Went into the little office/waiting area which has a good amount of seats and a little tv. No public restrooms. Once he was done with the other car, he came into the office to help me and acknowledged the Yelp $5 coupon. It was $49.75 for the smog and $8.25 for the certificate. $58 total before the $5 coupon. These folks are B.S. said we Change the battery drive it 60 miles & come back will give u a free test .. So we paid that $38 bucks .. im like why u even start the test anyways, when u saw the new battery . But anyways we paid and drove the car for 60 miles.. But a friend told me its safer 2 drive it a least 100 plus miles .. But we still went after that 60 miles cause it's gonna rain for the whole week .. So, it didn't pass again, as when u change the battery it reset the data on car computer.. Ai says it needs at least 120 miles to adapter . I should have listen to my buddy omg. Wow what a one man team.. he can do it all. From checking ppl in.. to registrating cars.. checking smogs to see if it passed or fails and to fill out the paperwork allllll on his own. I was probably the second person there and it started to get busy but he handled it without any problems. And THANKFULLY this shop opens on the weekend, so I am very grateful for that. They have up signs for Apple Pay and don't even have it!!! My bank refunds external atm fees, I would've had no problem getting cash ahead of time, IF I knew. Their page says they accept credit cards, nothing about a fee. I have issues with paying to pay for things. And again $2 is ridiculous. No issue w my smog, poor Han. Had my first ever smog check about a month ago and it was a super pleasant experience. I called first to see if I needed to make an appointment and they told me it's not necessary. When I got there, there was a couple of people in front of me. Only one person was working but man oh man he was so efficient! I was in and out in less than 30 minutes! I came on a weekday during the afternoon. The price was reasonable too, all he needs was the smog paper and I just have to fill out one small section and poof everything is done! They took care of everything on their end and about two weeks later I got my registration in the mail. I recommend bringing cash because he charges extra for card use. The only negative thing is the location. It's in pretty sketchy area so just be aware of your surroundings and mind your business read more

Made a call to verify if an appointment was needed. Person who answered was friendly and said to come in in about an hr since he was backed up. I decided to give him a little more time and came in around 2 hours after my initial call. There was 1 family waiting before me. Shortly after I walked in the employee came in gave me a form to fill out and advised me it'd be about a 20 minute wait. The waiting area is pretty small with only 4 chairs, but there is a TV to keep everyone entertained while they wait. The whole process took about only 30 minutes for me. It seems like the employee was working as a one man show. Poor guy was running in and out of the shop greeting customers, answering calls, taking payments, and working on the cars. When it was my time to pay he was extremely pleasant, funny, and knowledgable. He keep in good spirits despite the customer load after my arrival. He works very hard! I believe I paid $53 dollars for smog and cert. A couple things to know: -They charge a $2 fee when using debit/credit -$5 off your smog if you "check-in" on Yelp!
