The root cause ended up being a missing NVH foam piece - something simple, but overlooked repeatedly. Bolt also worked directly with my warranty company and made a real effort to get as much covered as possible, which I appreciated. While they were in there, they were upfront about the spark plugs - noting that since access was already open, it made sense to take care of it now rather than paying for the same labor again down the road. That kind of transparency goes a long way. Overall, the team comes across as fair, honest, and focused on doing things the right way. It's safe to say I'll be going back to Bolt moving forward.

It's rare to bring a car in for an inspection in the morning, and take a new car home in the afternoon, but that's what happened to me. It wasn't a complete surprise, just a little sooner than I expected. Todd was very friendly and helpful when I approached him early in the day with questions and the disclaimer "I'm not looking to buy a car right now I just want to compare 2 models for future reference." When I returned to the sales floor later he was incredibly patient as I navigated a purchase I wasn't quite prepared for. Todd was very informative about the options I was considering, and really won the day (and the sale) when the specific vehicle he brought over for me to check out was basically my dream car. I saw him approach that "autumn green metallic" Forester Wilderness and I knew I didn't stand a chance at resisting! When I came to take possession of the car Todd enthusiastically went over all the bells and whistles with me so I could be confident driving off the lot. He even made sure to show me how to turn off the features I didn't want. There's more I could say but you get the idea. I also MUST shout out to Tina, Ellen, and Buddy in the service department. I'm so glad the new owners kept them on bc they're the heart of this place. He treated me like a child and was very unhelpful. At the end of the day, this ended up being a blessing in disguise because I now drive a Lexus and have never been happier. The service and reliability is much better than what I experienced with Subaru. I am a salesman myself and cannot believe how disrespectful and dismissive Phil was to a longstanding Subaru customer. I got the inspection done today and the experience was great. Jay, one of the owners, welcomed me to the shop, very friendly. I sat in the waiting area after they started the inspection. There was another customer there and we started chatting. He couldn't praise the guys there enough. This other customer and I started lamenting how a lot of businesses don't provide the same customer experience we were use to from when we were younger (yes, bunch of old guys lamenting the world is going to...) and he said J&J is one of the exceptions. Jay showed me some additional concerns on my car...brake and tire wear. He showed me the problem areas and said I have some time left but these expenses are coming down the pike. It was refreshing to see this sales approach...I was aware he was upselling the other services they offer and I was totally happy with that...that's what all businesses must do. It was the approach, education, and showing me why the repairs would be needed that convinced me that when I need the work to be done, I will go to Jay and his team. Well done guys and keep it up! On Monday of this week, my daughter had to have the $22,000 vehicle towed from the parking lot of her job after working a 12 hour shift First, Romeo told her that they did not have to proper equipment to diagnose the issue. Upon sending the Jeep over to a dealership that is specific to that brand, they diagnosed it with having "electrical issues". So almost a week later, Romeo still has not offered Savannah a rental vehicle or a resolution to this issue! Zero stars!!!!​​

I was told by Steven that the car was in "perfect condition." I was assured repeatedly that it was exactly as described. Based on those representations, I invested significant time and money, including travel expenses and a hotel stay, to come see the car. When I arrived, the reality was completely different. The vehicle was covered in dozens of small scratches and dents. On every single panel of the car. Even the roof! It looks like a tree fell on it probably where the large branches didn't hit it, but all the small ones did. Or it got run off the road into brush or the like. Calling it "perfect condition" was not just inaccurate--it was blatantly misleading. It was obvious that the car had substantial cosmetic damage that anyone could see immediately. Steven was unpleasant to work with. He was pushy, snobby, entitled and just plain rude sometimes. After getting T-boned by a car at 50mph into my drivers side door, my car was totaled. I was trying to figure out transportation to New York. He impatiently told me to "just drive it. It's not that far." 15 HOURS. He also told me I couldn't have an auto delivery service pick it up because "I had to sign for it in person." He also told me I could only come on days when he was there and gave me HIS schedule for me to work around?? He also went on about needing to schedule all appointments that "it was rude to just show up to a used car dealership." Ummmm I'd been car shopping at a dozen prior and they were thrilled when a customer pulled in - even without an appointment. He informed he "He didn't know where I went to, but he's a professional." And that's just the highlight reel of correspondence. After leaving without the car, to make matters worse, when I requested the return of my deposit, the dealership was unresponsive and difficult to deal with. Communication became sparse, and obtaining a refund was far more complicated than it should have been. This experience was frustrating, costly, and incredibly disappointing. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here. If you value honesty, transparency, and basic customer service, look elsewhere.
