I'd call them DateSavers Auto Parts. Here's my story. I met my date for a movie at the Galleria next door. She said her car barely cranked and the clock had lost time. Sure signs of a dead battery. After the movie we headed straight over to Advance. Luckily, there were no customers at the time we arrived. Advance offered a free battery check with a more sophisticated tester than I've seen in awhile. Her battery failed the test almost immediately. Staff presented options at several price levels with varying warranty options. Pricing was competitive. Best of all, when it came to installation, they did it quickly and for free. In about 15 minutes, she was back on the road with a new top-of-the-line DieHard battery and a full 4 year free replacement warranty. And we were off to dinner nearby and to see the Maywald Christmas light display with friends. Yep. DateSavers Auto Parts. They earned it fair and square. read more

The manager has always been helpful but I was assisted by a female who was extremely professional and without looking up my specific vehicle, knew exactly what I needed. I came in couple weeks ago. My head lights have a foggy haze on them now and saw they have a cream you can buff on and off and it's supposed to clean that haze off. It didn't work. $10.00 for nothing. The 2 guys behind the desk cashing me out were nice and quick as I was cashing out. Bummed the product didn't work. read more

I bought a newly rebuilt engine only to find a bad oil pump. It was returned within 6 months and replaced. The 2nd rebuilt ran bad out of the box. Several thousand dollars later and 2 months past 3 year warranty it was discovered that the 2nd engine had a "horrible rebuilt head"!!! Very poor quality parts!!!!! read more

Nice people and they seem to have many products biut they sell too much of one item which is a turn off but did find items rain x a wonderful product line that keeps rain from forming spots which in fact a major plus in my book . I purschased several of these so made sure I had plenty for future use it located on a strip mall where HEB is and have several orher stores close to it including a Pizza parlor. Shopped this store since 2015. Countless times it has saved my vehicle repair and maintenance projects (3 cars and a motorcycle). Always room in their oil recycling barrel too. I stopped shopping Wallyworld, Amaz/jungle, RockingRoll Auto, with the new SpeedPerks program, oil change bundle deals, and coupons/rewards offered with SpeedPerks program. Same day delivery is available too... right to your door .... no charge!!! Staff at Bee Cave are fine in general. Albert is a great guy and always helpful. I've been using the store for 10 years and today I finally have had enough. I'll drive 20 minutes out of my way to go to a store that can do the job right and treat their customers with respect. Part of it might be my fault for not doing enough homework before I show up. 9 times out of 10 Alfred or Jerry will direct me to the wrong part or give me wrong information. I'll have to make two or three visits todo one simple task. From replacing my gearbox and steering components were out of the five parts I got, four of them were wrong and one of those parts they gave it wrong to me twice. Changing cabin air filters that are not the right size or short me on the recommended number of quarts of fluids for my truck which leave me stranded till I can use my wife's car to drive back up there. Today I called them on the phone and was treat with utter disrespect on the phone. In person they're nice and respectful but unreliable. I'm the type of person that doesn't waste time with leaving reviews but after 10 years they finally made me do it. read more

Horrible service, made me come in twice for a defective battery that is only 7 months old, and then did not honor the warranty. I've tried to be patient, but this is unacceptable. I'll gladly drive by this store in the future and shop elsewhere. AutoZone and Napa honor warranties, have a better system and better staff anyway. read more

Friendly staff, parts are a good price, and definitely a good option for battery replacement. I almost had to take it to a shop because of a terminal issue, but they managed to get the old battery out with some extra tools and replaced it with a new one. Thumbs up! read more

I thought the military discount was a corporate discount for regularly priced items? I definitely do not feel entitled to a discount and offered no argument against him, but I have also never been told no to a military discount for advanced auto parts. read more

These guys are friendly and helpful. They are patient, and many of them really know their cars. So while they're doing a lot of free stuff for you, like changing the wiper blades that would have eaten an unholy hour of your day, they can also guide you on whether you're getting good advice or the hard sell from the tire or repair shop. It is also possible to have an engaging conversation on the relative merits of skateboarding and taekwondo and whether middle-aged women should know how to ride a motorcycle. I enjoy my visits here. My sister was visiting from out of town and discovered she had a dead battery last Sunday. After getting a jump and driving from Wimberley to Bee Cave, we made it to Advance Auto Parts. I wish I had the name of the woman who helped her. She was knowledgeable and helpful, and ended up installing a new battery. She did not try to oversell and in fact offered to test and/or charge the old battery. A first rate operation. read more
