Took almost 2 hours for the appointment to be completed. Overall a bad experience. Super disappointing since I started as a patient there years ago when the practice first opened, definitely not about the children anymore.

I had an appointment scheduled for our kids and they called my spouse (not me) to confirm the appointment. They gave her a deadline of 61 minutes to confirm the appointment and then canceled it. Message left at 9:59 am, appointment canceled at 11 on a Tuesday. I called several times but voicemails were full and not accepting messages. When I finally spoke to somebody they didn't care at all and offered appointments three months later. They made it very clear that it was our fault for not confirming our upcoming appointment in the 61 minute window they gave us. We signed forms to transfer our records to another pediatric dentist, submitted them and they never did it despite confirming receipt of the request. Our new pediatric dentist called Kwons for the records several times and finally got somebody to actually answer. They introduced themselves and said they needed to request our records, Kwons office just hung up on them and didn't even talk to our new dentist! We had to redo X-rays at the new dentist that had been done two months earlier at Kwons because they have not transferred the records. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe our experiences at Kwons. Dr Kwon should really look at his staff and realize that his name and reputation are directly tied to their attitudes, patient treatment, and actions (or lack of). Go elsewhere and save yourself the headache of this place.

With that said, they…read moredo get very busy and have limited days when their Braselton location is open on limited days and kids under 5 are only seen in the morning. Most of the time, we do wait 10-15 minutes after our scheduling appointment time to be called back. At times we do feel rushed, but the kids do get their X-rays done and my kids have very healthy teeth. We also got my son off sucking his thumb from this practice in 2-3 months after sucking his thumb for almost 3 years. Pre-covid the waiting room and waiting area inside was fun with games and light walls, but now they are limited. They have a prize wall too, after the kids' appointment. The seating arrangement for cleaning and consult is mainly chairs in a circle in 1 large room, so hygienists and dentists can move around. There are a couple of closed-off rooms for multiple kids and run-over.

We've had a couple different insurances and even paid out of pocket to stay when our insurance changed because we love Dr. Chris so much but this is the second time one of my kids has been scheduled more than our allotted 2 times a year for a cleaning per our insurance and have no idea why we were scheduled that way. I thought it was an honest mistake.. but now it's happened again and I've been trying to get a hold of someone to find out why and make sure they are more careful so this doesn't happen again and I've gotten the run around and haven't received calls back for MONTHS. Meanwhile the charges keep racking up because every time they send a bill it's an additional $10 charge. !!!MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT SCHEDULED MORE THAN YOUR INSURANCE WILL COVER!!! Now I'm having to pay for an extra visit out of pocket because of a mistake on their end.

I arrived at 10:45 for my 11:00 appointment. At 11:10 I notified the receptionist that my time is valuable too. She went to the back to see what the hold up was as I was walking out the front door. She found me at my truck and said they were running late and that I had only made my appointment two days ago. I told her it was still an appointment that they had accepted and if they can't keep their appointments that I would just have to find another dentist. BYE!
