COME HERE 4 SMOG CHECK! After lagging on getting my smog check and receiving a parking ticket i quickly looked for a smog station. This one is literally down the street from my house. I can walk to it. I called and asked if they could see me and what they're pricing was. I spoke with moe. His customer service is excellent. He gave me a great price. His was very courteous, he offered me a seat inside away from the hot sun and offered water. The smog check was very quick. Took about 15-20 mins. No hassle. Exactly want you want! So far this is the best smog check we have ever had. First, they asked us if we need any cold water. Then told us to wait for about 25 minutes, which they finished within 25 minutes as they promised. I have been taking my car to Moe over at Advanced Auto Smog STAR since 2007. I have followed him through 2 relocations over the years because he's that good. I learned about him through my car dealership who sent all their pre-owned cars to be smogged by him. Anybody can smog newer cars. Smog testing them are quick and easy. However, if you have an older car (I have a 1992 Chevy Camaro, 2001 Ford Escort and 2006 Honda Accord) you definitely should take it to Moe at Advanced Auto Smog STAR. He's been in the smog business for decades and knows what he's doing. If your car doesn't pass he always knows what's wrong so you can take it to your mechanic. I hope he opens his own mechanic bay soon at his new location so he can fix the problems and there then do a re-test. Anyways, I trust him 110% and always send him referrals. I hope this helped you make your decision if your new to the area or needing a new place to take your car to get smog certified. read more

First of all, let me just say that Moe the shop owner is a man of integrity. I initially took my car into him to see if he could help me get it smogged, after it had failed once, and I had applied for the CAP program. Well... After finding out that my car would need way more than $500 worth of work, which is all the CAP program would assist me with, he suggested that I just have my car Retired instead. He could have easily made $500 from the government program and charged me more, but because he is so honest and values his customers, he did what was right. Plus, he checked up on me to make sure that my Application to get the car retired was successful. Because of this, he has customers for life, from me and my father.
