I went to this office at or about December 2024 with persistent pain in an upper left tooth and specifically raised concern that I believed it might be cracked. I was told it was only inflammation from clenching and pressure from a missing tooth. Based on that diagnosis, I was two expensive devices - a custom-made night guard and a flexible partial denture and told this would resolve the problem over time. For months I followed all instructions exactly as given. The pain never fully resolved. The partial was not made correct, there was a large gap between the device and roof of my mouth; it never fit properly and caused food impaction, speech problems, and embarrassment from shifting and drooling. I repeatedly reported these issues and was told it only needed to "break in." When I later requested X-rays to take to a specialist because the pain continued, I was informed my dental membership plan had been canceled without my knowledge or consent. I was then denied access to my imaging and refused pain treatment. At that same visit, to replace the defective partial, I was pressured to switch to a cheaper metal partial even though Dr. Jeoung talked me into buying the more expensive plastic partial because it was, "better". I ultimately went to another dentist who found a severe vertical crack through the root of the tooth. The tooth was not salvageable and had to be extracted. I was told it could have been saved if treated earlier. After this, the Dr. Jeoung acknowledged in writing that "things did not go as planned" and offered to reimburse me, but only if I signed a full legal release. As of this writing, I have not been able to use either expensive device.

She had cavities at a very young age and had to be placed under anesthesia to fill and he made sure he explained the process and we had it at the hospital because he was concerned with the size of her tonsils. Long story short his concern led to her pediatrician (who had to clear her for surgery) sending her to an ear nose and throat specialist. We had her tonsils and adenoids removed and we would have never known the issue existed if it hadn't been for Dr Hicks. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The new office is absolutely gorgeous -

There's a movie room to keep your children occupied while waiting, or adults waiting for their kids. He does such a great job, when my daughter had 8 cavities (yes, 8, oops), he took care of it swiftly and she had no issues. In the new office, they have a gold coin to give to them where they can pick from several candy ball-like machines as a prize. I had an appointment scheduled for our kids and they called my spouse (not me) to confirm the appointment. They gave her a deadline of 61 minutes to confirm the appointment and then canceled it. Message left at 9:59 am, appointment canceled at 11 on a Tuesday. I called several times but voicemails were full and not accepting messages. When I finally spoke to somebody they didn't care at all and offered appointments three months later. They made it very clear that it was our fault for not confirming our upcoming appointment in the 61 minute window they gave us. We signed forms to transfer our records to another pediatric dentist, submitted them and they never did it despite confirming receipt of the request. Our new pediatric dentist called Kwons for the records several times and finally got somebody to actually answer. They introduced themselves and said they needed to request our records, Kwons office just hung up on them and didn't even talk to our new dentist! We had to redo X-rays at the new dentist that had been done two months earlier at Kwons because they have not transferred the records. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe our experiences at Kwons. Dr Kwon should really look at his staff and realize that his name and reputation are directly tied to their attitudes, patient treatment, and actions (or lack of). Go elsewhere and save yourself the headache of this place.

The first insurance wouldn't pay for the cleaning because 6 months hadn't passed and they did not inform us of this at the time of service - my kids teeth are in great condition and they did not need another cleaning. Too bad my husband took them this day - otherwise I'd have refused service - why are you completing work that's not warranted anyway? Even though I have agreed to pay this bill, that due to their negligence, they had the nerve to send me a 30 days past due notice. I'd already agreed with these people that I would pay $10 each month until January when my HSA was funded and they AGREED to this plan. Stay away from these people unless you just like being over charged, over serviced and just want to throw money away. I contacted the owner to look into this and my call was not returned.

Most of the time, we do wait 10-15 minutes after our scheduling appointment time to be called back. At times we do feel rushed, but the kids do get their X-rays done and my kids have very healthy teeth. We also got my son off sucking his thumb from this practice in 2-3 months after sucking his thumb for almost 3 years. Pre-covid the waiting room and waiting area inside was fun with games and light walls, but now they are limited. They have a prize wall too, after the kids' appointment. The seating arrangement for cleaning and consult is mainly chairs in a circle in 1 large room, so hygienists and dentists can move around. There are a couple of closed-off rooms for multiple kids and run-over.

The waiting room has a giant artificial tree in the lobby, as well as a separate room for patients to watch a movie. Once further inside, the decor is professional and kid friendly. They have TVs for the patients to watch during their cleaning or procedures. The X-ray aprons have smiley faces on them - how cute is that? To this day my son still gets a reward coin after his cleaning to use in their prize machine. :) Dr. Bongiovi is the Best! He is very patient, honest, extremely skilled, and compassionate.
