Honestly that summed up the entire experience from start to finish. Maybe too much detail but kind of what I DO. For now just let it suffice to say, just go there. They can be trusted, they are honest & customer service oriented. And they are fair. Don't know much more you can expect from a company. I had a wonderful experience (given an ongoing, seemingly unique but difficult situation with our battery purchase from 3 years back) with DANIEL. Just a gem, truly, they are lucky to have him. We've bought both our car batteries (hubby & I) from them & haven't a second of regret. Their customer service in unparalleled & trust me, if you've not already learned customer service matters most, you maybe haven't lived long enough. For our other car needs (and future batteries), we will return. Plus we got the added bonus of hearing all about the possibilities of potentially making some side money driving Uber & uber-eats (didn't even know the second one existed). Interesting conversation & also learned a thing or two about other areas (like if an employee ratchets your battery in too tight, it can crack the battery. Had NO idea & likely what happened)....so good insight worth sharing here as well (at least we hadn't known this. Maybe YOU didn't too so be careful). well I sure hope Daniel stays around there a long time, what a delight & made car problems --NO fun for anyone!--so much less a hassle (take your mind off it the minutes he was installing battery. And again, he's HONEST; refreshingly, a man of his word so that informs me on this business). Hope you manage to keep him, again, he's very personable ---in reality, he's got quite the sales personality & I know sales well from having worked top of that world once in ad sales. If you wanna succeed & have longevity & most of all, sleep well at night...3 things: be tenacious & always HONEST, be direct/clear & most of all, live & KNOW customer service is top priority at all times. Heck, one thing is sure, you will always be glad you had this logical business model when you cash that check! I think Daniel might be a man of many trades so be glad he's where he's at if you have him there. Thanks for helping us out when needed. I trust in this store, it's been well earned. And by nature, I just call it exactly as I see & experience it, so there's no confusion but ideally complete clarity. We need to know where to go, who to trust & thankfully we NOW can easily share due to technology -- it's readily available if we investigate fully. At any rate, we couldn't have been treated better.

My first experience was terrible, she was telling me I got the wrong things and recommended better items to buy so I took her advise. I found out later that she didn't know what the hell she was talking about and I wasted my time and money. I had to go to another store and get what I needed later that night. I just went to the store yesterday for a few things, I was in line for 20+ mins because she was taking forever to ring up the other customers talking and making recommendations. I put my items on the counter and she's asking what car I'm buying the coolant for, I tell her (even though I didn't want unwarranted advice from her). She questioned my decision and told me that I can return them if they are unopened. I ignored her, paid and took my receipt. She gives me my receipt and says something disrespectful and unnecessary under her breath as she walks away. This is unacceptable behavior, ring up my items and shut the hell up. I didn't ask for your advice. You sell auto parts, you don't fix cars. Just because I give you the make and model of my vehicle doesn't mean you know what my setup is. You don't know if I have the original motor or not. You don't know anything about me or my vehicle. I'll never go back again. They need to get rid of that tempermental asshole that thinks she knows anything about cars.

I ordered a remanufactured one from Autozone and their vendor was not able to provide them one after a 2 week wait. I found Northlake Auto Recyclers online and they had the head I needed in stock and already pulled. It was off a 2018 Dodge Journey. Cost for the head was $125. They come with a disclaimer that heads are for use as cores to be rebuilt only and are only guaranteed not to be cracked or warped. I took the head to a machine shop and the tech said it was in such good condition that he did not recommend rebuilding it and only did a quick milling of the sealing surfaces to be sure it was true and clean for the head gasket. Just started up the car and it runs great. I highly recommend this place. It is not a junkyard. It is more similar to a parts store but all the parts are used. You go in, tell the guys at the counter what you want, and they go in back and get it off a shelf for you. They have tons of parts for late model cars. The employee said they specialize in cars 7 years and newer.
