It was an hour away but he couldn't stay with his wire out for 2 more days. So I drove him out here. Once we got there they checked us in and took him back almost immediately. He wasn't back there for 30 seconds! They undid a clip stuck the wire back fastened the clip and he was done. No charge. I mean I was glad it was fixed, but I just drove an hour for 30 seconds and was looking at an hour drive back! 30 seconds?! Couldn't they have faked it for 10 mins or so to make me feel better about the drive? I mean come on... Really the fact that they got us in here asap, took care of it no charge, and we were done in less then a min... if it wasn't for the drive I would have said this was the best doc visit ever!

My child became very upset during the process, and I asked the provider to be gentle and mindful of her discomfort. At that point, the provider became upset and chose not to continue the procedure. I then requested to speak with management to address my concerns. I later followed up and also filed a report with the appropriate dental licensing board. I also have family members who work in the dental field, and after explaining my experience, they encouraged me to report the situation due to concerns that it did not align with standard patient care practices. After I raised my concerns, the office contacted me and tried to explain that the provider did not show frustration during the procedure. While I understand that everyone is human and emotions can happen in stressful situations, my experience as a parent in that moment felt very different and concerning. Because of everything that occurred, I felt it was necessary to report the issue and I will be seeking care elsewhere. I also recommend that other parents ask clear questions about treatment plans, medications, and billing before proceeding with care

After a few horror stories, I found Dr. Ashish Patel and Lawrenceville Family Dental Care. I initially went there because it was close to my office. The service was fantastic! Dr. Patel has the best demeanor of anyone I have experienced in the medical/dental profession. Even after he moved to his new, state-of-the art office a few years ago, and my office moved much further away, I drive an hour to be treated like a valued client. My son is super-sensitive and Dr. Patel just talks to him, tells him what he is going to do and does it with no drama or stress. I got my first crown there (and they 3-d print them IN-HOUSE!) Absolutely amazing technology, great staff, and friendly atmosphere. (You also get a goodie bag with lip balm, a toothbrush and toothpaste when you exit. Not a big deal, but when added to the overall experience, it is pretty special!)

From the moment I walked in, the entire experience went downhill. The staff immediately tried to…read morepush unnecessary add-ons, making the visit feel more like a sales trap than a place for real care. The most troubling part was Dr. Ashish Patel. He was condescending and demeaning, and his facial expressions made the entire interaction feel disrespectful and dismissive. Professionalism and empathy were nowhere to be found. This was, without question, one of the most unpleasant medical visits I have ever had. I will not be back. Minus 10 stars.

Sage Dental is a horror show -- and the hygienist is a dentist's nightmare come to life…read more We paid $900 with insurance for a rushed, painful "deep cleaning" that only covered half our mouths -- and they didn't even polish our teeth. My husband was told "no pain, no gain" when he asked for more numbing (he's a redhead and needs it -- they didn't care). The hygienist took her anger out on us. It felt personal. Staff were trash-talking the manager right in front of us. The manager herself was rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in patient care -- both in person and when I called to cancel our next appointments. This place is not trauma-informed, not compassionate, and not safe. Don't traumatize your children here. They're using reviews from the previous practice at this location to trick people. Do not be fooled. This experience was emotionally and physically harmful. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here.

Both teeth are back molars and are next to each other. The first visit to get them prepped started okay, but they decided to give me one plastic temporary that spanned both teeth, even though I told them I had been grinding my teeth for years. I drove home (30 min away) and within five minutes it cracked off. So back I went. It took 2.5 hours (!!!!!) of my actually being in the chair (there was a minimum wait in the waiting room) with the dentist drilling, grinding, and testing new crowns, and the crowns coming off immediately. Finally, they gave up building one crown covering both teeth, put a lightweight crown on one of the teeth (I think plastic again), and put a poorly fitting _metal_ temporary crown on the larger of the two teeth. I got a lecture in the meantime about how they'd have to cut the metal one off at the next visit. I could have cared less at that point - I just wanted it done. The dentist was kind of a jerk about it - and treated me as if his ability to get a crown to stick was somehow my fault. He also cut pretty well into my gums, which bled everywhere. Now I have had a ton of dental work in the past 50 years (braces, TMJ therapy, crowns, fillings, deep cleanings, etc.), and generally never have had a problem with them. Dentists compliment me on how mellow I am during dental treatments. But between the dentist's rather large fingers, his apparent lack of patience, pieces of tooth/cement/etc falling into my throat, and numbing medicine wearing off..... I had my first panic attack in years and was in tears after what ended up being nearly 4 hours in the dental chair in one day to prep for two crowns and get temporaries in place. Not to mention 2 hours of driving back and forth. Even though I was told two or three weeks to get the crowns back, it took closer to 4 before they called me to come back in (according to the next lecture from the dentist, it only took two weeks to get them back). More big fingers. They had to cut off the steel one (it turns out I was allergic to the chrome - so that month was already spent dealing with that issue), then fitted the two new ones, pretty much ignoring my concerns about how they were sitting while telling me that my bite would adjust within two weeks. Luckily, my husband came with me the next time since I was on the edge of panic the entire time. But about an hour later, I was done. So, it lasted a week. And the largest of the two fell right out again (no, I was not eating anything hard). No, there is no way in heck I'll go back. Unfortunately, I can't get into the new dentist for a week, but oh well. Oh, and both times I was there - their patient restroom was a disaster area. I've seen gas station bathrooms that were cleaner. That should have been a sign.
