I visited your store today seeking a wiper blade replacement, but left extremely disappointed by the service. The associate I spoke with was dismissive, and cut me off while I was explaining my needs, and made it clear through his body language that he did not want to assist me. Despite my efforts to remain polite, the interaction was so uncomfortable that I chose to leave without making a purchase. I informed him that his customer service needs improvement. It's a shame because I try to support local shops, but the hostile energy here made me feel unwelcome. I wouldn't recommend this location until they prioritize basic friendliness and professional manners and I hope management addresses this behavior. read more

Battery died on me at 8:45, got it jumped and brought it over to advanced auto parts knowing it was late and they were about to close. Sam was more then willing to help and even offered to switch it out for me. I saw she was only using one hand so i asked her about it and she said her hand was hurt but not to worry cause she got it. I felt bad and offered to take care of it but she insisted she would take care of it with a big smile on her face! I was in and out in about 5 minutes. While it's not always a fun time when you need to visit an auto parts store, having friendly service is always a good thing to keep your spirits up when you're trying to repair your vehicle. I have always had excellent customer service from this location and they usually have the parts I need. Weather it be for my newer vehicles or my antique cars, they can usually get it. For the antiques I try to find the original equipment parts, but if I'm in a pinch, I'll use parts from Advance to get me by until I find the original. They also have an extensive assortment of cleaning supplies, vehicle accessories, oil, cold air intake systems, etc.... Advance runs many specials each month as well. Keep an eye out for their oil change specials and coupons in the mail. They can save you a significant amount of money. Clean store, excellent customer service. I'm a fan! read more

James was awesome! I needed help installing the windshield wipers I purchased from them and he offered to assist as I had no clue how to install them on my car. It was a relief to get this assistance. I always go there as the sales personnel really do help you and are friendly. I used to go to autozone as they were the only ones close to me but felt the customer service was okay but not as good as this store. read more

Went in for a simple battery change. Technician also replaced broken terminal as it was corroded. It took 2 techs 15 minutes in the hot Florida sun to change it as the bolt was frozen. They went above and beyond as this was not part of the free battery installation. I am so thankful. I highly recommend this store! read more

Good and bad. I went in after work to replace the head lamp on my car. I was unsure how to remove and asked Cody if he could help. Cody was very willing to advise me on the procedure. However his manager did not seem to want him to help. When Cody asked his manager if he could go outside and help me the response was " Yes but hurry it up" . I did not feel the love from the manager. After I had replaced my lamp ( 20 minutes with my lights on ) I tried to start my car and the battery was dead. This is the worst store that I have ever been in and after a couple of xs being ignored today was the last straw, every time I have been in there, at least 2-3 people of to the side milling around oblivious to everything, today I stood there while 2 cash registers finished up.as was next in line, as the register to the right of me finished up a new customer walked up as I was heading to him, he had seen me several xs as our eyes locked more than once, I stood there in disbelief as he took the guy ahead of , I stood there and said really?? and he just looked at me, I threw my stuff down and walked out as these morons do not have one shred of customer service and the manager must also be a backwoods moron as well just the WORST!!!! I was in need of wiper blades, driving home from work I randomly noticed and stopped into this advance auto parts store. Gentleman named Shane greeted me and was very approachable asking me if he could assist me. I'm normally not the one to ask for help, especially in regards to car parts because I feel I'm somewhat knowledgeable. But I did say to Shane that I was looking for wiper blades. He pointed to where they were and offered his help, I browsed the store and a couple minutes later was looking at wiper blades. Shane noticed that I was looking at the wiper blades, I had already looked up what size wiper blades my car required and was picking them out as he approached me. The stores clean and it's quite easy to pick out the wiper blades you need as they only offer four or five brand names. This guy was nice enough to make a recommendation, mentioning that he personally had tried and used the blade I was attempting to purchase and didn't like the way they performed, his recommendation is a slightly less expensive blade. He pointed out a couple things that I didn't realize were different and the lesser expensive blade was actually a better performing blade. At the register he offers to install these wiper blades for me, I have installed wiper blades in the past but I was wearing a suit and it is very hot outside so I took him up on his offer. He had them swapped out in less than 30 seconds, I was amazed. When I tried to tip him, he said that they do not except tips but that he appreciates the gesture. Long story short, I was very impressed and threw all my years and trips to auto part stores I've never witnessed this type of professionalism. read more

Who knew getting my battery changed would make such an impact on my day. I am a single mother of an 8 year old boy. All I wanted to do last night was go home and make dinner. But my car had other plans-a new battery was needed at 7PM. I went to this AAP location and was assisted by Ann. She was amazing. She made my bad day turn around and put me at ease. She assisted me with my battery purchase and was so caring. What impressed me beyond belief was how engaging she was with my son. I was dreading having my battery changed because I knew it would take a while and my son would get bored. However, she made it an entertaining learning experience for him. She explained (in a way a child would understand) how to change a battery and the why's that go along with it. My son was paying attention, asking questions and behaved. I went to the Advance Auto on Tampa Road. I was greatly impressed with the service and the store's condition - very clean and organized. Nick took my order for a new car battery for my car - not only did he give the me the best battery available and economically acceptable to my pocket book he installed the battery as well. WOW! what service. He cleaned and checked all the terminals, he neutralized all the excess battery acid from the old battery.
