doctor!!!

I called Dr. Seat's office and they got me in so fast! My regular podiatrist had a 3mp waitlist! I am officially switching to Dr. Seat! Back to the toe. Dude. She fixed me up so fast. Wow. I am so incredibly grateful for how professional, quick, and gentle she is. Office staff is always very kind and helpful. I am so grateful to have found this office!

As it was, I couldn't even get past the receptionist. I chose this doctor- 40 minutes from my home- because of the good reviews. However, a doctor's quality is also reflected in their staff. The office person did notify me two days before to come in early because I had not filled out my paperwork online. Well, the day before my appointment I did print it out and fill it in- in case there were any unforeseen traffic events I would be prepared upon arrival. I was relieved when I arrived at 3:31 (yes, there was horrendous traffic on the way). I was only one minute late! I handed my paperwork to the receptionist, who was already unhappy. She monotoned, "you were supposed to be here by 3:15". Yes, I responded, but that was because I hadn't filled out my paperwork- so here it is filled out. At this point another person inserted herself and said, "You were late, we will have to reschedule you." Seriously? I looked at my watch- it was 3:32pm by this point. "Seriously?" I said outloud. Seriously. I had slammed into a wall and they were unbudging. I was simply stunned. There were no other patients that I could see. I didn't know how to respond. I couldn't comprehend the lack of kindness or empathy that I had just navigated through 40 minutes of driving to arrive there...let alone the constant pain in my feet. I didn't know what to do- so I just walked out. I will find another doctor closer to home.
