I was 22 weeks pregnant at the time and requested testing for RSV and Covid and it took 2.5 hours from being given a room to being discharged to be told I have Covid. I was told after they swabbed me for a respiratory panel that I was going to be allowed to leave since results take 1.5 hours and they call with results. I then proceeded to wait the ENTIRE time being told I was waiting on discharge paperwork just for the doctor to come in and say " I don't know why they decided to keep you here but there's only 10 min left on the test so we'll just wait it out." I then waited an additional 30 min for those results and another 15 or so before I was actually discharged. Overall, the check in process was exceptionally fast, but everything after that was not. Also seems to be communication troubles seeing as the doctor didn't know why I had been sitting waiting for an hour plus. I'll do my best to find other urgent care availability next time. ** as an insured customer, they billed my insurance for a total of $8,800 for this COVID test and longer than necessary stay.

I was taken by ambulance to INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital for a major heart attack, a "widow maker", where I coded while in the emergency room. The cardiologist did save my life with two stents, but that's the only saving grace for this hospital. A few hours after the event I asked one of the doctors what I could take instead of my arthritis meds, which were off the table now due to having to take blood thinners, and he said "just take more aspirin". If that was supposed to be a joke, it was not funny in the slightest. "More aspirin" is the last thing you'd want to take unless of course you'd like to bleed out internally. During that same event a nurse told me that the tiny off-white globs in my blood sample were cholesterol. Well, I'm pretty effing sure they're not or I'd be dead of stroked out and likely a vegetable or life support. Those "globs" were likely pieces of subcutaneous fat that were getting into the samples due to yet another poorly placed catheter. Rather than redo the poorly place catheter which caused the nurse to have to massage blood samples out of my arm (for the love of all things holy), she just continued to do the same thing that caused much pain and a massive hematoma (bruise). Just what one needs when on high doses of blood thinners. That's just the tip of the iceberg. I was under the Integris care umbrella of uncaring quacks for almost three years. A cancer scare is never fun, and it's good to know Oklahoma has a caring and professional clinic for us to go to. My radiologist and surgeon were both amazing. They were both careful about not rupturing my implants in all my procedures here. Definitely recommend if you have to go to a breast clinic.
