There are not enough stars to give Catie for what an amazing job she did. We were out of town when a tragedy happened and she was the calm in the middle of our storm. She was at the house within a few hours, helped guide us through what steps we needed to take and was empathetic to the emotional turmoil we were dealing with as well. She was 1/3 of the price we had been quoted by another well known company, The service she provided was above and bevond what we were expecting. I would without hesitation recommend her to anyone! On behalf of my best friend Kim and myself, from the bottom of our grateful hearts thank you for being the professional, compassionate person you are. ***sorry for the duplicate review, didn't realize the first one was from a yelp account I've never used. However, Catie is extra wonderful so she deserves 2 reviews from me!! read more

I don't think I can recommend Catie and Advanced Bio Solutions enough! Not only did they do an excellent job with all cleanup, but Catie is just one of the most thoughtful , kind and caring people I've ever worked with. She's very calm, cool and collected, the kind of person you just trust instantly, too. She took time with me on the phone, explained the whole process thoroughly, and made everything super easy and worry free. She's also a consummate professional and she made what was a difficult, challenging situation so much easier. And multiple times, she went above and beyond, too! This is the easiest 5 stars I've ever given . . . don't look elsewhere, because she's the best. read more

My cousin came across ABS, Catie & Jim, and what a blessing it was working with them over the course of a few months. Our Aunt tragically passed away and her home was a pretty bad hoarding situation. They came in and helped us with everything clean-up, maintenance and organization-wise. Catie was so reasonable. So professional. So trustworthy. So kind- going above & beyond. Definitely recommend! read more

The care and consideration from the team at Advanced Bio Solutions was incredible. I highly recommend their services.

All the 5-star reviews are well-deserved! My father, a retired physician, passed away last year and I had to travel from California to Arizona to clean his house. That's when I was presented with the daunting task of disposing of his practice's medical waste - everything from syringes, blood collection tubes, acupuncture needles, medical supplies and medical samples. All the usual stuff that comprises a medical practice. I called around to a few services around town in Glendale and Phoenix, AZ but Catie from ABS was the ONLY person who called me back immediately. I heard back from two other medical disposal services whose services didn't match my needs but they also recommended "Call Catie at ABS". And, boy, was I glad I did. Catie was wonderful, patient, understanding and extremely fair in her explanations and pricing. Using only a picture of the cabinet where I had consolidated all of my father's medical waste, she was able to figure out how much her service would cost, and it was fair and competitive. In less than an hour, her associate, Gilbert, came by and packed everything up. Although a man of few words, Gilbert proved to be charming and sweet, a true professional whose main concern was to solve my problem. A day later, even though I no longer needed further help, Catie stopped by to introduce herself to me. She thanked me for calling her and gave me information about her other services, including general cleanup services. She even collected medical appliances that she felt could be donated to organizations and individuals who she had helped in the past. All in all, although I may never need Catie's services again, I would not hesitate to recommend her. Call her - you won't be disappointed. Thank you, Catie and Gilbert - you are the best! read more

My ex partner committed suicide, a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head in a large shared bedroom. I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Police told me to reach out to my insurance as I needed the space cleaned. I had called my insurance company and they said that they would contact me, and send someone. I waited two days of not being able to enter my apartment /place of work, and was told that the vendor they requested hadn't accepted the job. I felt due to the nature of the incident that some urgency should have been used here by my insurance claims dept. This is very traumatic for me, so I reached back out to my local agent asking if I could find my own vendor. I poked around, and was recommended Catie by my best friend's family friend. I left Catie a message and she got back to me within an hour or so. She was so compassionate about my situation, and very understanding. First and foremost she asked how I was doing and how I was managing everything. Her sympathy and emotion made me trust her that much more. She assured me she would do her best to salvage what we could and she would clean up the scene. I met with her that day to drop off a key to the apartment and she went right to work the very same night. She kept in contact with me the entire time and let me know if she had any questions. As someone who is still grieving, she also answered any insurance related questions that I had for her. She is very knowledgeable and very thorough. She also kept in contact with me regarding what items she might be able to salvage, and what absolutely had to go. She wrote me a detailed list of everything that unfortunately was damaged out. She met my old apartment complex's criteria for repair and did that all on her own. The complex manager said she did a great job as well. I am sad I had to contact her through such sad circumstances, but she did a wonderful job and I will be recommending her and ABS if anyone needs. She made the process so much easier, and she truly cares. read more

I have had a working relationship with Catie, the owner of Advanced Bio Solutions, for several years. She is as honest as they come and always gives me the lowest pricing for Bio Haz waste disposal. Unlike dealing with the larger industry players, working with Catie is always a pleasure. read more

I found Advanced Bio Solutions while googling bio waste companies. Catie answered the phone and gave me quote right away and quickly scheduled a pick up time. They were so easy to work with and her driver Gilbert was very friendly and courteous. We will use them again next time we need a medical waste pickup. read more

Terry W, Only company to call me back. I had a garage full of paint and other liquid products that needed to be sorted and picked up. Catie was very professional and answered all my questions. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs a toxic clean up. read more

I cannot rave enough about the great work and care that this company takes with their customers. My elderly grandmother needed her house cleaned up after my hoarder uncle had taken over with his collection of urine saturated furniture, bandages, actual garbage AND a urine FILLED trashcan. The team not only cleaned her house but they truly took the time and effort to go out of their way to help her with whatever else she needed. I could not have asked for a better company in my family's time of need. Thank you! read more

I am disappointed in this firm. Unlicensed. Had a problem with a carpet install - the firm fixed it but came out at 8:30 PM to do so. This firm did not install a transition piece between the carpet and the kitchen linoleum and never returned to install it. It would have been an inexpensive fix considering the firm was paid about $35000 by an insurance company. Even after being contacted by the insurance company and the attorney that referred us to Advanced this company STILL did not call to even TRY to arrange the installation of the transition piece. This firm threatened to lien the property for non-payment even though they knew the insurance company was in the process of trying pay the firm. I would not even think about using this firm again for anything. read more

Catie is the most caring and kind person when it comes to dealing with elderly people. She took her time and talked to my Mom for an extended period of time explaining her services and what my Mom needed to do. I myself have spent time on the phone with Catie trying to figure out how to approach Moms situation. Thanks Catie for being there for us! Being out of town and trying to coordinate over the phone was easy because of Catie. 5 stars is not enough! She's a 10! read more

Very satisfied with the care and work completed. Promptly reached out, gave me a rough estimate/range of the cost over the phone and completed the work quickly and for the price quoted. Highly recommended. read more

I had the BEST experience with Advanced Bio Solutions. I had a squatter situation at my rental property nearby and Advanced Bio provided unbelievable customer service and even better results. Crime scene clean-up, death and homicide, drug contamination, etc. Nothing is too dirty. Don't even get me started on the convenience of them being open 24/7. Definitely reach out for any biohazard clean-up needs, you won't be let down. Thank you Catie! read more

I couldn't believe what an amazing job they did! I had a friend with a serious pet clean up situation (many, many cats.) We thought the house was ruined. They saved the day...and the house. They were incredibly collaborative, affordable (in fact, they were the lowest bid), and effective! Super clean. Very caring. Respectful. Kind. Professional! They have earned my highest praise. Truly incredible! Oh and their competitors were triple the price. read more

I can confirm that Catie deserves the glowing reviews here on Yelp. Someone left a mattress with "bedbugs" written on it, set against the alleyway wall of my parent's house in Phoenix. I know how bad bedbugs can be, but confirmed with others on Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/Bedbugs/) that there was a risk the animals in the backyard could lure the bedbugs toward the house. I wanted to deal with the situation quickly and minimize the risk of contaminating myself or my vehicle which is why I searched for hazardous waste removal on Yelp. Out of four options, only two responded that they'd do it (which just confirms to me how bad bedbugs are - even hazardous waste companies will avoid them!). Advanced Bio Solutions was the only company that could do it right away. Catie was incredibly accommodating given that I called her around 11pm and she was able to remove the mattress before 8am the very next day! She took payment over the phone and confirmed the mattress removal for me by texting pictures. Compare that to waiting over the weekend just to hear from the city about my options, and more than likely not even get the mattress removed until much later (it's the weekend before Christmas); I think Advanced Bio Solutions was clearly the right choice and well worth the small expense for my family's piece of mind. read more

My experience with ABS was fantastic under less then ideal circumstances My son passed unexpectedly and was found on Friday night. His apartment required a deep deep cleaning, for many reasons, that an ordinary cleaning service would never have been able to handle. Catie and her helper came out on the weekend and did great job getting the apartment to a point where we could go in and take care of matters. They were both very kind to my wife and I and they definitely went the extra mile to help get us through a really horrible situation. I can highly recommend ABS with absolutely no hesitation. read more

I needed help after a difficult situation, and didn't know where to turn. I needed more than a regular cleaning, and help with clutter. Catie helped me with so many different things, I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found her. She goes above and beyond! I highly recommend her and her team. Superb all around. I can not say enough about how amazing these guys are. Katie was top notch from beginning to end. She was extremely personable and sensitive to the fact we had just lost a loved one. She went above and beyond with not only the cleanup but also with providing additional guidance through the process of losing a loved one. I would HIGHLY recommend using the company if you've lost a loved one and need assistance with cleanup. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Katie for being such an amazing and helpful person. You helped my mom a ton and she misses having you around. =) read more

My experience with Advanced Bio Solutions and its owner, Catie, could not have been better. She and her company were, and continue to be, a true blessing. I had to go to Phoenix to clean up an empty, rat-infested condominium that had belonged to my mother. Regular house-cleaning companies wouldn't go near it. The condo was not only totally disgusting, it was dangerous. I needed an expert who knew everything about getting rid of biohazardous filth. That's when I found Catie (on Yelp, no less). From the first time we spoke on the phone, I knew she understood how to handle the situation. She gave me several pointers and agreed to meet me at the condo a short time later. What struck me most about Catie was that she's so proactive, but never in an overbearing or disrespectful way. She tells you what needs to be done, how it should be done, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. And she was willing to get started right away, which was a huge relief. Catie and her very nice associate spent several days (including one 18-hour stretch) disposing of everything in the condo, from the towels and personal items to the toilets and carpeting. They disinfected the place from top to bottom. They checked the appliances and cleaned the vents in the ceilings and the walls. They even carefully packed some of my mother's more valuable possessions that I had overlooked, and purchased and installed new toilets, which I expected I'd have to hire a plumber to do. Once the cleaning was finished, Catie ran an industrial air filter in the unit for 24 hours to improve the air quality, too. She even volunteered to keep monitoring the condo for me until I could return to Phoenix and finish renovating it. Her service has just been amazing. Believe me, if you have an emergency that involves biohazards, you won't find a more thorough, conscientious, and adaptable expert than Catie and Advanced Bio Solutions. read more

I recently helped a friend during the death of her child, which occurred in a vehicle. Catherine Eckert was spectacularly helpful during this horrible tragedy. She made the process for the family as seamless as possible. She handled all the details professionally and with genuine empathy, and she knew exactly what to do to solve complex issues. We couldn't have gone through this without her. I highly recommend her services. read more

Cathleen is a miracle worker! Our meeting with her was a chance encounter of her recommending her services after our father passed. From that moment on she performed above and beyond the call of duty asked of her. Her experience and connections in this matter were a tremendous weight off of our shoulders as she was able to get in touch with various members of law enforcement and resolve all the various questions we had. My father passed around Christmas which made this occasion even more of a burden to bear. Without Cathleen, I have no idea on how we would have been able to surmount this obstacle. When it came to the actual clean-up of the situation, you could barely tell anything happened there. Absolutely exceptional person with a resounding knowledge base in her craft. Would recommend her to anybody who needs her services. Thank you Cathleen for all you did and continue to do! read more

Catie helped me with something that unexpectedly came up last month and I felt very lucky to have found her. She was recommended to me when I had no idea who to call and she went over and above to help me. Though thankfully the situation was not tragic, it was stressful and confounding and Catie handled it with care, thoughtfulness and kindness. Prior to dealing with Catie I had four other professionals come over and none were able to determine the root cause of the problem. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your excellent service and for helping me get out of a bind. I highly recommend Catie from Advanced Bio Solutions. read more

Our Bella (dog) was diabetic and just passed. I later had a very hard time finding a facility to take the used syringes. Apparently, vet offices no longer take them. I had 2 containers that I needed to dispose of. I tried reaching out to friends on Facebook, called numerous places and was given the run around. I was told the fire department takes them, but did not get a return call. Finally called the Phx Children's Hospital and they gave me the number to this company. I received a call back within minutes and Catie was kind enough to come to my house to pick them up, so they can be properly disposed of. I am so grateful to her. Not only did she help me out, but she was very compassionate to the fact that we just lost our Bella to diabetes. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field. I highly recommend Advanced Bio Solutions!!! read more
