They're flexible with scheduling, always accommodating, and genuinely care. In stark contrast, I had one of the worst experiences of my life at Dr. Curington's office at the North Atlanta Center for Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry. I got sick and rescheduled an appointment--something most offices understand. But not here. I then noticed I was being overcharged for a crown procedure and decided to cancel altogether. That's when things got ugly. I was hit with a $4,200 "cancellation fee" for a service I never received. Yes, $4,200. And then they sent that outrageous bill to collections, deliberately damaging my credit. All for being sick and standing up for myself. At first, Dr. Curington comes across as warm and friendly, but that quickly fades if you question a service or refuse a recommendation. Based on what I've read in other reviews since, I'm not the only one who's experienced this kind of treatment. In my opinion, her concern is not your care--it's your money. Her staff reflects this as well, using pressure tactics and intimidation that no patient should ever deal with. After that nightmare, Magnolia Ridge Dental stepped up in a big way. Even though Dr. Curington refused to release my recent X-rays, Magnolia welcomed me, got me in immediately, and provided top-tier care--at a fraction of the cost. I truly cannot thank them enough. To anyone considering Dr. Curington's office: RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK. And to Magnolia Ridge: thank you for restoring my trust in dental care.

Terrible customer acquisition and once I wouldn't commit to their highest priced consultation, they bumped a simple exam to 2 weeks out even though there was an opening sooner. If you are looking for a regular dentist office for basic service, like a cleaning, this Dacula…read morepractice isn't it. The Good: The end result of the cleaning service is very good, but not the best. The Bad & The Ugly: After a cleaning service, a dentist typically comes in and evaluates or inspects the teeth. At least, this has always been my experience elsewhere. At this place, the dentist marches in with dollar signs in his eyes as though you walked in with 15 missing teeth, an overbite, and a misaligned jaw. It is clear that the objective is not to give you a clean bill of good oral health, rather, it is to tell you a host of services that you "need" that they are all to happy to go ahead and jot down in your file and get you set up with an appointment ASAP! I have a reasonable tolerance for nonsense, having dealt with the public in my career, so while the salesman, er, dentist was rattling off procedures, I just said "Hmm, hmmm." After he left the room, I was more than ready to go. But wait! The hygienist asked me to wait a moment while she left the room. That "moment" turned into what felt like 15 minutes of nothing, so my patience did expire, and I made it clear that I needed to go and asked WHAT IS THE WAIT FOR? That's when she owned up and said that they were pricing out all of the procedures and were creating a price list. Why the secrecy? Why couldn't the wait request have included an advisement that they were working on that? I'll tell you why, it's because they knew that there was NO way in you-know-where that I was going for that schtick! I had been here twice, and BOTH times, it was the same song and dance. Continue to wait? Nope! I left! Things may have been different if I have said, "hey Doc, I don't like xyz about my teeth, can you make a recommdation?" But, to just get a cleaning and having an it-ain't-broke-but-we-can-fix-it experience is beyond the pale for a medical facility! That's just like going to the service department at a car dealership. You go in for a simple oil change, but they come back to you with a price list for an urgent engine replacement and a new radiator. Smarmy, grimy, slimy to say the LEAST! If this practice is hard up for cash, how about getting out in these streets and offering services to those who actually need them? I see jacked-up mouths literally everywhere I go. Literally. Stop trying to make money by the hard upselling. They will see me again on the 12th of NEVER! I do NOT recommend for standard dental care services!

I try to be an understanding person when a service/food experience is just horrible to try not to get anyone fired. Somehow when I leave I'm able to look at the positives and I walk away just not going back to that location again. I'm going to change that today as I am now fed up completely. I initially called this dentistry on the recommendation of a friend. I called for Dr. Noorani and apparently he was booked for almost two months. I have a root canal that needs to be done and so I was obviously in tons of pain. They tried to have me go with another dentist at the office. Due to my horrible experience with bad dentists I did not want to take a chance and I told them to just give me Noorani's next available appointment. I waited just to get a call the day before that my appointment is cancelled. The office KNEW i was in pain and that I waited for this dentist yet I get a call almost two months later with them trying to throw the same dentist that I initially declined. I was extremely upset as I was in tons of pain but I gave it another chance (people make mistakes right?). The front desk lady said she would book me for a consultation appointment (with a different dentist a week and a half later) to just view it so they can prescribe me medication for pain control/antibiotics and then the Monday afterwards would give me my appointment with Noorani in the morning. The first Monday comes around for my consultation and I was still out of town for work, I call to let them know and ask them if they can just do the consultation on the same day (Noorani appointment) and ill get through the pain till then. She then tells me I never booked your appointment for next Monday. When I asked why she said "I wasn't sure if you wanted it". So you booked me for the consultation on Monday but didn't book the main appointment that I have been waiting for over 2 months (close to three now) with the busiest dentist in the world?! She then tells me my first appointment wasn't a consultation and Dr. Noorani was going to start the procedure... I had never been more confused in my life. I was completely silent over the phone and then she gives the final blow by saying that Dr. Noorani has also said he will only do the root canal if I let him also do the crown!!!?? This was something we spoke about the first day I called and they specifically knew I was going to another dentist for my crown and he is a dentist that doesn't have an issue with it. BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN he wants to do my crown which is very expensive almost $1000 over my primary dentist. By far my worst experience ever from a medical professional. You would hope that people in this field care about your medical needs and at-least stay true to their word. Calling a patient 2 months later the day before an appointment to cancel and making sudden ultimatums is completely unethical and to be frank upsetting. Man, I feel a little better now. Is this why people do this? Hopefully I don't see you yelpers again. Take care

The procedure was quick and I was notified there was a 10 day healing process and I would most likely not be able to work. My jaws were swollen, gum hanging which was all normal due to the surgery. Due to me being out of work for over a week my HR notified me that the dentist office would have to fill out an FMLA paper stating the procedure and down time.We faxed the paperwork over Tuesday on May 12 only to say they weren't receiving it. I had to call back the next day to find out they didn't receive it because no call was made to me. I notified them everyday it was for my job so I can KEEP my job and still get paid because I do have bills as well. We sent it over and over again and Friday May 15 was the final straw. I was able to send it to the front receptionist and she immediately received it and forwarded it to Dr. Halls team. I was notified by Tiffane( after i contacted her myself again) that his team stated they aren't able to fill it out. It states on the GADOL (Georgia Department of Labor) " Yes, an oral surgeon can fill out FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) paperwork. Under federal guidelines, the Department of Labor classifies dentists and oral surgeons as authorized "health care providers" eligible to certify medical conditions for leave. I don't understand why he isn't able to nor have I been getting the proper treatment. I paid my money like everyone else and unfortunately I'm only 24 years so I do have a long working history ahead of me. All I want is to be able to go back to work but I can't until I receive this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I canceled my treatment plan and do not plan to go back.

I'm glad I did. Walk In: When I first walked in I enjoyed what I saw and heard. What I saw was a nice comfortable place that set me at ease a little. What I heard was nothing, as I was the only one in there for my appointment. Mind you, I'm not a fan of dentists!! I've had so many things go bad with me during appointments and procedures. Examination: I already told the woman who was doing my examination, "Look! I'm not very fond of dentists too much!" I explained why and she understood. She said I was in good hands, I said ok. I told her if you even think you may hurt me by probing me somewhere, let me know first before you do! She said I got you. Probing starting going on and she let me know each time before it happened. Yet, I wasn't in any pain like I would be at other places. On a scale of 100%, I probably felt 20% pain during my examination. If I was anywhere else, I would have felt 85% pain! So now I'm winning. After the examination a treatment plan was discussed as well as appointment made for the treatment. Overall: As I do not care for dentists too much, I feel comfortable with these guys. Like I told them, as long as y'all numb me good, and I don't feel a thing, and send me home with meds after the procedure, I'm good!! They did guarantee me that aspect of my treatment.
