But he got one idea and started looking for a set in the store So that I wouldn't have to go to another store specifically. Then he asked the older man the price for the set is very small the blemish at this point the older man came took went check the prices and he says it's on sale now - then he said I got a very good price for this set so I say if you say is work why should I need pay for one $5 when in a set of four it was $4,. So better if I take more set they buy separate / then he asked what exactly I want ( I say I need 11 lug nuts ) he started discussing with the guy why he wants to sell me this set is different from what i want - and they talk i finally stopped them for talk and I say -ok give me 10 of these and do then quickly and I'm going to the next store, this very indignant one tells me that he won't sell me anything if I'm supposed to talk to him like that... I looked at him, laughed and just left. It was the first and last time I entered the store. I don't know my friends the situation, and they say then I will come there to. I was thinking seriously I know they pay him for the hour but I don't have time for his discussing with other men !!!!! I'm not say words what can hurt I don't do nothing for him just I stop him to talk with other men . I'm not gonna say 10 times please give me this please blah blah blah . If I'm going to shop, I'm saying what I wanted and what I needed. But 5 mins from them is Napa auto parts - I found very nicely Served as well as the man did it very quickly, I asked and he gave me a full set of Lug-n-Lock Kit for $31 which was much more lug nuts than I needed . In Advance auto parts wanted $56 for 10 from me.

I have done business with this site (formerly Thomsons) back in the day when they were one of the…read moreonly shops in town. Until recently, I appreciated thier ability to turn rotors. On Friday Oct 11 I called and asked if they would turn 4 rotors for me on Sat. They told me yes. I brought the rotors in at 8am as they suggested. The gentlemen behind the counter told me NO. They would not be able to turn them. I explained to them I called earlier, was told they would and how I need them. When I returned later they were UGLY. "That will be $90." Inner surface not cleaned for a good seat on the lathe (produce runout), EVERY rotor had LOTS of rust remaining. I asked for a micrometer and measured them. The front were still .050 from min while the rears were .030 from min. WHY DID THEY WASTE MY TIME AND PRODUCE JUNK? Now I was faced with waiting for 2 more days until the rotors would be available. Guess they taught me never to have rotors turned. I went elsewhere to buy new rotors.

Stopped in this last weekend for headlight bulb replacement. Trevon the associate I interacted…read morewith over the phone, greeted me and apologized that the item was unexpectedly out of stock. He arranged for another local store to fill the order and confirmed that they had it in stock. Went over to the other store and had a polar opposite experience. Manager came out when I pointed out that the bulbs were not installed straight and told me that there was nothing he could do about it and that I'd have to go to a shop to complete the installation. He also lied stating that they don't do bulb replacement, which there website clearly shows that he was lying. He smirked and just stood there, and again refused to offer any other help. Went back to see Trevon at the original store who was able to rectify the installation within just a few minutes. Call Jim at City Auto Wreckers. He was very helpful and walked me through everything I needed to do, and within 48 hours my mangled van was picked up from my stepson's grandmother's driveway - much to the relief of her HOA. Considering the state of my poor Caravan, (it now resembling a pug dog after colliding head on with a guard rail) I was quite happy to receive a payment for the van as well. It was more than enough compensation for a vehicle with very few usable front end parts. In all seriousness I had called two other places before trying City Auto Wreckers and they were not interested in helping my strange situation. By the time I spoke to Jim I was getting worried I was going to have to fly up and take care of this in person. I was so relieved to have found Jim and very thankful to him for his help.

Very convenient. When I went back for my appointment, they took me in immediately which was great considering this location is very busy. They told me it would take about an hour so I waited in their waiting area where they offer complimentary coffee. During the tire installation they also do a complimentary wheel alignment test. I dropped my car off on Monday for a scheduled inspection and didn't receive a single call or update all week. When I finally stopped in on Friday, Drew told me they wouldn't be able to do the work because it required engine work. I understand if a shop can't take on a job, but waiting until Friday to communicate that is unacceptable. A simple phone call from Drew or anyone on the team would have saved me an entire week of waiting.
