She makes the whole process feel seamless and always sends us off with a smile. Jill, the office manager, is truly the glue that holds everything together. You can tell she's amazing at keeping the practice running smoothly--everything is so well-organized, and the staff clearly works together like a well-oiled machine. They don't keep appointments. They sent a reminder text three hours before my appointment and say they require 48hrs notice for a reschedule. No problem. I plan to be on time. I arrived at 10:45 for my 11:00 appointment. At 11:10 I notified the receptionist that my time is valuable too. She went to the back to see what the hold up was as I was walking out the front door. She found me at my truck and said they were running late and that I had only made my appointment two days ago. I told her it was still an appointment that they had accepted and if they can't keep their appointments that I would just have to find another dentist. BYE! read more

Dr. Lentz and his staff are professional, efficient, kind and practice modern top notch dentistry. I cracked a tooth and they were able to get me seen in a timely manner. This place more than exceeded our expectations! My husband avoided the dentist for years upon years due to never finding a place he felt comfortable with. Anytime He visited other establishments, the visit would feel rushed, painful & the staff would seem less than caring! Not at Lanier Valley, though!! He says the staff is beyond wonderful! They're so caring, attentive & truly genuine! He needed a tooth extracted & some other work done (that he wasn't expecting). They took the time to sit down with him, explain the plan, the procedures, financial options etc etc so that he was 110% informed & able to make the correct decision based upon his own needs...prior to having any of the work done! I loved this and the comfort of knowing there would be no surprises when it came to the future payments & bills we would be receiving. He had a tooth extraction & deep gum cleaning on a Thursday morning. He said he experienced 0 pain from start to finish. And, again, Dr. Lentz & his staff were unbelievably caring, gentle & truly cared about his comfort level throughout the entire procedure. Minutes, hours & now 4 days later, he is still experiencing no pain! He has a couple more procedures to have completed over the next few months & for once in his life- he will happily visit the dentist again!!! read more

I do not like going to the dentist at all. I have panic attacks. One Friday morning while eating breakfast I broke the back of my tooth off. My dentist is not open on Fridays, plus I didn't want to drive to Tucker. So what do I do but check the internet. I call Dr Lentz office and they got me in right away. They were fully booked, but wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have any pain. I had to get a crown! Live that I didn't have to go back in 2 weeks to get it. They make them right there in the office. Needless to say no more driving to Tucker for me. read more

My initial visit was wonderful but I have had nothing but problems since then. Upon being told I would need $1600 worth of dental work, the office failed to even try to make payment arrangements with me and only referred me to Care Credit (high interest medical credit card). I told them I was not willing to do this and asked for a copy of my records. After two weeks of hearing nothing back, I requested them again. I finally received a very rude email with two picture attachments of my xrays - this is not my medical records. After all of that, I have now been balanced billed because what they want to be paid for xrays and what they have agreed to accept as payment from my insurance is not equal - although my insurance states they paid them at 100% and that I do not owe anything. This is a common practice by medical providers but is ILLEGAL and is completely unprofessional. read more

My family and I are new to the area and we got Dr. Lentz's flyer in the mail. After stopping by to meet the Doc and check out their office I scheduled an appointment for me and my oldest child (5yrs). Being a mom of 3 kids my time is very limited! When we got there for our appointment we were seated right away by an exceptionally friendly staff. The office staff was not accommodating at all. They are hustlers making a killing with missed appointment fees. I would love for someone to see if this practice is appropriate. Schedule the patient without there knowledge 6 months in advance and then when they don't come to the appointment blame them for not knowing . I never received the "text" messages they said they sent in the first place. Way to many other dentists out here to choose from to go back to this place. I was also not referred to an oral surgeon for a wisdom tooth removal. Instead it was taken out like the little shop of horrors. Please choose another location. read more

When brushing my 6 year old son's I noticed a visible dark spot on one of his baby teeth. I brought my son to Dr. Lentz for an exam. He confirmed it was decay, and reassured me that John Paul (my son) would be fine in his care. He was so right! When he finished the filling, my son was asking if he could have another one!
