I called for a price quote on a wheel hub assembly for an Express. D Ward was taking the order and…read morethe first quote was a bit high and she found a friendlier part cost. So I ordered that and I was assured it would arrive the next day. It did I was called promptly and I was lucky ught the bus since my vehicle was rendered inoperative. S Shaw rang it up and I asked for a bag due to the incredible weight of the part. He did find a bag with handle which I thankful for. I then realized I had forgotten three items and D Ward rang those up and I was on my way with all the parts that I needed. Thank you Baxter Auto parts/carquest you helped me out in a tough situation.

I first came to this auto parts store the day after Christmas, it's a tough day for anyone to have…read moreto work and would have been understandable if they had been less than happy to be there, but that was not the case. I needed a special bit to remove my license plates screws (once you've had your plates stolen you opt for these kinds of things). I wasn't sure what bit I needed, but the guys at the store on this day were happy to let me try out everything they had. I went thru about a dozen different bits looking for the one I needed, and the staff was of good humour and helpful the whole time. I ended up not finding what I needed here, but I have to give them five stars for being so helpful on a day when most employees are giving you the stink eye for making them be at work. The service alone will make me return. END NOTE: Shortly after I left the store, I realized (d'oh) that I had used Allen key screws on the plates and that I already had a set of Allen wrenches in my car. Problem solved!

First I walk into the store and get a dirty look from them, and I then try warranting a o ring that was part of an O ring kit and Autumn then said their not doing it when every other oreilly's store has done it EVERYTIME, she then says that a secondary issue caused the O ring to expand which was my reason to warranty swap it, and nothing secondary would cause it to expand. Second time I go in for a part, and I try and price match it because oreilly's wanted 1770$ and another store wanted 633$. I then look at the part and then see below a part number that MATCHED the other auto stores part number , ford parts has a secondary number underneath their parts on most and that interchanges the part numbers. Autumn then said she called the other store and still continued to tell me that isn't the correct part number and to go to another store, absolutely ridiculous and not respectful. I would advise anyone to not work with that person because she was insanely disrespectful, not knowledgeable, and rude. She tried arguing with me telling me the part numbers don't match when I clearly showed they do!

I purchased break pads at an O'Riley's in Washington State then tried to return them the next day…read morein Oregon as I found them cheaper elsewhere. The return was process but I didn't get my tax back. So glad I was paying attention. I questioned the associate Juan (who later turned out to be a manager) who told me I couldn't get my tax back unless I returned them to the store I purchased them at in Washington - and that it has been this way for the past 10 years! I then had to rebuy them (I felt like I was being scammed the entire time) so now I have two charges on my card and I get to wait however long it takes to go back onto my card - only problem is how do I now get my tax back as it will appear in their system as they have already been returned from the original purchase. I contacted corporate (Tony was a great help and very patient) and it sounds like their Oregon locations are grossly misinformed (I called multiple location and was given the same information) as Corporate confirmed they were wrong with giving me this information and they should have never said NO to me and made it right. Corporate wanted to give me a gift card instead of giving me my money back, which I refused as I shouldn't have to be given a gift card when I didn't pay with one. Ultimately, corporate had to call the store I would be returning them to in order for me to get my money back. What a fiasco and so much wasted time that could have been avoided. They lost a customer for life over $6!

Battery I bought from a Napa store died while still under warranty. I called up this store and…read moreasked if they would test it and or charge it. They told me to bring it in. When I showed up maybe 30 minutes later with the battery, the employee, Mike, instructed me to place my battery on a hand cart near the register and leave my name and number with him for a callback when they were done testing it. I left the store thereafter, hours passed and I never got a callback. So I called the store and asked for the status. I was told on the phone by Mike that the battery failed the test and could not be charged and I would need to buy another one. When I came back in the store, my battery was in the same exact spot, unmoved. I asked Mike if could get a replacement under warranty and was told yes, but only from the exact Napa location I bought it from. I thanked him for the help and took the battery to the Napa location I bought it from several miles away in battleground. While at that store to swap the battery, the staff offered to test it. I told them it failed testing at the first Napa but figured it wouldn't hurt to try. They tested it right there in front of me, and guess what, the battery passed the test and the staff then charged the battery for free. So it seems Mike flat out lied about the test and never did it; either out of spite or as a shady tactic to get me to buy a new $200 battery. I took the battery home and it worked fine. This isn't the first time I've got attitude and a lack of service from Mike at this Napa location. Every time I have gone in, he immediately starts following me through the store. When he asks if I need help I'll either take him up on the offer or politely decline if I know what I'm looking for. When I ask for his input or help I never push back and take him at his word, trusting his experience and expertise. I try to be polite and he just talks down to me and tells me "not to push it". What am I pushing when I ask "how's it going?" Mike? Your personal insecurities? I've only ever been polite when interacting with staff at this store. The other staff are kind and helpful. But Its clear from other reviews that Mike has some personal issues he really needs to work out. But I doubt an old dog can changes his ways. Avoid this Napa, take your business elsewhere...
