Our truck was making very odd noises coming from the back end. We were half way home, creturning…read morefrom Chicago to the Seattle, WA, area. Did not want to lose additional days getting home. Mark's Auto got us in within minutes after I called. They immediately took it for a test drive, and diagnosed the problem shortly thereafter. Turns out a rear end seal was leaking, causing the truck rear end to slightly lower itself, allowing the heat shield to clang and bang on the drive shaft. They resolved the issue and discovered that the front end 4 wheel drive was not properly activating itself due to a faulty vacuum issue, and they resolved that as well. I was out by 10:00 am and on our way. I want to thank Dan for taking his time to explain the issues so I had full understanding of what was malfunctioning. Can't ask for more than that! I went to Aamco to get an estimate on replacing a clutch. Their clutch kit (just the kit) was…read more$700. Anywhere else the kit ranges from $289-$400. Labor estimate was $500 BUT they were "unable" to tell me what type of flywheel I would need. Somehow their computer couldnt look up what parts they would need to make the repair so my quote was an open ended $1200. They said they wouldnt know until they pulled the transmission....REALLY? Are people that dumb? Sure, let me leave you my car, NOT knowing how much you really intend to rip me off because you "dont know" I seriously hope no one is that naive.

Although service was awesome and the price was ok, this happened…read more I got my transfer case seal replaced because the transmission was leaking into the transfer case. They did the work and this may be an oversize. I went to get my oil changed at amazing place in rapid. I am notified that my plug to the transfer case was barely tightened. This was shown to me before they did the oil change. Because of this I give them 3 stars. This could have been detrimental.
