When I asked if I would need a bank statement (because I had been told by a family member that I would) she proceeded to say exactly what she had JUST said but more rudely than the first time around if that is even possible!! A simple nope you don't actually need that at this cash advance location, would have been sufficient. She didn't ask me what my name was or phone number (to follow up with me), she didn't use my name when talking to me because she didn't even ask for it (ironically my name is Liz as well), she did not have a friendly tone, she did not have an enthusiastic attitude, she did no try to make the process easier to understand, she did not list the benefits of why I should choose this company, she didn't try to gain my commitment to a loan, she did not mention I could start the application online or with her over the phone, she did not present herself professionally or make me want to do business with this company. I have been to this store in the past, and was pleased with the service I received. What happened…read moretoday was just the complete opposite. Toward the end of our process, the person stated that they didn't have enough cash to finish the transaction. Then I was asked if I had a debit card attached to my bank account. I gave her the card - and at the end of our session, she gave it back to me. She told me that she had transferred the money to my card. After leaving there, I checked to see if the money had been put on my account via my card. Nothing was there the several times I checked. I called the store and spoke with her about the issue. She said that she did not put money on the card, and she had given the cash to me. We discussed that several times, because I am afraid to walk around with cash. I knew I hadn't received cash, but she did argue every point I suggested. As such, I would encourage everyone to be very careful with the staff members there. I choose not to mention names. I have been there before, and was pleased with all of the others I have worked with. I wish this lady the best for her family. I don't mind being wrong about the situation, because I wouldn't have been there if I hadn't needed the money. The only reason I didn't suspect anything while I was there was because she pushed the card back to me after she had "finished" - then she said she had put the money on my card. She didn't bother to retract that statement until I called after being unable to find the money in my account. If she needs the money that bad, I feel sorry for her. I wasn't there because I had a lot of money in the bank and needed to give some away. Please be careful, so you don't go through the same thing I did. It adds more pain to how you felt before going there.
