So, I went to my friendly neighborhood O'reilly's on Arapahoe St. and Peter looked over the situation and says "I can do this." He had to work out in the parking lot with a cold September wind blowing and dismantled a large section of the battery box and front end trim. In ten minutes he had the old battery out and in 5 minutes had the new battery in. (Be advised, I had already been told by two other auto parts stores that it couldn't be done and I should take it to the dealership.) Well done, Peter at O'reilly's on Arapahoe St. Lincoln, Nebraska. After not shipping for weeks I finally called on 12/17 to inquire about the order, I was told they were behind and it would go out by the end of the week. The end of the week came and went and it didn't ship so I called the next week, to find out they were closed until 1/2 for the Christmas and new years holiday, okay called on 1/2 and asked what was going on with the order, again I was told they were behind and it would go out by Friday 1/3 or Monday 1/6 at the latest, Monday came and went and still no shipping. I called again today 1/7, now I was told they don't have the lift in stock and are waiting on it from their manufacturer and it would be a couple more weeks I asked why I wasn't told this before and he said he didn't know who helped me before. At this point I had zero faith in what they were saying wasn't another lie so I cancelled the order, surprisingly they were quick with that and the refund. It's unfortunate that they are one of the only operations making products for the Xterra because Xterra owners deserve better than all dogs offroad.

My battery recently died due to my brake lights not wanting to turn off, even when the car is off and in park. I took it to autozone thinking the battery was bad as well. They checked the battery and said it was fine. I told them about the brake lights and they said they'd check it out. Turns out my switch was bad and instead of having me pay to replace it they just Mcgyver'd it and it works completely fine now. I asked how much, ITS FREE! If I would've gone to a repair shop I would've been paying AT LEAST $200 and they probably would've wanted to "fix" more. THANK YOU EVERYONE THAT WORKS AT THE AUTOZONE ON 48th and Vine!! The second time though, ryan, behind the paint counter really listened and cared a lot about paint matching my color and went out of his way to help even with people waiting in line. The price of paint is expensive though.
