I even pushed him - saying I was interested in the top-of-the-line Optima batter. He wouldn't budge - told me a few stories and reinforced his selection that was about $100 cheaper. I went w/ his recco. He installed it, car started right up. I suppose only time will tell. But I'll definitely go back based on my experience w/ Miguel.

I took the new part & was sold a banged up one...the metal lines are kinked & bent... They had long lines so I waited in line like everyone else. When it was my turn, the dark haired middle aged guy asked what I needed. I explained I didn't know but the battery light came on. He gave me some device and told me to plug it in somewhere. I know nothing about cars. Had absolutely no clue. When I go to my advanced auto parts near Littleton, they come out and help me. Well, I asked him if they could do that and he said he's too busy and can't leave his coworker alone. Ok, that's fine. A customer after me offered to help. He said the employee is not being helpful but I get it, they were busy. I came back later when there was only one person in line and he still didn't want to help me even though I waited long enough and it was my turn. He proceeded to take the next customer so I just went out in my car and signed up for AAA and spent money I did not have today. A few minutes later, that employee that refused to help me was outside helping another customer- a guy with his car. Soon after that, he was working on his own car. They were not very helpful or nice at all here. Prior to this my daughter's car broke down and my pipes broke so I was on my way home to meet the plumber. I wanted to cry but I have to be the strong single mom that I am. I just wish men like this were more accommodating when they see older ladies that could use the help. They seem to help who they want. Discrimination at its best. This is a terrible store. I didn't make a scene. I just left. I really don't need to beg anyone to do their job. If they don't want to help and are just there for a paycheck, karma will come back around to them and their family. Never going back to this store again. Wasn't pleasant at all.

Denver Yelpers are slackers :) This place is right next to my storage place, and thank God, as I make 3 runs to it....when your only ride is one that needs 8 lanes to turn, you don't want to make errand runs. First stop - the movers are an hour late, I have spent 1.5 hours self loading. No lunch or water. A diet Pepsi, Aquafina, Beef Jerky and a Snickers later, I am revived. Second stop - the movers need rope and bunjees. I trudge over. Third stop - the lock I have won't fit. I buy a new one, some more caffeine, and hit the road. Good service, great location :)

Every time I go, the staff is friendly, helpful, and just awesome…read more One visit which sticks out in my mind, is when I needed to get my headlights (the bulbs) replaced. Instead of trying to figure out which of my husbands tools would fit (which takes forever), I was going to buy one to keep in my car, since I go through bulbs often. When I asked for help, the guy who helped me said I didn't need to buy a tool, because I could change the bulbs without pulling the headlight out. Yeah, I tried that and it's frustrating. Instead of selling me the tool, he took 5 minutes of his time and replaced the bulbs for me. His easy 5 minutes = an hour of frustration and eventual tears on my part. While I would have liked the tool to have for future use (and frustration), it was really nice that he took time to do change my bulbs and get me on my way. The helpfulness of the employees is what keeps me coming back, and I recommend this place to everyone who needs to get parts for their car.

Not 10 min later I got an email saying it was ready for pickup. I showed up at the store and got this very young kid, likely his first job, who I informed that I had a battery ready for pickup and I needed someone to help with the install because I get hand tremors and have dexterity issues in my hands due to an illness. He went to the back to find someone and disappeared for around 10min. When he re-emerged he started helping another guy that was behind me in line. This went on for 20-25min of this kid trying to make a key or something. No one ever showed up to help me, no one showed up to finished checking me out. The kid saw me numerous times and said nothing. Finally, I got back in line for a variety of reasons I didn't just go grab someone else. This new gentlemen that helped me couldn't find the battery and said it likely was taken by another store and no one caught it. At this point my professional attitude started to shift. In that moment, another employee told him to check in another location and he found it. Day was saved thanks to both of these employees. The guy was nice enough to install the battery for me, which he didn't have to do, and we talked some and I was on my way. Had these other 2 employees not saved this experience this would have been 1 star. All this aside, I recognize that the young man that first helped me likely was new and maybe even his first or second job. I would encourage, at the very least, that someone train him to at least tell a customer why he is helping someone else and that he will be right back with them. This would have bought another 10-15min from me and saved a 3 star review and a lot of frustration.
