So, when I received a letter…read morefrom the Indiana Department of Revenue to pay 3x the amount of taxes I had prepared for I was floored and panicking at what to do. I got on Thumbtack and sent out a few messages and Rachel, the owner, got back to me right away. We set up a meeting the following week to get things situated with DOR. She helped me craft a letter and told me how to turn off something I registered for and didn't need to with them. She was my life saver. After all of that dust settled my husband and I ran into a hiccup with filing our taxes and my new retirement account. Since Rachel saved the day once, I knew she'd be able to do it again. She did! She was able to get us an appointment a couple days later and we spent just over an hour from start to finish. Our return money was delayed because of a few things on our end and she checked in with us along the way to make sure we hadn't gotten anything that she might be able to help us navigate as to why. We just received our return and couldn't be happier with how much she helped us.

I would not recommend Rachel (Reliable Number Management). She has demonstrated a lack of…read moreresponsiveness, usually not returning calls, texts, or emails despite multiple attempts to reach her. Additionally, she has been late submitting our sales taxes on several occasions (never telling me and the company incurring late fees) and was late in providing our year-end reports, which necessitated filing for an extension on our taxes. We contracted her to handle our monthly entries for a year, but she did not complete these tasks until the following year, during her busy season. Consequently, she was unable to prepare our taxes in a timely manner, resulting in a late filing. This experience has been quite frustrating, and we will need to find a new service provider.

DO NOT SUPPORT R. JOSEPH STARK JR and his accounting firm located in northeast Indianapolis…read more R. Joseph Stark is unprofessional and does not care about protecting your personal data security! We have been attempting to securely file business taxes with Joe Stark's accounting firm for six months only to have received several communication delays, scheduling dates 60 days out and abruptly being yelled at, exclaiming "Go elsewhere!" (while being hung up on, with the phone being slammed in our ear - twice) after six months of back and forth communications. The organization is antiquated, and they attempted to strong arm us into non-secure electronic and paper transaction practices. We also had duplicate meetings with Joe, only to find out he had no notes and could not recall what we had previously discussed. Clearly Joe Stark is someone people should not do business with, so I'm glad this has come to light. Please be aware that if any company does not respect you and your business you have a right to better customer service as no one will care for your business like you do. Six. Months. Later. We are without accounting services and back to our original starting point. http://www.joestarkcpa.com/
