We needed an extra key fob for my son's car and decided to visit this location. The young man that…read morehelped us was very friendly and rang us up and we paid cash. After checking his stock, they didn't have the fob in stock at the location, but he could have it at the store later that afternoon. We were fine with that and decided it would work out better if I took the car the next morning to get the fob. I go in Saturday morning and a different man was able to get the fob cut and programmed and sent me on my way. Very nice and easy. Now here we go. I'm back at home prepping some food for the day and I get a phone call from Batteries +.... That's odd. I answer and it is the man that cut and programmed the fob for me this morning. He proceeds to tell me that he forgot to collect payment for the fob.... I informed him that we paid yesterday with cash. He says he doesn't show that we paid, but I'm telling him we did. He hangs up. Shortly after, I get another call from Batteries + and it's the man again and he says that they have no record of me paying and the manager checked the video and there wasn't anything on the video showing me paying. He says I need to go back and pay and if I don't, they will prosecute me for theft! Theft!! (How do you steal something that they gave me and I paid for?) I told him that they better check the video again. Now I'm searching the house for the shirts I wore the day before to see if I left the receipt in the pocket. My wife already had the shirts in the washing machine. We proceed to stop the machine and start digging trying to find the shorts I wore to see if there is some part of the receipt.... I'm steaming at this point. Angry at being accused of theft and trying to dig through wet clothes for a dumb receipt. Now we get another call from Batteries + and it's the same man. He was very remorseful and apologized saying that his manager looked at the video again and saw me paying for the fob. He initially was looking at the wrong register!! So now they have to retract the accusations placed against me. Of course, the manager was spineless and had his associate do the calling and apologizing instead of calling me himself. Not much of a leader. There were other ways they could have been checking if I paid or not before quickly calling and threatening. I guess the register had an extra $146 from the day before that they had no clue came from. I guess you can assume that I'll never go back there.

Likely, there was some miscommunication... But, wow, did the people at this dealership bend over backwards to make it right? Yes!!! Not only did they reach out to us (instead of us trying to follow up), they overnighted the paperwork for me to sign (I travel for work) and they drove 2.5 hours to deliver the car to my driveway. But the best part about working with Apple is they that they cared that I felt slighted. They did everything they could to clear up any misunderstanding. Unbelievable. As a senior citizen, disabled veteran, and female, I left this purchase experience feeling misled…read moreduring the financing process. I arrived at Apple Sport Chevrolet fully intending to use my own financing through my credit union. Very early in the process, the sales department was quick to tell me that I could not use my own financing and that the dealership required customers to use their financing in order to purchase a vehicle. Shortly after that conversation, the finance manager came in strong behind them to reinforce that message, making it very clear that I would either have to use the dealership's financing or pay cash. The implication was essentially "finance with us or you cannot buy the vehicle." Let me be clear -- I am not naïve and I am not uninformed. I am a retired Colonel from the United States Army and currently a college professor at Baylor University. I fully understand how dealership financing works. Rather than waste additional time starting over at another dealership, I chose to proceed with the purchase and the dealership's financing knowing that I would immediately refinance the loan with my credit union, which I ultimately did. Unfortunately, it took nearly a full month dealing with the small credit union the dealership placed the loan with before I was finally able to refinance it this week. The tactics used in the finance office felt predatory and deceptive, and the coordinated messaging from both the sales staff and finance manager made it clear the goal was to force dealership financing so additional products and warranties could be added to increase profit. To be fair, the sales team themselves were otherwise very friendly, respectful, helpful, and low pressure during the vehicle selection process. However, when it came to financing, the experience changed completely. Apple Sport Chevrolet should be ashamed if this behavior is condoned by management. Customers deserve transparency and honesty, not pressure tactics. I will absolutely warn others about the financing practices at this dealership.

Never once was told that they were running behind, apologized for the long wait, nothing. Why have me schedule an appointment if you're not going to honor the time the customer scheduled the appointment. That was a complete waste of 2 hours of my day. Then when they finally brought my car up to the front, they parked behind a car that was in a line and then parked another car right up to the back of my vehicle where it was completely difficult to get out. I had to back up and move forward twice to get my car out from between the two vehicles. Service & time management deserves one star. Only gave two because the lady at the service desk was friendly, although still no acknowledgement of the time it took for the service. Will not be returning here for an oil change again.

I just given them all my information for the receipt on the tire patch. I go in today at 12:50 and a guy tells me that there is one ahead of me and one already on the rack, they can do it around 3:00. The guy that helped me yesterday tells him that the guy he sent away earlier is coming back at 3:00. Then he tells me it's best to make an appointment and I told him that he told me to come back today between 1230 and 1:30. He just turned and kept helping the guy he was already helping. The first guys says he is sorry, they can get me in tomorrow. What the F are you making appointments for if you just take walk-ins and disregard the appointments? They were a huge waste of my time.
