I had the car battery light come on and stopped by this store with my kids on Sunday, March 2nd…read morearound 11-noonish. There was a middle aged dark hair guy and an older man working. They had long lines so I waited in line like everyone else. When it was my turn, the dark haired middle aged guy asked what I needed. I explained I didn't know but the battery light came on. He gave me some device and told me to plug it in somewhere. I know nothing about cars. Had absolutely no clue. When I go to my advanced auto parts near Littleton, they come out and help me. Well, I asked him if they could do that and he said he's too busy and can't leave his coworker alone. Ok, that's fine. A customer after me offered to help. He said the employee is not being helpful but I get it, they were busy. I came back later when there was only one person in line and he still didn't want to help me even though I waited long enough and it was my turn. He proceeded to take the next customer so I just went out in my car and signed up for AAA and spent money I did not have today. A few minutes later, that employee that refused to help me was outside helping another customer- a guy with his car. Soon after that, he was working on his own car. They were not very helpful or nice at all here. Prior to this my daughter's car broke down and my pipes broke so I was on my way home to meet the plumber. I wanted to cry but I have to be the strong single mom that I am. I just wish men like this were more accommodating when they see older ladies that could use the help. They seem to help who they want. Discrimination at its best. This is a terrible store. I didn't make a scene. I just left. I really don't need to beg anyone to do their job. If they don't want to help and are just there for a paycheck, karma will come back around to them and their family. Never going back to this store again. Wasn't pleasant at all.

So, I tell him I need solenoid, gasket, filter and Trans fluid, gave him vehicle info, etc. He is still being rude, pulls up filters, looks at solenoid, tells me they don't have any in stock, then asks me what kind of solenoid I need, I went to look at phone, to look at picture of code that came up, but he quickly walked away and began helping people behind me, then proceeded to put things away and seemed to be finding anything else to do then to return to counter where he left me standing, finally comes back up and says "you figure it out yet" I went to show him my phone w code, and without even looking at it or letting me say not one word, he says we don't have any, and walks away again. I don't think this is standard procedure, and I also work in customer service, and if I were to treat any customers this way it would be absolutely unacceptable. As a female that does not know shit about cars, it's already a little uncomfortable having to go into auto parts store bymyself, but is that not what they are supposed to be there for, as part of their job? And come to find out this guy is a manager!! Unbelievable how I was treated, me being a female, or just being there was enough to set you off. Just wanted this to be known in case any other females need to get any parts, I would suggest avoiding this location. Tony at the Ralston store is awesome, though.

I would love to give this location 5 stars, but from the get go it was an utter mess and a waste of…read moremy time. I ordered a battery online at this location. Not 10 min later I got an email saying it was ready for pickup. I showed up at the store and got this very young kid, likely his first job, who I informed that I had a battery ready for pickup and I needed someone to help with the install because I get hand tremors and have dexterity issues in my hands due to an illness. He went to the back to find someone and disappeared for around 10min. When he re-emerged he started helping another guy that was behind me in line. This went on for 20-25min of this kid trying to make a key or something. No one ever showed up to help me, no one showed up to finished checking me out. The kid saw me numerous times and said nothing. Finally, I got back in line for a variety of reasons I didn't just go grab someone else. This new gentlemen that helped me couldn't find the battery and said it likely was taken by another store and no one caught it. At this point my professional attitude started to shift. In that moment, another employee told him to check in another location and he found it. Day was saved thanks to both of these employees. The guy was nice enough to install the battery for me, which he didn't have to do, and we talked some and I was on my way. Had these other 2 employees not saved this experience this would have been 1 star. All this aside, I recognize that the young man that first helped me likely was new and maybe even his first or second job. I would encourage, at the very least, that someone train him to at least tell a customer why he is helping someone else and that he will be right back with them. This would have bought another 10-15min from me and saved a 3 star review and a lot of frustration.

I went in because my engine light was on. It appeared to have all teenagers, but maybe there was an…read moreadult in there somewhere. They spent 5 minutes arguing about who had to go outside and scan my car. Once they forced the whiniest one (the one that crept claiming he didn't know how and was complaining about just wanting to go home), he and a coworker went out. The coworker was going to teach him. It took seconds to scan it and it was discovered he actually did know how, he just didn't want to do it. We went back in and another coworker printed the paper. It took less time to scan and print the paper than it did for them to argue about who had to do some easy work. There were about 5 people arguing about the work. I went back in the next day (today) to speak with the manager. She smiled and laughed and said, "yeah, that's the new hires. They don't like to go outside". So, she obviously doesn't care about training them properly or about good customer service. I did commend the young man with long curly hair, I wish I got his name. Glad they have you!
