She was at the house within a few hours, helped guide us through what steps we needed to take and was empathetic to the emotional turmoil we were dealing with as well. She was 1/3 of the price we had been quoted by another well known company, The service she provided was above and bevond what we were expecting. I would without hesitation recommend her to anyone! On behalf of my best friend Kim and myself, from the bottom of our grateful hearts thank you for being the professional, compassionate person you are. ***sorry for the duplicate review, didn't realize the first one was from a yelp account I've never used. However, Catie is extra wonderful so she deserves 2 reviews from me!!

She's very calm, cool and collected, the kind of person you just trust instantly, too. She took time with me on the phone, explained the whole process thoroughly, and made everything super easy and worry free. She's also a consummate professional and she made what was a difficult, challenging situation so much easier. And multiple times, she went above and beyond, too! This is the easiest 5 stars I've ever given . . . don't look elsewhere, because she's the best.

I love Tempe for its programs to reduce, reuse and recycle. The Household Products Collection…read moreCenter was created for Tempe and Guadalupe residents to be able to drop off any hazardous materials that would be dangerous to throw away and to save any items that can be recycled. Some common items you can bring in to the center are: Light bulbs Aerosol cans Motor oil Fryer oil Paint Computers and computer monitors For a complete list, go here: http://www.tempe.gov/city-hall/public-works/household-products-collection-center-hpcc/don-t-trash-it 4 days out of the year the center has a Zero Waste Day. We actually didn't even realize we had come on this season's Zero Waste Day and were pleasantly surprised by the ease of being able to drop off our items. Everything was very well organized, with different stations for each type of item you are wanting to drop off. You don't even have to get out of your car! The staff here will take everything from your car for you. The city works with several vendors (E.g., document shredding companies, Goodwill, Tempe Community Action Agency) in order to make these days a success. Zero Waste Day allows residents to drop off additional items the center wouldn't normally take. This includes: Styrofoam Food donations Clothing Paper for shredding Bicycles and bicycle parts For a more complete list, go here: http://www.tempe.gov/city-hall/public-works/recycling-and-solid-waste/recycling/zero-waste-days From the Household Products website, "As of January 2018 over 98,109 residents have dropped off items to be recycled or reused at the HPCC. Since 2005 there has been over a 205% increase in participation including over 453,366 pounds of waste collected just last year with a 94% recycling rate! Total weight diverted from the landfill and storm drains is over 4,519,637 pounds of material." Very cool! Let's keep our planet as healthy as possible by recycling and reusing what we can! Details: -Open Fridays (7-12) and Saturdays (7-1) -Right next to the Tempe Fire Training Center -4 Zero Waste Days offered a year (Jan, April, November from the website) **You will need to bring proof of residency to be able to drop off items** (Driver's license or utility bill)

They take lots of electronics for free if you are a Tempe resident, today I brought my used 55 inch LVD TV and they took it for free. Would give 0 stars if that were an option. I strongly recommend avoiding this company if you can…read more From the beginning, the work felt rushed and low quality, with corners clearly being cut while insurance was billed premium prices. Communication was poor throughout, and attention to detail was consistently lacking. Part of the bathroom remodel was my responsibility since insurance wouldn't cover the undamaged portion. I quickly realized something was off once I started seeing their pricing. They quoted $3,400 for a glass shower door--I had it done elsewhere for $1,700. They also quoted nearly $9,000 for a walk-in shower with basic white subway tile; I ultimately had it completed with excellent craftsmanship for $6,400. I eventually stopped the job altogether after repeated issues, including reinstalling a mirror without leaving space for a backsplash--despite that being clearly discussed. To make matters worse, they used a black tar-like adhesive that made the mirror nearly impossible to remove without breaking it and caused wall damage. Years later, I'm still dealing with problems caused by their work. I initially hesitated to leave a review because the owner, Corey, came as a personal recommendation. The final straw, however, was the LVP flooring installed by their subcontractor. About two years after installation, the planks began cupping and shifting. I brought in multiple flooring contractors for repair quotes (around $1,500), and every single one said the same thing: the flooring was not installed correctly. There was insufficient expansion space, no transitions, and likely no vapor barrier--especially concerning given this was part of a flood mitigation project. When I raised these concerns, I was met with deflection and avoidance. Eventually, Alex acknowledged that corners were cut, but claimed it wasn't "legally required" at the time. Even if that were true, manufacturer recommendations exist for a reason--especially after flood damage. I still tried to resolve things reasonably and asked for a fair quote to fix the issue and move on. Their response was a $2,484 quote--nearly $1,000 more than every other contractor. Between the overpricing, poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and long-term issues I'm still dealing with, this was an extremely frustrating experience. I would not use this company again.
